Claims (12)
- 基板上に、第1主鎖を形成する第1物質及び第2主鎖を形成する第2物質を含み、
前記第1物質は、光硬化剤と結合され、前記第2物質は、垂直配向性官能基と結合され、
前記光硬化剤は、互いに架橋結合して、前記基板に対してプレチルト角で傾くように配列され、
前記垂直配向性官能基は、前記基板に対して実質的に垂直配列され、また前記第1物質と前記第2物質が、互いに異なり、
前記第1物質は、ポリエチレン(polyethylene)であることを特徴とする配向膜。 - 前記第2物質は、ポリイミド(polyimide)であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の配向膜。
- 架橋剤をさらに含むことを特徴とする請求項1又は請求項2に記載の配向膜。
- 前記配向膜の厚さ方向に沿って、前記第1物質と前記第2物質の相対的な量が漸次変わることを特徴とする請求項1乃至請求項3のうち何れか一項に記載の配向膜。
- 前記光硬化剤は、各々光照射により架橋結合された光反応基部位とスペーサ部位を含み、前記スペーサ部位は、環状化合物を含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の配向膜。
- 前記架橋剤のいずれか一方の末端は、前記光硬化剤中のいずれか一つと結合し、他の一方の末端は前記第2物質と結合することを特徴とする請求項3に記載の配向膜。
- 前記垂直配向性官能基と前記光硬化剤が主に分布した配向機能層に近い部分には、前記第1物質が前記第2物質より多く、前記配向機能層から遠くなるほど、前記第2物質が前記第1物質より多く分布することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の配向膜。
- 基板上に、ポリエチレン(polyethylene)からなる第1主鎖と結合した光硬化剤を含み、前記光硬化剤は、互いに架橋結合して、前記基板に対してプレチルト角で傾くように配列されることを特徴とする配向膜。
