Description
エンジンの出力軸の回転中に前記エンジンの吸気弁と排気弁とを閉状態で停止させることが可能な動弁機構と、前記エンジンと駆動輪との間の動力伝達経路を係合状態と非係合状態との間で切替えることが可能なクラッチと、を備えた車両を制御するように構成された車両の制御装置であって、
前記出力軸の回転中に前記吸気弁と前記排気弁とを閉状態で停止させること、前記エンジンへの燃料の供給を停止すること、前記エンジンのスロットル弁をアイドリング時開度以下に制御すること、及び、前記クラッチを係合状態にして前記エンジンのピストンを前記出力軸を介して前記駆動輪からの回転力によって駆動すること、を含む弁停止惰性走行を実行するように構成された第1制御部と、
前記出力軸の回転中に前記吸気弁と前記排気弁とを動作させること、及び、前記エンジンへ燃料を供給すること、を含む弁動作走行を実行するように構成された第2制御部と、
前記出力軸の回転中に前記吸気弁と前記排気弁とを動作させること、及び、前記スロットル弁をアイドリング時開度以下に制御すること、を含む過渡走行を実行し、これによって前記スロットル弁と前記吸気弁との間の吸気通路区間に負圧を供給するように構成された過渡制御部と、
を備え、
弁停止惰性走行要求があった場合に、前記第1制御部が前記弁停止惰性走行を実行し、前記弁停止惰性走行の実行中に解除要求があった場合に、前記過渡制御部が前記過渡走行を実行し、その後に、前記第2制御部が前記弁動作走行を実行するように更に構成されていることを特徴とする車両の制御装置である。
前記過渡制御部は、前記吸気通路区間の圧力が、予め定められた基準圧力よりも低くなるまでにわたり、前記過渡走行を実行するように構成されていることを特徴とする。
前記過渡走行の実行中に、前記吸気通路区間の圧力が前記基準圧力より低くない場合であっても、前記解除要求からの経過時間が、予め定められた基準時間を超過した場合には、前記第2制御部が前記弁動作走行を実行するように構成されていることを特徴とする。
前記動弁機構は前記吸気弁と前記排気弁との動作タイミングを制御可能に構成されており、
前記制御装置は、前記過渡走行の実行中に、以下の(1)ないし(4)の少なくともいずれかを実行するように構成されていることを特徴とする。
(1)前記吸気弁と前記排気弁とがいずれも開いているバルブオーバーラップ量を、要求負荷とエンジン回転数とに基づいて定められるバルブオーバーラップ量よりも小さくすること。
(2)前記吸気弁の開きタイミングを、要求負荷とエンジン回転数とに基づいて定められる前記吸気弁の開きタイミングに比べて、排気上死点に近づけること。
(3)前記吸気弁の閉じタイミングを、要求負荷とエンジン回転数とに基づいて定められる前記吸気弁の閉じタイミングに比べて、排気下死点に近づけること。
(4)前記排気弁の閉じタイミングを、要求負荷とエンジン回転数とに基づいて定められる前記排気弁の閉じタイミングに比べて、排気上死点に近づけること。
前記制御装置は、前記弁動作走行の開始後に、前記エンジンのスロットル弁の開度の時間あたりの変化量が、予め定められた閾値よりも小さくなるようにガード処理を実行するように更に構成されていることを特徴とする。
(1)吸気弁と排気弁とのバルブオーバーラップを禁止するか、あるいは、弁動作運転の実行中におけるバルブオーバーラップ量(期間ないしクランク角区間)よりも小さくすること。
(2)吸気弁の開きタイミングを、排気上死点(TDC)にするか、あるいは、弁動作運転の実行中における吸気弁の開きタイミングに比べて、排気上死点(TDC)に近づけること。
(3)吸気弁の閉じタイミングを、排気下死点(BDC)にするか、あるいは、弁動作運転の実行中における吸気弁の閉じタイミングに比べて、排気下死点(BDC)に近づけること。
