Description
図1はポリマー鎖を固定化する基材(基材ガスケット)を示す側面図の一例である。図2、3は、それぞれ、図1の第1突出部、底面側突出部における環状平坦部を示す部分拡大図(円で囲まれた部位)の一例である。
上記加硫ゴム、上記熱可塑性エラストマーとしては、二重結合に隣接する炭素原子(アリル位の炭素原子)を有するものが好適に使用される。

(式中、R21は水素原子、メチル基、エチル基、プロピル基又はフェニル基であり、Rf21はフッ素原子を含有する有機基であり、RAは(メタ)アクリル基を含有する有機基であり、hはh≧2である。)
で表される環状シロキサンからなり、1分子中にF原子を3個以上及びSi原子を3個以上含有する多官能(メタ)アクリレート化合物も挙げられる。
なお、工程3は、工程3−1及び工程3−2のサイクルを更に繰り返すものでもよい。この場合、工程3−1及び工程3−2で鎖延長させたポリマー鎖に、更にポリマー鎖が鎖延長される。
表1に記載の形状を有する基材ガスケット(イソプレンユニットを含むクロロブチルゴム(不飽和度:1〜2%)をトリアジンで架橋(180℃で10分加硫))を、ベンゾフェノンの3wt%アセトン溶液に5分間浸漬して、基材ガスケット表面にベンゾフェノンを吸着させ、乾燥させた。
乾燥した基材ガスケットをアクリルアミド水溶液(2.5M)の入ったガラス反応容器に浸漬し、365nmの波長を持つLED−UVライトを150分照射し、ラジカル重合を行ってゴム表面にポリマー鎖を成長させた。これにより目的のガスケットを得た。
表1に記載の形状を有する基材ガスケット(イソプレンユニットを含むクロロブチルゴム(不飽和度:1〜2%)をトリアジンで架橋(180℃で10分加硫))を、ベンゾフェノンの3wt%アセトン溶液に浸漬して、基材ガスケット表面にベンゾフェノンを吸着させ、乾燥させた。
乾燥した基材ガスケットをアクリルアミド水溶液(2.5M)の入ったガラス反応容器に浸漬し、365nmの波長を持つLED−UVライトを150分照射し、ラジカル重合を行ってゴム表面にポリマー鎖を成長させた。その後、表面を水洗し、乾燥させた。
次に、乾燥したガスケットを再度ベンゾフェノンの3wt%アセトン溶液に5分間浸漬して、ポリマー鎖の表面にベンゾフェノンを吸着させ、乾燥させた。
更に、乾燥したガスケット表面に、フッ素含有モノマー液(信越化学工業社製 KY−1203(下記式で示される含フッ素エポキシ変性有機ケイ素化合物及び含フッ素(メタ)アクリル変性有機ケイ素化合物の混合物)をエタノールで20wt%に希釈したもの)を塗布し、365nmの波長を持つLED−UVライトを10分間照射してラジカル重合を行って、ポリマー鎖を延長させた。これにより目的のガスケットを得た。
表1に記載の形状を有する基材ガスケット(イソプレンユニットを含むクロロブチルゴム(不飽和度:1〜2%)をトリアジンで架橋(180℃で10分加硫))を、ベンゾフェノンの3wt%アセトン溶液に浸漬して、基材ガスケット表面にベンゾフェノンを吸着させ、乾燥させた。
乾燥した基材ガスケットをアクリルアミド/アクリル酸混合水溶液(2.5M、アクリルアミド:アクリル酸=75:25)の入ったガラス反応容器に浸漬し、365nmの波長を持つLED−UVライトを150分照射し、ラジカル重合を行ってゴム表面にポリマー鎖を成長させた。その後、表面を水洗し、乾燥させた。
次に、乾燥したガスケットを再度ベンゾフェノンの3wt%アセトン溶液に5分間浸漬して、ポリマー鎖の表面にベンゾフェノンを吸着させ、乾燥させた。
更に、乾燥したガスケット表面に、フッ素含有モノマー液(信越化学工業社製:KY−1203(上記式で示される含フッ素エポキシ変性有機ケイ素化合物及び含フッ素(メタ)アクリル変性有機ケイ素化合物の混合物)をエタノールで20wt%に希釈したもの)を塗布し、365nmの波長を持つLED−UVライトを10分間照射してラジカル重合を行って、ポリマー鎖を延長させた。これにより目的のガスケットを得た。
イソプレンユニットを含むクロロブチルゴム(不飽和度:1〜2%)をトリアジンで架橋した加硫ゴムガスケット(180℃で10分加硫)そのものを用いた。
表1に記載の形状を有する基材ガスケット(イソプレンユニットを含むクロロブチルゴム(不飽和度:1〜2%)をトリアジンで架橋(180℃で10分加硫))を、ベンゾフェノンの3wt%アセトン溶液に5分間浸漬して、基材ガスケット表面にベンゾフェノンを吸着させ、乾燥させた。
乾燥した基材ガスケットをアクリルアミド水溶液(2.5M)の入ったガラス反応容器に浸漬し、365nmの波長を持つLED−UVライトを150分照射し、ラジカル重合を行ってゴム表面にポリマー鎖を成長させた。これにより目的のガスケットを得た。
(ポリマー鎖の長さ)
ガスケット表面に形成されたポリマー鎖の長さは、ポリマー鎖が形成されたガスケット断面を、SEMを使用し、加速電圧15kV、1000倍で測定した。撮影されたポリマー層の厚みをポリマー鎖の長さとした。
ガスケット表面の摩擦抵抗力を測定するために、参考例、実施例、比較例で作製した加硫ゴムガスケットを注射器のCOP樹脂シリンジにセットし、引張試験機を用いて押し込んでいき、そのときの摩擦抵抗力を測定した(押し込み速度:30mm/min)。比較例1の摩擦抵抗力を100として、下記式を用い、各参考例、実施例について摩擦抵抗指数で示した。指数が小さい方が、摩擦抵抗力が低いことを示す。

