で表される不活化効果Rが2以上であり、前記試験において照度が1000lxの可視光を24時間照射したときの不活化効果Rが1以上である。実施形態の抗ウイルス性繊維は、前記微粒子が0.01mg/cm2以上40mg/cm2以下の範囲で付着された布の形態を有する。

(2)X線回折チャートにおいて、2θが22.8〜23.4°の範囲に存在するピークをA、2θが23.4〜23.8°の範囲に存在するピークをB、2θが24.0〜24.25°の範囲に存在するピークをC、2θが24.25〜24.5°の範囲に存在するピークをDとしたとき、ピークDに対するピークAの強度比(A/D)およびピークDに対するピークBの強度比(B/D)がそれぞれ0.5〜2.0の範囲であり、かつピークDに対するピークCの強度比(C/D)が0.04〜2.5の範囲である。
(2)X線回折チャートにおいて、2θが22.5°以上25°以下の範囲に第1および第2ピークを有し、ピークの谷間の強度が第1のピークの強度比の10%以上である。
(3)X線回折チャートにおいて、2θが22.5°以上25°以下の範囲に第1、第2および第3ピークを有し、各ピークの谷間のうち最も低い谷間の強度が第1のピークの強度比の10%以上である。
原料として密度4.7g/cm3の酸化タングステンのペレットを用意した。これを反応容器に設置し、酸素を10L/minの流量で流しながら圧力を3.5kPaに保持しつつ、CO2レーザを照射した。レーザ処理により作製した酸化タングステン微粒子を大気中にて900℃、0.5hの条件下で熱処理して実施例1の微粒子を得た。
原料粉末として平均粒子径が0.5μmの三酸化タングステン粉末を用意した。この原料粉末をキャリアガス(Ar)と共にRFプラズマに噴霧し、さらに反応ガスとして酸素を80L/minの流量で流した。この際、反応容器内の圧力は20kPaに調整した。このようにして、原料粉末を昇華させながら酸化反応させる昇華工程を経て、酸化タングステン微粒子を作製した。得られた酸化タングステン微粒子の平均粒子径(D80)と40nm以下の粒子の比率とBET比表面積等の粉末特性を実施例1と同様にして測定した。さらに、X線回折結果に基づく微粒子の2θが22.5〜25°の間に存在するピークの数、および第3ピークまで有する場合にはピークの谷間の第1ピークに対する強度比等のX線回折評価を実施例1と同様にして行った。それら結果を表1に示す。
反応ガスとしてアルゴンを40L/min、空気を40L/minの流量で流し、反応容器内の圧力を40kPaに調整する以外は、実施例2と同様にして昇華工程を実施して酸化タングステン微粒子を作製した。ただし、実施例5のみは実施例2や他の条件より原料投入速度を1.4倍に設定した。さらに、得られた微粒子を実施例3は550℃で1h、実施例4は750℃で1h、実施例5は800℃で0.25hの条件で熱処理を施した。このようにして得られた実施例3〜5の微粒子の粉末特性およびX線回折評価の結果を表1に示す。また、得られた微粒子について、実施例1と同様にしてウイルス力価を評価し、不活化効果Rを求めた。それら結果を表1に示す。
実施例6においては、プラズマに投入する原料としてFeやMo等の不純物が多い酸化タングステン粉末を用いる以外は実施例3と同様の昇華工程と熱処理工程を実施し、Feを500ppm含有する酸化タングステン複合材微粒子を作製した。実施例7では、実施例3で得られた酸化タングステン微粒子に酸化銅(CuO)粉末を0.5質量%混合して複合材微粒子を作製した。実施例8では、実施例3で得られた酸化タングステン微粒子に酸化チタン粉末を10質量%の割合で混合して複合材微粒子を作製した。
実施例14では、実施例3で得られた酸化タングステン微粒子をアルミナゾルに分散させ、この分散液を110℃で12時間乾燥させることによって、アルミナ(Al2O3)を2質量%含有する酸化タングステン複合材微粒子を作製した。実施例15では、実施例3で得られた酸化タングステン微粒子を塩化セリウム水溶液に分散させた。この分散液を遠心分離し、上澄みの除去と水の追加による洗浄を2回行った後、上澄み除去後の粉末を110℃で12時間乾燥させることによって、Ceを0.1質量%含有する酸化タングステン複合材微粒子を作製した。これら微粒子の特性を表1に示す。
試薬等として市販されている酸化タングステン粉末(レアメタリック社製)を用いて、実施例1と同様の測定、評価を行った。粉末特性を表1に示す。さらに、実施例1と同様にしてガラス板上に酸化タングステン微粒子を塗布したが、粒径が著しく大きいために膜を形成することができず、ウイルス力価を評価することはできなかった。
可視光応答型光触媒としての窒素ドープ型酸化チタン粉末を用いて、実施例1と同様にしてウイルス力価を評価した。粉末特性および不活化効果を表1に示す。窒素ドープ型酸化チタン粉末は、照度が6000lxの可視光を24時間照射した後の不活化効果は0.1と小さく、低照度、短時間光照射ではほとんど抗ウイルス性能が得られなかった。
一般に除菌用に使用されているアルコールとウイルスを同時に5×5cmのガラス板に接種し、ウイルス力価の評価を行った。その結果を表1に示す。ウイルスの不活化効果は得られた。しかし、試験に使用したガラス板を再度評価に使用した場合には、不活化効果は得られず、当然のことながらアルコールが揮発した後には効果がなかった。
