Claims (29)
- 第3世代パートナーシッププロジェクト(3GPP)ネットワークの第1のリンクによる1つ以上のメディアストリームを受信するパケットベースのネットワークインターフェースと、
機能情報を前記第1のリンクにより送信するパケット交換ストリーミングサービス(PSS)クライアントであって、前記機能情報は、前記第1のリンクで前記1つ以上のメディアストリームを受信するために用いる装置機能を記述する装置機能属性を指定し、前記装置機能属性は無線ローカルエリアネットワークの第2のリンクを通してアクセスできる表示装置の機能を記述し、前記PSSクライアントは、セッション記述プロトコル(SDP)又はメディアプレゼンテーション記述(MPD)を用いてPSSサーバとのセッションレベルシグナリングから収集した情報に基づき、前記第2のリンクでの前記表示装置との通信を管理する、PSSクライアントと
を備えるユーザ装置(UE)。 - 前記パケットベースのネットワークインターフェースは、リアルタイムストリーミングプロトコル(RTSP)によりメディアストリームを受信する
請求項1記載のUE。 - 前記パケットベースのネットワークインターフェースは、ハイパーテキスト転送プロトコル(HTTP)によりメディアストリームを受信する
請求項1記載のUE。 - 前記パケットベースのネットワークインターフェースは、dynamic adaptive streaming over hypertext transfer protocol (DASH)によりメディアストリームを受信する
請求項1記載のUE。 - 前記PSSクライアントは、リアルタイムストリーミングプロトコル(RTSP)及びセッション記述プロトコル(SDP)により機能情報を送信する
請求項1記載のUE。 - 前記機能情報は、プリデコーダのバッファサイズ、初期バッファ期間、復号器の機能、ディスプレイの特性、ストリーミング方式、適応化対応情報、体感品質(QoE)対応情報、拡張リアルタイムトランスポートコントロールプロトコル(RTCP)通知対応、急速コンテンツ切り替え(fast content switching)対応、対応するリアルタイムトランスファープロトコル(RTP)プロファイルの情報、又はセッション記述プロトコル(SDP)属性のうちの1つ以上を含む
請求項1記載のUE。 - 前記PSSクライアントは、前記表示装置の前記機能に基づきネゴシエートセッションパラメータを前記第1のリンクにより送信する
請求項1記載のUE。 - 前記セッションパラメータは、コーデック情報、コンテナフォーマット、復号器機能、動画品質要件、サービス品質(QoS)パラメータ、前記第2のリンクの特性を考慮したトランスポートプロトコル、又は前記表示装置の機能のうち1つ以上を含む
請求項7記載のUE。 - 前記第2のリンクにより情報を通信する無線周波数(RF)送受信部を備え、前記PSSクライアントは、前記RF送受信部を通して前記第2のリンクで前記表示装置の機能を記述する属性を受信し、かつ前記RF送受信部を通して前記第2のリンクで前記1つ以上のメディアストリームを転送する
請求項1記載のUE。 - 前記PSSクライアントは、セッションパラメータの変更、動画パラメータの適応化、前記第2のリンクによるトラフィックの優先順位付け、リソースの割り当て及び帯域幅割り当ての最適化のうち1つ以上を前記第2のリンクにより実行する
請求項9記載のUE。 - 前記PSSクライアントは、前記第2のリンクの特性又は前記表示装置の機能のうちの1つ以上に基づき、メディア適応化処理を実行する
請求項9記載のUE。 - 前記装置機能属性は、それぞれ、属性名、許容される値、及び定義された語彙のセマンティクスを含む
請求項1記載のUE。 - タッチスクリーンディスプレイを備える請求項1記載のUE。
- プロセッサ回路と、
第3世代パートナーシッププロジェクト(3GPP)ロングタームエボルーション(LTE)又はLTEアドバンス(LTE−A)ネットワークのリンクで、メディアストリームに対する機能情報の受信を前記プロセッサ回路により実行するパケット交換ストリーミングサービス(PSS)クライアントであって、前記機能情報は、前記リンクで前記メディアストリームを受信するために用いる装置機能属性を指定し、かつ表示装置の機能を記述するために、前記装置機能属性を一時的に調整する、PSSクライアントと、
無線ローカルエリアネットワークの第2のリンクにより1つ以上のメディアストリームを前記表示装置に転送する無線周波数(RF)送受信部と、
を備え、
前記PSSクライアントは、前記第2のリンクの特性及び表示装置の機能情報に基づき、リアルタイムトランスポートコントロールプロトコル(RTCP)受信機レポート、リアルタイムストリーミングプロトコル(RTSP)メッセージ、temporary maximum media stream bit rate request (TMMBR)メッセージ、又はdynamic adaptive streaming over HTTP (DASH)表現に対するハイパーテキスト転送プロトコル(HTTP)GETリクエストのうちの1つ以上を導出するユーザ装置(UE)。 - 前記PSSクライアントは、リアルタイムストリーミングプロトコル(RTSP)、ハイパーテキスト転送プロトコル(HTTP)、又はdynamic streaming over HTTP(DASH)を通して前記メディアストリームを受信する
請求項14記載のUE。 - 前記PSSクライアントは、前記第2のリンクによる伝送の信頼性又は前記表示装置の実行するメディア処理の特性に基づき、体感品質(QoE)レポートを生成する
請求項15記載のUE。 - 前記メディア処理は、メディアバッファリング処理又はメディア復号化処理を含む
請求項16記載のUE。 - 前記PSSクライアントは、前記第2のリンクでリアルタイムストリーミングプロトコル(RTSP)及びセッション記述プロトコル(SDP)プロトコルスタックを用いて、セッション管理又は装置機能交換シグナリングを実行する

を備える無線装置。 - 前記RF送受信部は、リアルタイムストリーミングプロトコル(RTSP)、ハイパーテキスト転送プロトコル(HTTP)、又はdynamic adaptive streaming over HTTP(DASH)によりメディアストリームを受信する

セッション記述プロトコル(SDP)又はメディアプレゼンテーション記述(MPD)を用いてPSSサーバとのセッションレベルシグナリングから収集した情報に基づき、前記第2のリンクでの前記表示装置との通信を管理するステップと、
