Description
本出願は、2003年2月4日に出願された、発明者David W.Baarmanの「適応誘導結合安定回路」という名称の米国仮特許出願第60/444,794号に基づく優先権を主張するものである。前記出願の全開示が、引用により本出願に組み入れられる。本出願は、1999年6月21日に出願された「誘導結合安定器を持つ水処理システム」という名称の米国仮特許出願第60/140,159号の35U.S.C §119(e)、及び1999年6月21日に出願された「使用の点での水処理システム」という名称の米国仮特許出願第60/140,090号に基づく優先権を主張する、2000年6月12日に出願された「流体処理システム」という名称の米国特許出願第09/592,194号、の一部継続出願である、2002年6月18日に出願された、「流体処理システム」という名称の米国特許出願第10/175,095号の一部継続出願である。
遠隔装置は、中央演算処理装置に置かれた送受信機と通信する。しかしながら、CEETとアクチュエータとの間の直接通信は、提供されない。
遠隔装置は、制御装置に電力情報を送る。次に、制御装置は、電力情報に応じて、共振回路の動作を変更する。このように、制御装置は、遠隔装置での作動のための電源を厳密に較正して、非接触電源から遠隔装置への高効率の電力伝達を提供することが出来る。
マイクロプロセッサは、様々な供給業者から広く入手できる従来のマイクロプロセッサである。
ネットワーク308は、LAN(ローカルエリアネットワーク)、又はインターネットとすることができるであろう。
ステップ410。例えば、遠隔装置338は、充電式バッテリを持つことができるであろう。その充電式バッテリが完全に充電された時、遠隔装置338は、もはや電力を必要としないであろう。従って、そのステータスは、「充電」から「オフ」に変わるであろう。装置のステータスが変わる場合には、遠隔装置リストが更新される。ステップ412。
Claims (28)
- 非接触電源に近接して存在する複数の遠隔装置に誘導的に電力を供給するための非接触電源において、
誘導結合によって、電力を前記複数の遠隔装置に伝達するための一次巻線を持つ共振回路と、
前記共振回路と誘導結合される前記複数の遠隔装置から電力情報を受信するための受信機と、
前記受信機及び前記共振回路に結合される制御装置であって、前記複数の遠隔装置のうちの1以上の遠隔装置の付加、除去及びステータス変化のうち少なくとも1つに応じて、前記非接触電源を適応させるための制御装置と
を備え、
前記制御装置は、前記非接触電源が、該非接触電源に近接して存在する前記複数の遠隔装置の全てに電力を供給するように構成できるかを判断するようにプログラムされ、
前記複数の遠隔装置の全てに電力を供給するように構成できるとの判断に基づいて、前記制御装置は、前記非接触電源に近接して存在する前記複数の遠隔装置の全てに同時に電力を供給するために前記非接触電源に対する1以上の設定を算出するようにプログラムされ、
前記制御装置は、前記共振回路と誘導結合される前記複数の遠隔装置から受信した前記電力情報に応じて、前記非接触電源に対する前記1以上の設定を算出するようにプログラムされ、
前記制御装置は、前記複数の遠隔装置から受信した前記電力情報によって算出された前記1以上の設定に基づいて前記共振回路からの電力伝送を制御するようにプログラムされたことを特徴とする非接触電源。 - 電源に結合されたインバータを含み、
前記1以上の設定は、前記電源のレール電圧、前記インバータの動作周波数、前記インバータのデューティサイクル、前記共振回路の共振周波数のうち少なくとも1つを含むこと
を特徴とする請求項1に記載の非接触電源。 - 前記非接触電源は、該非接触電源への負荷の付加又は除去に、絶えず適応することで、高効率のままであること
を特徴とする請求項1に記載の非接触電源。 - 前記非接触電源は、前記一次巻線をその可能最高電流値で駆動させないこと
を特徴とする請求項1に記載の非接触電源。 - 前記非接触電源は、前記共振回路の電力出力を前記複数の遠隔装置の電力要求と一致させること
を特徴とする請求項1に記載の非接触電源。 - 前記非接触電源は、全電力が要求されないときに、電力を減らすこと
を特徴とする請求項1に記載の非接触電源。 - 前記電力情報は、前記複数の遠隔装置についての電圧又は電流に関する実際の情報を含むこと
