Description
図1及び図3に示される形状及び構造を有する航空機の窓枠を作製する未硬化の複合アセンブリが作製された。成形可能要素16は、HexMC(登録商標)AS4/8552から形成され、HexMC(登録商標)AS4/8552は、エポキシ樹脂8552の樹脂マトリックスを有する非連続のUD AS4炭素繊維から成るDFC成形材料である。HexMC(登録商標)AS4/8552は、樹脂含有量が成形材料の合計重量の約38%である約1925gsmの面積重量を有していた。多方向のファイバ本体14は、エポキシ樹脂8552の樹脂マトリックス(AS4/8552)の8層の平織りAS4炭素繊維から構成されていた。各織り繊維層の面積重量は、樹脂含有量が多方向ファイバ本体14の合計重量の約40%である時、約200gsmであった。UD本体12は、HexCurve(登録商標)IMA/8552の層とAS4/8552平織り繊維織物の交互の層から構成される16層の積層体として形成された。HexCurve(登録商標)IMA/8552は、上述のように幅方向の屈曲を可能にするためにプレツイストされた炭素繊維のUDテープである。HexCurve(登録商標)IMA/8552は、樹脂含有量がHexCurve(登録商標)UDテープの合計重量の約34%である時、約268gsmの面積重量を有していた。
Claims (14)
- 多要素複合構造体を形成するために硬化され得る複合アセンブリであって、前記複合アセンブリは、
未硬化の熱硬化性樹脂、一方向の連続ファイバの層、及び、多方向連続ファイバの層を備える構造的部材を備える構造的要素であって、構造的要素面を含む構造的要素と、
未硬化の熱硬化性樹脂及び非連続のファイバを備える成形可能本体を備える成形可能要素であって、成形可能要素面を備える成形可能要素と
を備え、
前記構造的要素面及び前記成形可能要素面は、前記複合アセンブリの内部に位置する共通の界面を共有し、
前記多方向連続ファイバの層は、前記一方向ファイバの層と前記界面との間に配置される、複合アセンブリ。 - 前記多方向連続ファイバの層は、織り繊維を備える、請求項1に記載の複合アセンブリ。
- 前記構造的要素は、一方向の連続ファイバと多方向の連続ファイバとの交互の層を備える、請求項1に記載の複合アセンブリ。
- 前記構造的要素は、前記成形可能要素に完全に囲まれる、請求項1に記載の複合アセンブリ。
- 少なくとも2つの構造的要素が、前記成形可能要素内に配置される、請求項4に記載の複合アセンブリ。
- 第1の構造的要素は、第1の平面配置に向けられた連続した一方向ファイバを備え、第2の構造的要素は、第2の平面配置に向けられた一方向ファイバを備え、前記第1の平面配置と前記第2の平面配置は、同一平面上にない、請求項5に記載の複合アセンブリ。
- 請求項1に記載の複合アセンブリを硬化することにより形成される多要素複合構造体。
- 前記構造的要素は、一方向連続ファイバと多方向連続ファイバとの交互の層を含む、請求項7に記載の多要素複合構造体。
- 前記構造的要素は、前記成形可能要素に完全に囲まれる、請求項7に記載の多要素複合構造体。
- 少なくとも2つの構造的要素が、前記成形可能要素内に配置される、請求項9に記載の多要素複合構造体。
- 第1の構造的要素は、第1の平面配置に向けられた連続した一方向ファイバを備え、第2の構造的要素は、第2の平面配置に向けられた一方向ファイバを備え、前記第1の平面配置と前記第2の平面配置は、同一平面上にない、請求項10に記載の多要素複合構造体。

- 多要素複合構造体を形成するために硬化され得る複合アセンブリを作製する方法であって、
未硬化の熱硬化性樹脂、一方向連続ファイバの層、及び、多方向連続ファイバの層を備える構造的部材を備える構造的要素を提供するステップであって、前記構造的要素は構造的要素面を備える、前記提供するステップと、
未硬化の熱硬化性樹脂と非連続ファイバを備える成形可能本体を備える成形可能要素を提供するステップであって、前記成形可能要素は成形可能要素面を備える、前記提供するステップと、
前記構造的要素面と前記成形可能要素面が前記複合アセンブリの内部に位置する共通の界面を共有するように前記複合アセンブリを形成するために、前記構造的要素と前記成形可能要素を共に組み合わせるステップであって、前記多方向連続ファイバの層は、前記一方向ファイバの層と前記界面との間に配置される、組み合わせるステップと、