参考例、実施例、比較例で作製した加硫ゴムガスケットを注射器のCOP樹脂シリンジにセットし、食紅水溶液を入れ、キャップをして、40℃で2週間保管して、液漏れの状態を目視で確認した。

Claims (14)
- 摺動面に複数の環状突出部を有し、少なくとも一部の表面にポリマー鎖が固定化されたガスケットであって、
前記環状突出部のうち、天面に最も近い第1突出部及び/又は天面から最も遠い底面側突出部が、幅0.1mm以上の環状平坦部を有し、
前記第1突出部は、天面側及び底面側に曲面部を有し、底面側曲面部の曲率が天面側曲面部の曲率より大きいガスケット。 - 前記第1突出部の環状平坦部の幅より、前記底面側突出部の環状平坦部の幅の方が大きい請求項1記載のガスケット。
- 前記底面側突出部の環状平坦部の幅が0.4mm以上である請求項1又は2記載のガスケット。
- 前記環状突出部を3個以上有し、
前記第1突出部及び前記底面側突出部の外径より、前記第1突出部と前記底面側突出部の間にある中間突出部の外径の方が小さい請求項1〜3のいずれかに記載のガスケット。 - 前記中間突出部の外径が前記第1突出部の外径の96〜99.5%である請求項4記載のガスケット。
- 前記底面側曲面部の曲率が0.4〜2.0である請求項1〜5のいずれかに記載のガスケット。
- 前記ポリマー鎖は、基材ガスケットの表面に重合開始点Aを形成する工程1と、前記重合開始点Aを起点にしてモノマーをラジカル重合させてポリマー鎖を成長させる工程2とを含む表面改質方法を用いて固定化されたものである請求項1〜6のいずれかに記載のガスケット。
- 前記表面改質方法は、前記工程2で成長させたポリマー鎖に、更に同一又は異なるポリマー鎖を延長又は固定化させる工程3を含む請求項7記載のガスケット。
- 前記工程1は、前記基材ガスケットの表面に光重合開始剤Aを吸着させ、又は更に300〜450nmのLED光を照射し、前記表面上の光重合開始剤Aから重合開始点Aを形成させるものである請求項7又は8記載のガスケット。
- 前記工程2は、前記重合開始点Aを起点にしてモノマーを300〜450nmのLED光の照射によりラジカル重合させてポリマー鎖を成長させるものである請求項7〜9のいずれかに記載のガスケット。
- 前記ポリマー鎖は、基材ガスケットの表面に光重合開始剤Aの存在下でモノマーをラジカル重合させてポリマー鎖を成長させる工程Iを含む表面改質方法を用いて固定化されたものである請求項1〜6のいずれかに記載のガスケット。
- 前記表面改質方法は、前記工程Iで成長させたポリマー鎖に、更に同一又は異なるポリマー鎖を延長又は固定化させる工程IIを含む請求項11記載のガスケット。
- 前記工程Iは、モノマーを300〜450nmのLED光の照射によりラジカル重合させてポリマー鎖を成長させるものである請求項11又は12記載のガスケット。
- 前記ポリマー鎖の長さが、10〜50000nmである請求項1〜13のいずれかに記載のガスケット。
