また、HDTVと共にHDTVの4倍以上の解像度を有するUHD(Ultra High Definition)に対する関心が増大すると共に、より高い解像度、高画質の映像に対する圧縮機術が要求されている。
垂直予測モード及び水平予測モードの判断過程(S610、S620)は、互いに関連があるものではなく、互いに順序が変わってもよい。水平予測モードである場合、予測対象画素が現在ブロックの上側境界に位置した画素であるかどうかを判断する(S622)。判断結果、上側境界に位置した画素である場合、補正を実行する(S632)。画面内予測モードが水平予測モードであり、且つ上側境界に位置した画素でない場合、補正を実行しない(S630)。画面内予測モードが垂直又は水平予測モードでない場合、現在ブロックに対する予測値に対する補正を実行しない(S630)。

Claims (2)
- 映像復号化方法において、
現在ブロックに対して画面内予測を実行することで、予測ブロックを生成する段階;及び、
前記予測ブロックに残差ブロックを加えて映像を復元する段階;を含み、
前記予測ブロックを生成する段階は、前記現在ブロックに含まれている予測対象画素の1次予測値と、前記予測対象画素の初期補正値に対する2の補数の整数表現に対して2進数の1ほど算術的右側移動を実行して計算された最終補正値と、に基づいて前記予測対象画素の最終予測値を生成し、
前記予測ブロックを生成する段階は、前記現在ブロックの符号化情報によって画面内予測値の補正の可否の決定を行い、前記画面内予測値の補正の可否の決定の結果に基づいて前記予測対象画素の最終予測値を生成し、
前記予測ブロックを生成する段階は、前記現在ブロックの色差に関して画面内予測値を補正せず、
前記予測ブロックを生成する段階は、現在ブロックが32×32よりも小さい大きさを有するときに画面内予測値を補正し、
前記予測ブロックを生成する段階は、前記現在ブロックと隣接した位置の画素のうち、既に復元された画素を利用して参照画素を決定し、前記参照画素の画素値を平滑化フィルタリングすることを特徴とする映像復号化方法。 - 映像符号化方法において、
現在ブロックに対して画面内予測を実行することで、予測ブロックを生成する段階;及び、
前記予測ブロックに基づいて残差ブロックを生成する段階;を含み、
前記予測ブロックを生成する段階は、前記現在ブロックに含まれている予測対象画素の1次予測値と、前記予測対象画素の初期補正値に対する2の補数の整数表現に対して2進数の1ほど算術的右側移動を実行して計算された最終補正値と、に基づいて前記予測対象画素の最終予測値を生成し、
前記予測ブロックを生成する段階は、前記現在ブロックの符号化情報によって画面内予測値の補正の可否の決定を行い、前記画面内予測値の補正の可否の決定の結果に基づいて前記予測対象画素の最終予測値を生成し、

前記予測ブロックを生成する段階は、前記現在ブロックと隣接した位置の画素のうち、既に復元された画素を利用して参照画素を決定し、前記参照画素の画素値を平滑化フィルタリングすることを特徴とする映像符号化方法。
