Claims (7)
- エンジンの吸気を加圧する過給機であって、
遠心式のインペラと、
前記インペラを覆うインペラハウジングと、を備え、
前記インペラハウジングが、前記インペラからの圧縮空気の吐出通路を形成する渦巻室と、その下流の円錐形状のディフューザ室とを有し、
少なくとも前記ディフューザ室の内面が研磨され、研磨部分が非研磨部分よりも表面粗さが小さくなっており、
少なくとも前記ディフューザ室における吐出口から上流側にわたる領域の径方向外側部の内面が研磨されているエンジンの過給機。 - 請求項1に記載の過給機において、前記渦巻き室の内面が前記非研磨部分であるエンジンの過給機。
- 請求項1または2に記載の過給機において、乗物に搭載されたエンジンの過給機であって、前記過給機に走行風が導入され、
インペラが固定された過給機回転軸と、前記エンジンのクランク軸の回転を増速して前記過給機回転軸に伝達する増速装置とを有しているエンジンの過給機。 - 請求項1から3のいずれか一項に記載の過給機において、前記インペラハウジングの内面が塗装され、
前記内面の研磨により、前記研磨部分の塗装膜が除去され、
前記研磨部分の表面粗さは、塗装部分の表面粗さよりも小さく設定されているエンジンの過給機。 - 請求項1から4のいずれか一項に記載の過給機において、前記インペラハウジングが、アルミニウム合金で形成され、金属製のエアクリーナに面接触しているエンジンの過給機。
- 請求項1から5のいずれか一項に記載の過給機において、前記エンジンに供給される吸気温度が90℃以上であるエンジンの過給機。
- 請求項1から6のいずれか一項に記載の過給機において、前記エンジンは鞍乗型車両に搭載され、
前記鞍乗型車両が、過給機の吐出口に接続されて前記吸気を蓄える吸気チャンバを備えているエンジンの過給機。
