Description
前記希薄紙料に適用される歩留まり系が使用され、この歩留まり系が、成分として
i)異なるカチオン性ポリマーのブレンド、および
ii)微粒子材料
を含んでおり、
前記カチオン性ポリマーのブレンドが、
a)1グラムあたり0.5〜3mEq未満の電荷密度、および700,000Da超のモル質量を有するカチオン性ポリマーであって、ビニルアミン単位を含むポリマーおよびポリエチレンイミンから選択されるカチオン性ポリマー、
b)1グラムあたり3mEq未満の電荷密度、および少なくとも3dl/gの固有粘度を有するカチオン性ポリマー
を含んでおり、
前記歩留まり系の成分の1種を、最終せん断工程の後に前記希薄紙料に計量供給し、前記歩留まり系のもう1種の成分を、最終せん断工程の前に前記希薄紙料に計量供給する前記方法が提供される。
FRは、測定した、ポリマー溶液の非揮発性留分である;
KVは、滴定で使用されるKPVSの容積(ml)である;
CKは、KPVS溶液の濃度(ミリグラム当量/ml)である;
PTは、使用されるポリマーの理論的質量量(グラム)である。
例1
製紙プロセスにおける秘密試験(confidential trial)
製紙工場は、ギャップフォーマー上で上質塗工紙を製造する。完成紙料は、カバ材25%とマツ材75%とからなる漂白化学パルプ100%である。カバ材(短繊維)のカナダ標準ろ水度は、350〜450であり、マツ材(長繊維)のカナダ標準ろ水度は、500〜560である。新たな填料は、PCC(precipitated calcium carbonate(沈殿炭酸カルシウム))であり、10%の量で前記紙料中に含まれていた。このPCCは、現場で製造されて、平均粒径2.3μmを有していた。ヘッドボックス(head box)での前記紙料の濃度は、0.8%である。
Claims (3)
- 紙または板紙を製造する方法であって、セルロース希薄紙料を提供し、1つまたは複数のせん断工程に供して、次に移動式スクリーンを通して脱水し、シートを形成して、該シートを乾燥させる前記方法において、
前記希薄紙料に適用される歩留まり系が使用され、該歩留まり系が、成分として
i)異なるカチオン性ポリマーのブレンド、および
ii)微粒子材料としてベントナイト
を含んでおり、
前記カチオン性ポリマーのブレンドが、
a)ビニルアミン単位を含むポリマーから選択される、1グラムあたり1〜2mEqの電荷密度、および700,000Da超のモル質量を有するカチオン性ポリマー、
b)1グラムあたり3mEq未満の電荷密度、および少なくとも7dl/gの固有粘度を有するカチオン性ポリマー
を含んでおり、
i)カチオン性ポリマーのブレンドを、最終せん断工程の前に前記希薄紙料に計量供給し、ii)微粒子材料を、最終せん断工程の後に前記希薄紙料に計量供給する、前記方法。 - a)1グラムあたり1〜2mEqの電荷密度、および700,000Da超のモル質量を有するカチオン性ポリマーが、ポリビニルアミン、および部分的に加水分解されたポリビニルカルボキシアミドからなる群から選択される、請求項1に記載の方法。
- b)1グラムあたり3mEq未満の電荷密度、および少なくとも7dl/gの固有粘度を有するカチオン性ポリマーが、
bi)ジアルキルアミノアルキル(メタ)アクリレートの第四級塩または酸性塩、ジアルキルアミノアルキル(メタ)アクリルアミドの第四級塩または酸性塩、およびジアルキルジアリルアンモニウムハロゲン化物からなる群から選択される水溶性カチオン性のエチレン性不飽和モノマー;
bii)アクリルアミドおよびメタクリルアミドからなる群から選択される、水溶性非イオン性のエチレン性不飽和モノマー
のコポリマーである、請求項1又は2に記載の方法。
