Description
として、CABACが用いられるか、および、CBFが非-ゼロであるか、がテストされる。第四の二条件を満たす場合、デルタQPも伝送される。第三の実施態様によると、第一モードで、各LCUはそれ自身の量子化パラメータを有し、LCUが少なくともひとつの非ゼロ量子化変換係数を有する場合だけ、量子化パラメータ情報が伝送される。第二モードで、各リーフCUはそれ自身の量子化パラメータを有し、リーフCUが少なくともひとつの非ゼロ量子化変換係数を有する場合だけ、量子化パラメータ情報が伝送される。
Claims (15)
- 映像の符号化方法であって、
前記各映像は最大符号化単位(以下、LCUと称す)に分割され、
少なくとも1つのLCUが前記LCUより小さい符号化単位(以下、CUと称す)で分割されることで複数のリーフCUを形成し、
前記方法は、
少なくとも1つの変換単位(以下、TUと称す)を有した現在のリーフCUを受信する工程、
量子化パラメータ最小CUサイズ(以下、QP最小CUサイズと称す)を決定する工程、
前記QP最小CUサイズに対する前記現在のリーフCUのサイズの関係を決定し、かつ、前記少なくとも1つのTUに関連する非ゼロ量子化変換係数を有するか決定する工程、
前記少なくとも1つのTUに関連する非ゼロ量子化変換係数が存在し、かつ、前記現在のリーフCUのサイズが前記QP最小CUサイズと等しいかそれより大きい場合には、ビットストリームの前記現在のリーフCUに第1の量子化パラメータ情報を組み込む工程、及び、
前記少なくとも1つのTUに関連する非ゼロ量子化変換係数が存在し、前記現在のリーフCUのサイズが前記QP最小CUサイズより小さく、かつ、前記現在のリーフCUの親のCUサイズが前記QP最小CUサイズに等しい場合には、前記ビットストリームの前記現在のリーフCUを有した少なくとも2つリーフCUに第2の量子化パラメータ情報を組み込む工程
を含む方法。 - 前記QP最小CUサイズは、シーケンスレベル、画像レベル又はスライスレベルにより示される
請求項1に記載の方法。 - 前記リーフCUが、スライス中における前記LCUの最初のCUである場合には、前記リーフCUのサイズにかかわらず、前記第1の量子化パラメータ情報を前記リーフCUに組み込む工程を含む
請求項1記載の方法。 - 前記少なくとも1つのTUに関連する非ゼロ量子化変換係数を有するか決定する前記工程は、予測モード (以下、PredModeと称す)、符号化ブロックパターン、符号化ブロックフラグ (以下CBFと称す)、又は、これらの組み合わせを確認する工程を含む
請求項1記載の方法。 - 前記QP最小CUサイズは、LCUサイズから生成される
請求項1記載の方法。 - 構文要素(qp_max_depth)は、最大CUから、前記QP最小CUサイズの深さを定義する
ことを特徴とする請求項5記載の方法。 - 前記構文要素(qp_max_depth)は、シーケンスヘッダ、画像ヘッダ、又はスライスヘッダに取り込まれている
ことを特徴とする請求項6記載の方法。 - 映像に対応するビデオビットストリームを復号する方法であって、
前記各映像は最大符号化単位(以下、LCUと称す)に分割され、少なくとも1つのLCUが前記LCUより小さい符号化単位(以下、CUと称す)で分割されることで複数のリーフCUが形成され、
前記方法は、
前記ビデオビットストリームから、複数の変換単位(以下、TUと称す)を有した現在のリーフCUに関連する符号化データを受信する工程、
前記ビデオビットストリームから量子化パラメータ最小CUサイズ(以下、QP最小CUサイズと称す)を決定する工程、
前記ビデオビットストリームから、前記現在のリーフCUのリーフCUサイズを決定する工程、
前記QP最小CUサイズに対する前記現在のリーフCUのサイズの関係を決定し、かつ、前記少なくとも1つのTUに関連する非ゼロ量子化変換係数を有するか決定する工程、
前記少なくとも1つのTUに関連する非ゼロ量子化変換係数が存在し、かつ、前記現在のリーフCUのサイズが前記QP最小CUサイズと等しいかそれより大きい場合には、前記ビデオビットストリームから、前記現在のリーフCUの第1の量子化パラメータ情報を得る工程、及び、
前記少なくとも1つのTUに関連する非ゼロ量子化変換係数が存在し、かつ、前記現在のリーフCUのサイズが前記QP最小CUサイズより小さい場合には、前回受信した量子化パラメータ情報に基づいて、前記現在のリーフCUを有した少なくとも2つのリーフCUの第2の量子化パラメータ情報を決定する工程
を含む方法。 - 前記QP最小CUサイズは、シーケンスレベル、画像レベル又はスライスレベルのうち、少なくとも1つのレベルの最初のフラグにより示される
請求項8に記載の方法。 - 前記リーフCUが、スライス中における前記LCUの最初のCUである場合には、前記リーフCUのサイズにかかわらず、前記ビデオビットストリームから、前記現在のリーフCUのための前記第1の量子化パラメータ情報を取得する工程を含む
請求項8記載の方法。 - 前記現在のリーフCUを有した少なくとも2つのリーフCUの前記第2の量子化パラメータ情報は、少なくとも1つの他のリーフCUの情報から生成される
請求項8記載の方法。 - 前記現在のリーフCUの第1の量子化パラメータ情報は、前記ビデオビットストリームから明示的に取得される
請求項8記載の方法。 - 前記QP最小CUサイズは、LCUサイズから生成される
請求項8記載の方法。 - 前記ビデオビットストリームから前記QP最小CUサイズを決定する工程は、前記ビデオビットストリームから構文要素(qp_max_depth)を決定する工程、及び、前記LCUサイズから前記QP最小CUサイズの深さを特定する前記構文要素(qp_max_depth)を決定する工程を含む
請求項13記載の方法。 - 前記構文要素(qp_max_depth)は、シーケンスヘッダ、画像ヘッダ、又はスライスヘッダに含まれる
