端子金具を収容するとともにその奥部の外周面に前記シールリングが嵌着される端子収容部と、この端子収容部の外側を取り囲むようにして形成され前記端子収容部との間に前記フード部が嵌合可能な嵌合空間が保有される外筒部とからなるコネクタハウジングと、
前記コネクタハウジングに取付けられ、前記シールリングに係止して前記シールリングの抜け止めを行うストッパ部材とを備え、
前記ストッパ部材には、前記端子収容部が前記フード部内に嵌合されたときに、前記フード部の内周面に密着するがた詰め部が形成されており、
前記シールリングに径方向に沿って貫通する差し込み孔が形成される一方、前記がた詰め部には前記差し込み孔へ差し込まれてその先端が前記端子収容部の外周面に突き当てられる突き当て部が形成されていることを特徴とする防水コネクタ。
