Claims (2)
- 二酸化炭素を含むアノード排ガスを発生する燃料電池と、
該燃料電池の前段に配設され、該燃料電池のアノード排ガスに含まれる二酸化炭素を利用して、炭化水素系の原料ガスを二酸化炭素改質し、一酸化炭素と水素を含む合成ガスを生成させる二酸化炭素改質器と
を有する燃料電池システムにおいて、
燃料電池システムの起動時に原料ガスを部分改質して該燃料電池に供給する部分改質器を備えた燃料電池システムであって、
前記部分改質器からのガスが前記二酸化炭素改質器を通って前記燃料電池に供給可能とされており、
原料ガスを部分改質器に供給し、燃料電池システムの起動時に空気を前記部分改質器に供給し、燃料電池のアノード排ガスを二酸化炭素改質器に供給せず、
前記燃料電池のアノード排ガス温度が所定温度以上となり、且つ燃料電池の単位時間当りのCO 2 排出量が、単位時間当りに燃料電池システムに導入される炭化水素ガスの反応当量以上となったときに、部分改質器への空気供給を停止し、アノード排ガスを二酸化炭素改質器に供給することを特徴とする燃料電池システム。 - 請求項1において、
空気の前記部分改質器への供給と供給停止とを切り替えるための空気切替手段と、前記燃料電池のアノード排ガスの該二酸化炭素改質器の供給と供給停止とを切り替えるためのアノード排ガス切替手段と
を備えたことを特徴とする燃料電池システム。