実施例16においては、実施例3で得られた酸化タングステン微粒子5質量%を、アモルファスZrO20.5質量%と水を混合して分散させて水系塗料を調整した。この水系塗料をセラミックス板に塗布して酸化タングステン複合材膜を形成した。膜厚は約200nmである。このような微粒子膜を具備する部材から5×5cmの試験片を切り出して、微粒子の評価と同様にして抗ウイルス性を評価した。なお、このときの無加工試験片としては、無加工のセラミックス板を用いた。
抗ウイルス性能の持続性を評価するために、実施例14の部材のウイルス力価を成膜直後と通常環境下で6ヶ月保存した後に評価した。不活化効果R(6000lx、24h)はそれぞれ4.5および4.4であり、6ヵ月の保存後においても高い抗ウイルス性が維持されていることが確認された。
Ag系抗菌剤を5×5cmのガラス板に塗布し、ウイルス力価の評価を行った。その結果を表1に示す。高い抗ウイルス性を示した。しかし、Ag系抗菌剤は高価であることに加えて、金属アレルギーを発生する可能性がある。さらに、塗布したガラス板を6ヶ月間放置した後、ウイルス力価の評価を行った結果、不活化効果がほとんどなくなっていた。抗菌剤は、性能の持続期間が短いことが確認された。
実施例3で得られた酸化タングステン微粒子2.5mgを5×5cmのガラス板に塗布して試料を作製する以外は、実施例3と同様にしてウイルス力価を評価した。酸化タングステン微粒子の付着量は0.1mg/cm2であり、このとき形成された膜の膜厚は約50nmである。この結果、照度6000lxの可視光を24時間照射した後の不活化効果Rは1.5であり、塗布量の減少により値は低下したが、抗ウイルス性を有することが確認された。これは酸化タングステン粉末の粒径が小さく、均一な塗布層を形成することが可能であることから、少量の粉末でも高い抗ウイルス性が得られたものと考えられる。
Claims (7)
- 酸化タングステン微粒子および酸化タングステン複合材微粒子から選ばれる少なくとも1種の微粒子を備える抗ウイルス性材料を具備する抗ウイルス性繊維であって、
前記抗ウイルス性材料を構成する前記微粒子の平均一次粒子径(D50)が1nm以上200nm以下の範囲であると共に、前記微粒子のBET比表面積が4.1m2/g以上820m2/g以下の範囲であり、かつ前記微粒子は一次粒子径が40nm以下の粒子を15%以上含み、
前記微粒子は、JIS−R−1702(2006)の光照射下での光触媒抗菌加工製品の抗菌性試験方法・抗菌効果に準じた方法において、0.01mg/cm2以上40mg/cm2以下の範囲で前記微粒子を付着させた試験片に、低病原性鳥インフルエンザウイルス(H9N2)、高病原性鳥インフルエンザウイルス(H5N1)、および豚インフルエンザウイルスから選ばれる少なくとも1種のウイルスを接種し、白色蛍光灯と紫外線カットフィルタを使用して、波長が380nm以上のみで照度が6000lxの可視光を24時間照射した後のウイルス力価を評価したとき、

前記抗ウイルス性繊維は、前記微粒子が0.01mg/cm2以上40mg/cm2以下の範囲で付着された布の形態を有することを特徴とする抗ウイルス性繊維。 - 請求項1記載の抗ウイルス性繊維において、
前記微粒子の前記試験における前記可視光の照射時間を4時間としたときの前記不活化効果Rが0.5以上であることを特徴とする抗ウイルス性繊維。 - 請求項1または請求項2記載の抗ウイルス性繊維において、
前記微粒子はX線回折法で測定したとき、下記の(1)〜(3)のいずれかの条件を満足することを特徴とする抗ウイルス性繊維。
(1)2θが22.5°以上25°以下の範囲に第1ピークのみを有し、半値幅が1°以上である。
(2)2θが22.5°以上25°以下の範囲に第1ピークおよび第2ピークを有し、ピークの谷間の強度が第1のピークの強度比の10%以上である。
(3)2θが22.5°以上25°以下の範囲に第1ピーク、第2ピーク、および第3ピークを有し、各ピークの谷間のうち最も低い谷間の強度が第1のピークの強度比の10%以上である。 - 請求項1ないし請求項3のいずれか1項記載の抗ウイルス性繊維において、
前記酸化タングステン複合材は、遷移金属元素を0.01質量%以上50質量%以下の範囲で含むことを特徴とする抗ウイルス性繊維。 - 請求項1ないし請求項3のいずれか1項記載の抗ウイルス性繊維において、
前記酸化タングステン複合材は、Ti、Zr、Mn、Fe、Pd、Pt、Cu、Ag、Zn、Al、およびCeから選ばれる少なくとも1種の金属元素を0.01質量%以上50質量%以下の範囲で含むことを特徴とする抗ウイルス性繊維。 - 請求項1ないし請求項3のいずれか1項記載の抗ウイルス性繊維において、
前記酸化タングステン複合材は、Cu、Ag、およびZnから選ばれる少なくとも1種の金属元素を0.01質量%以上1質量%以下の範囲で含むことを特徴とする抗ウイルス性繊維。 - 請求項4ないし請求項6のいずれか1項記載の抗ウイルス性繊維において、
前記金属元素は、単体、化合物、および酸化タングステンとの複合化合物から選ばれる少なくとも1種の形態で、前記酸化タングステン複合材に含まれることを特徴とする抗ウイルス性繊維。
