Claims (11)
- 被検体に挿入される挿入物であって、光源からの光を導光する導光部材と該導光部材から出射した光を吸収して光音響波を発生する光音響波発生部とを有する挿入物から発せられた光音響波を検出する光音響波検出手段と、
前記光音響波の検出信号に基づいて光音響画像を生成する光音響画像生成手段と、
前記音響波検出手段の姿勢を変化させて複数の姿勢で光音響波の検出を行うピーク検索モードと、光音響画像の表示を行うノーマルモードとを設定するモード設定手段と、
ピーク探索モード時に、複数の姿勢で検出された光音響波の検出信号に基づく複数の光音響画像に基づいて、該複数の光音響画像のうち、検出された光音響波の検出信号が最も強い光音響画像を特定するピーク特定手段と、
ノーマルモード時に、前記光音響画像の生成元の光音響波の検出時の前記音響波検出手段の姿勢が、前記ピーク特定手段で特定された光音響画像の生成元の光音響波の検出時の前記音響波検出手段の姿勢に一致するか否かを判断する姿勢判断手段と、
表示画面上に前記光音響画像を表示させ、かつ、前記姿勢判断手段にて一致すると判断されたときに、該一致する旨を表示画面上に表示させる表示制御手段とを備えた光音響信号処理装置。 - 前記音響波検出手段の基準方向に対する角度を検出する姿勢検出手段を更に備え、
前記ピーク特定手段は、前記特定した光音響画像の生成元の光音響波の検出時の前記音響波検出手段の角度を記憶し、
前記姿勢判断手段は、前記記憶された角度と、前記光音響画像の生成元の光音響波の検出時に前記姿勢検出手段で検出された前記音響波検出手段の角度とを比較することで、前記光音響画像の生成元の光音響波の検出時の前記音響波検出手段の姿勢が、前記ピーク特定手段で特定された光音響画像の生成元の光音響波の検出時の前記音響波検出手段の姿勢に一致するか否かを判断する請求項1に記載の光音響信号処理装置。 - 前記表示制御手段は、前記光音響画像の生成元の光音響波の検出時の前記音響波検出手段の基準方向に対する角度が、前記記憶された角度よりも大きいときは前記挿入物が第1の方向にずれている旨を表示画面上に表示させ、小さいときは挿入物が第1の方向とは反対側の第2の方向にずれている旨を表示画面上に表示させる請求項2に記載の光音響信号処理装置。
- 前記姿勢判断手段は、前記光音響画像生成手段で生成された光音響画像の画素値と、前記ピーク特定手段で特定された光音響画像の画素値とを比較し、前記光音響画像の生成元の光音響波の検出時の前記音響波検出手段の姿勢が、前記ピーク特定手段で特定された光音響画像の生成元の光音響波の検出時の前記音響波検出手段の姿勢に一致するか否かを判断する請求項1に記載の光音響信号処理装置。
- 前記ピーク特定手段は、前記複数の光音響画像のそれぞれについて画素値の最大値を求め、求めた画素値の最大値同士を比較し、最も画素値が大きい画素を有する光音響画像を、検出された光音響波の検出信号が最も強い光音響画像として特定する請求項1から4何れか1項に記載の光音響信号処理装置。
- 前記ピーク特定手段は、前記複数の光音響画像のそれぞれについて複数の画素の画素値の合計を求め、該求めた画素値の合計が最も大きい光音響画像を、光音響波の検出信号が最も強い光音響画像として特定する請求項1から4何れか1項に記載の光音響信号処理装置。
- 前記ピーク特定手段は、各光音響画像内に設定された関心領域内の画素の画素値の合計を求める請求項6に記載の光音響信号処理装置。
- 前記ピーク特定手段は、前記複数の光音響画像の生成元の光音響波の検出時に前記姿勢検出手段が検出した角度と、前記複数の光音響画像のそれぞれにおける画素値の最大値又は画素値の合計値との関係に基づいて、画素値又は画素値の合計が最大となる角度を推定し、該推定した角度で前記光音響波の検出が行われたときに生成される光音響画像を、検出された光音響波の検出信号が最も強い光音響画像として特定し、前記推定された角度を、検出された光音響波の検出信号が最も強くなる前記音響波検出手段の角度として記憶する請求項2又は3に記載の光音響信号処理装置。
- 前記音響波検出手段は、一次元的に配列された複数の検出器素子を含んでおり、
前記ピーク検索モードでは、前記検出器素子が配列された方向と直交する方向の傾きを変化させる請求項1から8何れか1項に記載の光音響信号処理装置。 - 光源と、
被検体に挿入される挿入物であって、光源からの光を導光する導光部材と該導光部材から出射した光を吸収して光音響波を発生する光音響波発生部とを有する挿入物と、
前記挿入物から発せられた光音響波を検出する光音響波検出手段と、
前記光音響波の検出信号に基づいて光音響画像を生成する光音響画像生成手段と、
前記音響波検出手段の姿勢を変化させて複数の姿勢で光音響波の検出を行うピーク検索モードと、光音響画像の表示を行うノーマルモードとを設定するモード設定手段と、
ピーク探索モード時に、複数の姿勢で検出された光音響波の検出信号に基づく複数の光音響画像に基づいて、該複数の光音響画像のうち、検出された光音響波の検出信号が最も強い光音響画像を特定するピーク特定手段と、
ノーマルモード時に、前記光音響画像の生成元の光音響波の検出時の前記音響波検出手段の姿勢が、前記ピーク特定手段で特定された光音響画像の生成元の光音響波の検出時の前記音響波検出手段の姿勢に一致するか否かを判断する姿勢判断手段と、
表示画面上に前記光音響画像を表示させ、かつ、前記姿勢判断手段にて一致すると判断されたときに、該一致する旨を表示させる表示制御手段とを備えた光音響信号処理システム。 - 被検体に挿入される挿入物であって、光源からの光を導光する導光部材と該導光部材から出射した光を吸収して光音響波を発生する光音響波発生部とを有する挿入物から発せられた光音響波を、音響波検出手段の姿勢を変化させつつ検出するステップと、
前記変化させられた複数の姿勢で検出された光音響波の検出信号に基づいて複数の光音響画像を生成するステップと、
前記複数の光音響画像に基づいて、該複数の光音響画像のうち、検出された光音響波の検出信号が最も強い光音響画像を特定するステップと、
前記挿入物から発せられた光音響波を検出するステップと、
前記光音響波の検出信号に基づいて光音響画像を生成するステップと、
前記光音響波の検出時の前記音響波検出手段の姿勢が、前記特定された光音響画像の生成元の光音響波の検出時の前記音響波検出手段の姿勢に一致するか否かを判断するステップと、
表示画面上に前記光音響画像を表示させ、かつ、前記判断するステップで一致すると判断されたときに、該一致する旨を表示画面上に表示させるステップとを有する光音響信号処理方法。