(4)排気弁の閉じタイミングを、排気上死点(TDC)にするか、あるいは、弁動作運転の実行中における排気弁の閉じタイミングに比べて、排気上死点(TDC)に近づけること。

Claims (5)
- エンジンの出力軸の回転中に前記エンジンの吸気弁と排気弁とを閉状態で停止させることが可能な動弁機構と、前記エンジンと駆動輪との間の動力伝達経路を係合状態と非係合状態との間で切替えることが可能なクラッチと、を備えた車両を制御するように構成された車両の制御装置であって、
前記出力軸の回転中に前記吸気弁と前記排気弁とを閉状態で停止させること、前記エンジンへの燃料の供給を停止すること、前記エンジンのスロットル弁をアイドリング時開度以下に制御すること、及び、前記クラッチを係合状態にして前記エンジンのピストンを前記出力軸を介して前記駆動輪からの回転力によって駆動すること、を含む弁停止惰性走行を実行するように構成された第1制御部と、
前記出力軸の回転中に前記吸気弁と前記排気弁とを動作させること、及び、前記エンジンへ燃料を供給すること、を含む弁動作走行を実行するように構成された第2制御部と、
前記出力軸の回転中に前記吸気弁と前記排気弁とを動作させること、及び、前記スロットル弁をアイドリング時開度以下に制御すること、を含む過渡走行を実行し、これによって前記スロットル弁と前記吸気弁との間の吸気通路区間に負圧を供給するように構成された過渡制御部と、
を備え、
弁停止惰性走行要求があった場合に、前記第1制御部が前記弁停止惰性走行を実行し、前記弁停止惰性走行の実行中に解除要求があった場合に、前記過渡制御部が前記過渡走行を実行し、その後に、前記第2制御部が前記弁動作走行を実行するように更に構成されていることを特徴とする車両の制御装置。 - 請求項1に記載の車両の制御装置であって、
前記過渡制御部は、前記吸気通路区間の圧力が、予め定められた基準圧力よりも低くなるまでにわたり、前記過渡走行を実行するように構成されていることを特徴とする車両の制御装置。 - 請求項2に記載の車両の制御装置であって、
前記過渡走行の実行中に、前記吸気通路区間の圧力が前記基準圧力より低くない場合であっても、前記解除要求からの経過時間が、予め定められた基準時間を超過した場合には、前記第2制御部が前記弁動作走行を実行するように構成されていることを特徴とする車両の制御装置。 - 請求項1ないし3のいずれか一項に記載の車両の制御装置であって、
前記動弁機構は前記吸気弁と前記排気弁との動作タイミングを制御可能に構成されており、
前記制御装置は、前記過渡走行の実行中に、以下の(1)ないし(4)の少なくともいずれかを実行するように構成されていることを特徴とする車両の制御装置。
(1)前記吸気弁と前記排気弁とがいずれも開いているバルブオーバーラップ量を、要求負荷とエンジン回転数とに基づいて定められるバルブオーバーラップ量よりも小さくすること。
(2)前記吸気弁の開きタイミングを、要求負荷とエンジン回転数とに基づいて定められる前記吸気弁の開きタイミングに比べて、排気上死点に近づけること。
(3)前記吸気弁の閉じタイミングを、要求負荷とエンジン回転数とに基づいて定められる前記吸気弁の閉じタイミングに比べて、排気下死点に近づけること。
(4)前記排気弁の閉じタイミングを、要求負荷とエンジン回転数とに基づいて定められる前記排気弁の閉じタイミングに比べて、排気上死点に近づけること。 - 請求項1ないし4のいずれか一項に記載の車両の制御装置であって、
前記制御装置は、前記弁動作走行の開始後に、前記エンジンのスロットル弁の開度の時間あたりの変化量が、予め定められた閾値よりも小さくなるようにガード処理を実行するように更に構成されていることを特徴とする車両の制御装置。
