1.工具中心(軸心)から左右の基準面までの座標L、Rを測定する。
2.基準面から加工された左右の溝(幅)の座標L1、R1を測定する。
3.測定されたR、L、R1、L1から左右の溝幅L1−L、R1−Rを算出する。
4.左溝幅L1−Lと右溝幅R1−Rの差の1/2を溝タオレとして算出する(すなわち、溝タオレ=(左溝幅−右溝幅)/2)。
・試験工具:試験用ラフィングクリスマスカッタ(最大径約50mmφ、最小径約10mmφ)
・被削材質:SNCN439 90HRB(JIS規格)
・切削油剤:不水溶性切削油剤(JIS2種5号)
・加工機械:たて型M/Cフライス盤
・切削速度:約23m/min
・送り速度:約7mm/min
・溝深さ:約70mm
Claims (4)
- 軸心方向に工具先端側へ向かうに従って切れ刃の刃先径が増減させられており、複数の凹凸が前記軸心方向に連続して波形状に形成されたラフィングを外周部に備え、前記軸心まわりに回転駆動されつつ被加工物に対して前記軸心と垂直な方向へ相対移動させられることにより、所定形状の加工溝を切削加工する総形回転切削工具であって、
前記切れ刃の刃先径が極小となる首部には、該首部以外の部分に形成されたラフィングとは形状の異なるファインラフィングが形成されたものであり、
前記ファインラフィングは、前記首部以外の部分に形成された前記ラフィングよりも、前記凹凸の周期、深さおよび曲率半径のうちの少なくとも1つが小さいものである
ことを特徴とする総形回転切削工具。 - 前記首部以外の部分に形成された前記ラフィングにおける前記凹凸の周期は、0.5mmから5.0mmの範囲内であり、
前記首部に形成された前記ファインラフィングにおける前記凹凸の周期は、前記首部以外の部分に形成された前記ラフィングにおける前記凹凸の周期の0.25倍から0.75倍の範囲内である
請求項1に記載の総形回転切削工具。 - 前記切れ刃の刃先径が極小となる複数の首部のうち、前記切れ刃の刃先径が最小となる首部には、前記ファインラフィングが形成されたものである
請求項1又は2に記載の総形回転切削工具。 - 前記ファインラフィングが形成された部分と、前記切れ刃の刃先径が極小となる首部以外の前記ラフィングが形成された部分との間には、該ラフィング及び前記ファインラフィングの中間的な形状のラフィングが形成されたものであり、
前記中間的な形状のラフィングは、
前記切れ刃の刃先径が極小となる首部以外の部分に形成された前記ラフィングよりも、前記凹凸の周期、深さおよび曲率半径が小さいものであり、
前記ファインラフィングよりも、前記凹凸の周期、深さおよび曲率半径が大きいものである
請求項1から3の何れか1項に記載の総形回転切削工具。
