Description

本発明の組織試料採取器は、各試料が収集される後、新しいパンチを組織試料採取器の中に装填する必要を回避することによって、複数の組織試料が効率的に収集されることを可能にする。更に、組織試料採取器は、ユーザが使用済みパンチを取扱い、処分する必要を回避する。本発明の組織試料採取器によって提供される別の利点は、オーバセンタリンク機構、駆動ロッド圧縮ばね、およびストライカによって提供されるクイックリリース機構によって、動物に対してより多くのストレスおよび潜在的な損傷の原因となり、ユーザが組織試料採取器を回収することを困難にする可能性がある、動物が切断作業に反応し、組織試料採取器をユーザの手から引き離すことが起こりにくくなる。
Claims (10)
- 組織試料を収集するための収集装置と、前記組織試料を中に貯蔵するための貯蔵チューブとを備える部品のキットであって、前記収集装置が、パンチの切断端部に形成される切断縁部を含む切断要素を含むパンチを備え、更に前記パンチが、対向する押圧端部と、前記パンチおよび前記切断要素を通って延在する中央に配置された穴とを備え、前記切断要素が、前記パンチの前記切断端部で前記穴の一方の端部から延在し、前記穴の一方の端部を取り囲んで、内部に試料保持空洞が保持される囲壁を形成し、前記収集装置が、第1の端部および対向する第2の端部を含むプランジャを更に備え、前記プランジャが、前記パンチの前記穴の内部に配置され、前記穴および前記試料保持空洞の内部で前記パンチの前記切断縁部に向かって摺動するように適合されており、前記貯蔵チューブが、開口した第1の端部および閉じた第2の端部を含むチューブ本体を備え、前記貯蔵チューブが、前記チューブ本体の前記第1の端部に取り外し可能なキャップを更に備え、前記キャップが、前記チューブの前記本体を横切って延在して前記チューブ本体の前記第1の端部を封止する易破壊性シールを含み、
前記切断縁部が、前記貯蔵チューブキャップのシールを破って、前記チューブ本体に開口を形成するように適合されており、前記収集装置が、前記貯蔵チューブの前記キャップの中の前記開口内部に保持されて、前記チューブの前記第1の端部を塞ぐように適合されている、部品のキット。 - 前記シールが、薄膜の形態である、請求項1に記載の部品のキット。
- 前記プランジャの前記第1の端部が拡大されている、請求項1または2に記載の部品のキット。

- 前記収集装置が前記貯蔵チューブの前記キャップの内部に保持される場合、前記プランジャの前記第2の端部が、前記パンチの前記押圧端部から突出する、請求項1に記載の部品のキット。
- 前記プランジャの前記第2の端部が前記パンチの前記押圧端部に向かって押し下げられて、前記プランジャの第1の端部が組織試料を前記試料保持空洞の外へ押し出すことができるように、前記収集装置が適合されている、請求項6に記載の部品のキット。
- 開口した第1の端部および閉じた第2の端部を含むチューブ本体と、前記チューブ本体の前記第1の端部に取り付けられた取り外し可能なキャップとを備える貯蔵チューブのキャップを外す方法であって、収集装置が、前記キャップ内に形成された開口の内部に配置されており、前記貯蔵チューブ本体の前記第1の端部を塞ぐように機能し、前記収集装置が、前記パンチの切断端部に形成される切断縁部を有する切断要素を含むパンチを備え、更に前記パンチおよび切断要素を通って延在する中央に配置された穴を備え、前記切断要素が、前記パンチの前記切断端部の前記穴の一方の端部を取り囲んで、内部に試料保持空洞が保持される囲壁を形成し、前記収集装置が、第1の端部および対向する第2の端部を含むプランジャを更に備え、前記プランジャが、前記パンチの前記穴の内部に配置され、前記穴および前記試料保持空洞の内部で前記パンチの前記切断縁部に向かって摺動するように適合されており、前記プランジャの前記第2の端部が前記パンチの押圧端部から突出し、前記プランジャの前記第1の端部が、前記パンチの前記穴の内部に配置される方法であって、
(a)前記プランジャの前記第2の端部を前記パンチの前記押圧端部に向かって押し下げて、前記プランジャの前記第1の端部が組織試料を前記試料保持空洞の外へ、前記貯蔵チューブ本体の中へ押し込むようにするステップと、
(b)中に保持された前記収集装置を含んでいる前記キャップを前記貯蔵チューブ本体から取り外して、前記チューブ本体の内部の前記組織試料にアクセスするステップと
を含む方法。 - 前記貯蔵チューブが、複数の貯蔵チューブの1つであり、各貯蔵チューブが、複数セルのラックのセルの内部に保持される、請求項8に記載の方法。
- 各前記貯蔵チューブが、機械によって同時にキャップを取り外される、請求項9に記載の方法。
