Description
図1は、第1の実施の形態に係る車両用前照灯の水平断面図である。図2は、図1に示す車両用前照灯の要部を示す正面図である。車両用前照灯10は、自動車の前端部の右側に搭載される右側前照灯であり、左側に搭載される前照灯と左右対称である以外は同じ構造である。そのため、以下では、右側の車両用前照灯10について詳述し、左側の車両用前照灯については説明を省略する。
前述の光源29は、複数のLED28で構成されているが、所望の照射性能を満たすことができれば一つのLED28で構成されていてもよい。また、光源は、発光素子と蛍光体とを組み合わせた白色LEDでもよい。また、光源は、発光色の異なる複数種の発光素子を有してもよい。これにより、同一色の発光素子のみでは実現できない色の光で前方を走査できる。また、光源は、複数の発光素子として、赤色発光素子(R素子)、緑色発光素子(G素子)および青色発光素子(B素子)を含んでもよい。これにより、白色の光で前方を走査できる。また、蛍光体を用いずに白色光を実現できるため、光源の光を照明に効率よく利用することができる。なお、白色光を実現するためには、青色発光素子と黄色発光素子の組合せ、または、シアン発光素子とマゼンタ発光素子との組合せであってもよい。
図8は、第2の実施の形態に係る車両用前照灯の水平断面図である。図9は、図8に示す車両用前照灯の要部を示す正面図である。
Claims (4)
- 光源と、
前記光源から出射した光が後方から入射し照射ビームとして前方へ出射するレンズと、
当該レンズの前方に配置された投影レンズと、を備え、
前記レンズは、その周期的な動きにより、光源の虚像の位置を移動させ、該虚像の位置の移動により投影イメージを移動させることにより、前方が前記照射ビームで走査されて所定の照射領域を形成するように構成されており、
前記光源は、レンズの動きの周期における一部の位相範囲において光度が変化するように構成されていることを特徴とする車両用灯具用の光学ユニット。 - 前記レンズは、駆動部と接続される回転軸を中心に回転するとともに、光源から出射した光が通過する際に屈折する方向が周期的に変化するように構成されていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の車両用灯具用の光学ユニット。
- 前記光源は、複数の発光素子を有する光源を更に備え、
前記複数の発光素子は、発光色の異なる複数種の発光素子を含むことを特徴とする請求項1または2に記載の車両用灯具用の光学ユニット。 - 前記複数の発光素子は、赤色発光素子、緑色発光素子および青色発光素子を含むことを特徴とする請求項3に記載の車両用灯具用の光学ユニット。
