Description
これに関連して、大部分が窒化クロムからなる硬質材料をベースにしたPVDコーティングも知られている。そのような層は、摩耗に対する必要な耐性を備えているが、要求される低い摩擦係数を備えていない。
特に良好な特性をこれらの材料の場合に確認できた。
本発明によるコーティングの特性を以下のように確認した。テストは、滑り面のコーティングの最上層に対して1つの場合はドーピングを施し、他の実施形態ではドーピングを施さずに2つのピストンリングを用いて行った。
Claims (14)
- 内側から外方へ、接着材層(10)と、金属を含有するDLC層(12)と、少なくともいくつかの領域に窒素でドーピングを施した無金属のDLC層(14、16)とを含むコーティングを少なくとも1つの面に施した摺動要素において、
前記摺動要素は、ピストンリングであり、
前記無金属のDLC層は、窒素がドープされた層と、前記窒素がドープされた層の下に窒素がドープされていない層とを有し、前記窒素がドープされた層と前記窒素がドープされていない層との間の比較的狭い範囲の境界領域において、窒素のドープ濃度が急峻に変化している、ことを特徴とする摺動要素。 - 前記金属を含有するDLC層(12)は、金属としてタングステンを含有することを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の摺動要素。
- 前記摺動要素は、母材として鋳鉄または鋼を含むことを特徴とする、請求項1または2に記載の摺動要素。
- 前記無金属のDLC層の硬度は、1400HV0.02〜2900HV0.02であり、および/または、前記金属を含有するDLC層の硬度は、800〜1600HV0.02であることを特徴とする、請求項1から3のうちのいずれか1項に記載の摺動要素。
- 前記金属を含有するDLC層および/または前記無金属のDLC層は、水素を含むことを特徴とする、請求項1から4のうちのいずれか1項に記載の摺動要素。
- タングステンを含有する前記DLC層は、ナノ結晶タングステンカーバイド析出物を含むことを特徴とする、請求項2に記載の摺動要素。
- 前記接着材層の厚みは、最大1μmであることを特徴とする、請求項1から6のうちのいずれか1項に記載の摺動要素。
- 前記接着剤層はクロム接着材層であることを特徴とする、請求項7に記載の摺動要素。
- 前記コーティングの総厚は、5μm〜40μmであることを特徴とする、請求項1から8のうちのいずれか1項に記載の摺動要素。
- 前記金属を含有するDLC層の厚みに対する前記無金属のDLC層の厚みの比率は、0.7〜1.5であり、および/または、前記コーティングの総厚に対する前記無金属のDLC層の厚みの比率は、0.4〜0.6であることを特徴とする、請求項1から9のうちのいずれか1項に記載の摺動要素。
- 前記無金属のDLC層の窒素含有量は、5at%から40at%であることを特徴とする、請求項1から10のうちのいずれか1項に記載の摺動要素。
- 前記無金属のDLC層の窒素含有量は10at%から25at%であることを特徴とする、請求項11に記載の摺動要素。
- 前記無金属のDLC層の窒素がドープされた層は、前記無金属のDLC層の最上層である、ことを特徴とする、請求項1から12のうちのいずれか1項に記載の摺動要素。
- 前記無金属のDLC層の、前記窒素がドープされた層の厚みは、前記窒素がドープされていない層の厚みの10〜90%であることを特徴とする、請求項1から13のうちのいずれか1項に記載の摺動要素。