を特徴とする請求項1に記載の非接触電源。 - 前記電力情報は、前記複数の遠隔装置についての電力要求に関する情報を含むこと
を特徴とする請求項1に記載の非接触電源。 - 前記電力情報は、前記複数の遠隔装置の各々についてのIDを含み、
前記制御装置は、メモリ内に含まれる表から、前記複数の遠隔装置の各々についての電力要求をルックアップできること
を特徴とする請求項1に記載の非接触電源。 - 前記制御装置は、前記複数の遠隔装置に二次巻線の可変インピーダンスを所望のレベルにセットするように指示すること
を特徴とする請求項1に記載の非接触電源。 - 前記制御装置は、電力使用を変更する前記1以上の遠隔装置に応じて前記非接触電源を適応させること
を特徴とする請求項1に記載の非接触電源。 - 前記制御装置は、前記非接触電源が電力を前記複数の遠隔装置に供給する場合に、1以上の設定を動的に調整するようにプログラムされたこと
を特徴とする請求項1に記載の非接触電源。 - 前記複数の遠隔装置への電力の伝送を前記制御装置のために止めて、前記1以上の設定を調整すること
を特徴とする請求項12に記載の非接触電源。 - 前記非接触電源を適応させることは、前記受信した電力情報に応じて、前記非接触電源についての1以上の設定を算出することを含むこと
を特徴とする請求項1に記載の非接触電源。 - 前記1以上の遠隔装置のステータス変化は、前記1以上の遠隔装置のバッテリが完全に充電されたことを含むこと
を特徴とする請求項1に記載の非接触電源。 - 前記制御装置は、前記算出された1以上の設定に加えて、1以上の設定をセットするようにプログラムされたこと
を特徴とする請求項1に記載の非接触電源。 - 非接触電源に近接して存在する複数の遠隔装置に誘導的に電力を供給するための非接触電源を作動させる方法であって、
電力情報のために前記複数の遠隔装置をポーリングするステップと、
前記複数の遠隔装置の数が変わったかどうかを判断するステップと、
前記非接触電源に近接して存在する前記複数の遠隔装置の全てに電力を供給できるかを判断するステップと、
前記複数の遠隔装置の全てに電力を供給するように構成できるとの判断に基づいて、前記非接触電源に近接して存在する前記複数の遠隔装置の全てに同時に電力を供給するために前記非接触電源に対する1以上の設定を算出するステップであって、前記1以上の設定を算出ことは、前記複数の遠隔装置のうち2以上から受信した前記電力情報に応じて、1以上の設定を算出することを含む、ステップと、
前記複数の遠隔装置から受信した前記電力情報によって、前記算出された1以上の設定に基づいて、誘導的に電力を供給するに前記非接触電源を作動させるステップと
を含むことを特徴とする方法。 - 前記1以上の設定を算出するステップは、レール電圧についての設定を算出すること、動作周波数についての設定を算出すること、デューティサイクルについての設定を算出すること、及び、共振周波数についての設定を算出することの少なくとも1つを含むこと
を特徴とする請求項17に記載の方法。 - 前記非接触電源は、該非接触電源への負荷の付加又は除去に、絶えず適応することで、高効率のままであること
を特徴とする請求項17に記載の方法。 - 前記非接触電源は、一次巻線をその可能最高電流値で駆動させないこと
を特徴とする請求項17に記載の方法。 - 前記非接触電源は、電力出力を前記複数の遠隔装置の電力要求と一致させること

前記複数の遠隔装置の少なくとも1つの電力使用が変わったとの判断に応えて、前記電力情報に応じて、1以上の設定を算出するステップと
を含むことを特徴とする請求項17に記載の方法。 - 前記算出するステップは、前記非接触電源が電力を前記複数の遠隔装置に供給する場合に、1以上の設定を算出することを含むこと
を特徴とする請求項17に記載の方法。 - 前記複数の遠隔装置に供給するために前記算出された1以上の設定を用いるように前記非接触電源を適応させるために、前記複数の遠隔装置への電力の伝送を止めること
を特徴とする請求項25に記載の方法。 - 前記複数の遠隔装置のうちの少なくとも1つの遠隔装置のステータス変化を判断するステップを更に含み、
前記ステータス変化は、前記少なくとも1つの遠隔装置のバッテリが完全に充電されたことを含むこと
を特徴とする請求項17に記載の方法。 - 前記電力を供給するステップは、前記算出された1以上の設定に加えて、1以上の設定を用いて、前記非接触電源から前記複数の遠隔装置に電力を供給すること
を特徴とする請求項17に記載の方法。
