Claims (7)
- ハウジング(102)であって、前記ハウジングを画定するように嵌合可能なキャリア(104)及びシールド(106)を含み、前記キャリアが端子チャネル(142)及び前記端子チャネル内に延出する端子ラッチ(144)を有し、前記シールドが前記シールドの一面を通る引込チャネル(180)を有するハウジング(102)と、
対応する端子チャネルに収容される端子(108)であって、前記端子ラッチによって前記端子チャネル内に保持される端子(108)と
を備える電気コネクタ(100)であって、
前記キャリア及び前記シールドが、ブリッジ(120)により接続された単一ピースであり、
前記ブリッジは、前記シールドの前記キャリアへの結合を可能にするために組立中に破壊可能であり、
前記シールドが前記キャリアと嵌合させる時に前記引込チャネルが前記端子チャネルと整列されて前記端子チャネルの前方に配置され、
前記引込チャネルは相手コンタクトが前記端子チャネル内に保持された前記端子と嵌合するように相手コンタクトを案内し、
前記キャリア(104)は、固定機能部(148)が設けられたガイド機能部(146)を含み、
前記シールド(106)は、前記キャリアの前記ガイド機能部と整列され前記キャリアの前記ガイド機能部と係合し固定機能部(168)が設けられたガイド機能部(166)を含んで前記シールドと前記キャリアの嵌合を案内し、
前記ブリッジ(120)が前記シールドの前記ガイド機能部と前記キャリアの前記ガイド機能部との間に延在する電気コネクタ。 - 前記キャリア(104)が正面(130)、背面(132)、内側端部(134)、外側端部(136)及び両側面(138,140)を含み、
前記シールド(106)が正面(150)、背面(152)、内側端部(154)、外側端部(156)及び両側面(158,160)を含み、
前記キャリア及び前記シールドの前記内側端部が互いに対向し、
前記ブリッジ(120)が前記キャリアと前記シールドの前記内側端部同士間に延在する請求項1に記載の電気コネクタ。 - 前記キャリア(104)が正面(130)、背面(132)、内側端部(134)、外側端部(136)及び両側面(138,140)を含み、
前記シールドが正面(150)、背面(152)、内側端部(154)、外側端部(156)及び両側面(158,160)を含み、
前記キャリアの前記外側端部が、前記ハウジング(102)の上面を画定する向きに配置され、
前記シールドの前記外側端部が前記ハウジング(102)の底面を画定する向きに配置され、
前記ブリッジ(120)が前記内側端部間に延在し、
前記キャリアが前記シールドに嵌合する時前記キャリアの前記内側端部が前記シールドに押圧可能である請求項1に記載の電気コネクタ。 - 前記シールド(106)が、前記引込チャネル(180)の内側に前記引込チャネルと整列されたクレードル(184)を含み、
前記クレードルが対応する端子(108)の嵌合端部(200)を収容して前記端子を前記引込チャネルと整列させる請求項1に記載の電気コネクタ。 - 前記シールド(106)が正面(150)、背面(152)、内側端部(154)、外側端部(156)及び両側面(158,160)を含み、
前記シールド(106)が、前記引込チャネル(180)の内側に前記引込チャネルと整列されたクレードル(184)を含み、
前記クレードルが、前記シールドの前記外側端部、前記内側端部、及び前記両側面に向かう前記端子の移動を規制するために前記端子と係合するクレードル壁(186,188)を有する請求項1に記載の電気コネクタ。 - 前記キャリア(104)が前記固定機能部(148)を含み、
前記シールドが前記固定機能部(168)を含み、
前記固定機能部の一方が突出部(176)を備え、
前記固定機能部の他方が前記突出部と係合する掛止部(240)を備え、
前記掛止部が凹状係止面を有する請求項1に記載の電気コネクタ。 - 前記キャリア(104)が前記固定機能部(148)を含み、
前記シールド(106)が前記固定機能部(168)を含み、
前記固定機能部の一方が、前記ハウジング(102)から遠い外側係止面(244)及び前記外側係止面(248)の内側の内側係止面(246)によって画定される凹状係止面を含み、
前記内側係止面が前記外側係止面に対して傾斜する請求項1に記載の電気コネクタ。
