Description
装置本体と回転軸との間隙で装置内部の密封流体をシールするメカニカルシール装置であって、
前記装置本体に取り付けられるシールケースと、
前記回転軸に取り付けられる回転用密封環と、
前記回転用密封環に対して軸方向に対向して配置される固定用密封環と、
前記固定用密封環と前記シールケースとの間に軸方向伸縮可能に取り付けられるベローズと、を有し、
前記シールケースには、前記ベローズの内周面側の静圧流体室に、静圧流体を供給する静圧流体供給孔を形成してあり、
前記固定用密封環には、前記静圧流体室の静圧流体を、前記固定用密封環と前記回転用密封環との間のシール面に導く連通孔を形成してあり、
前記ベローズの外周面側に前記密封流体を配置してあることを特徴とする。
本実施形態に係るメカニカルシール装置1は、一般産業用の攪拌機、ブロワやコンプレッサ等の装置に装着されるシール装置であり、特に、食品、医療品、化学物質の製造用途に使用される。
図5に示すように、本実施形態に係るメカニカルシール装置1aは、図1〜図4に示す第1実施形態のメカニカルシール装置1の変形例であり、以下に示す以外は、第1実施形態と同様な構成を有し、同様な作用効果を奏する。第1実施形態と共通する構成については、図面において、類似の符号を用い、重複する部分の説明は省略する。

Claims (6)
- 装置本体と回転軸との間隙で装置内部の密封流体をシールするメカニカルシール装置であって、
前記装置本体に取り付けられるシールケースと、
前記回転軸に取り付けられる回転用密封環と、
前記回転用密封環に対して軸方向に対向して配置される固定用密封環と、
前記固定用密封環と前記シールケースとの間に軸方向伸縮可能に取り付けられるベローズと、を有し、
前記シールケースには、前記ベローズの内周面側の静圧流体室に、静圧流体を供給する静圧流体供給孔を形成してあり、
前記固定用密封環には、前記静圧流体室の静圧流体を、前記固定用密封環と前記回転用密封環との間のシール面に導く連通孔を形成してあり、
前記ベローズの外周面側に前記密封流体を配置してあり、
前記固定用密封環に前記連通孔に連続する環状溝を形成してあり、
前記環状溝の外径は、前記ベローズの圧力作用径と略等しくなるように形成してあることを特徴とするメカニカルシール装置。 - 装置本体と回転軸との間隙で装置内部の密封流体をシールするメカニカルシール装置であって、
前記装置本体に取り付けられるシールケースと、
前記回転軸に取り付けられる回転用密封環と、
前記回転用密封環に対して軸方向に対向して配置される固定用密封環と、
前記固定用密封環と前記シールケースとの間に軸方向伸縮可能に取り付けられるベローズと、を有し、
前記シールケースには、前記ベローズの内周面側の静圧流体室に、静圧流体を供給する静圧流体供給孔を形成してあり、
前記固定用密封環には、前記静圧流体室の静圧流体を、前記固定用密封環と前記回転用密封環との間のシール面に導く連通孔を形成してあり、
前記ベローズの外周面側に前記密封流体を配置してあり、
前記固定用密封環に前記連通孔に連続する環状溝を形成してあり、
前記環状溝の内径は、前記シール部材の前記固定用密封環に対する接触径と略等しくなるように形成してあることを特徴とするメカニカルシール装置。 - 前記ベローズの内周面側で前記シールケースと前記固定用密封環との間に配置され、前記固定用密封環を軸方向に移動可能に保持し、前記静圧流体室を大気側空間から密封するシール部材をさらに有する請求項1または2に記載のメカニカルシール装置。
- 前記シール部材よりも大気側に配置され、前記固定用密封環を前記回転用密封環側に押圧する弾性部材をさらに有することを特徴とする請求項3に記載のメカニカルシール装置。
- 前記静圧流体室の内部に配置され、前記固定用密封環を前記回転用密封環側に押圧する弾性部材をさらに有することを特徴とする請求項1〜3のいずれかに記載のメカニカルシール装置。
- 前記回転用密封環のシール面に動圧発生溝が形成してあることを特徴とする請求項1〜5のいずれかに記載のメカニカルシール装置。
