Claims (5)
- ガス供給口を有するエアバッグ本体と、
前記ガス供給口を通じて前記エアバッグ本体内にガスを供給するインフレータと、
前記エアバッグ本体に設けられた開口部に配設される排気状態切替部材と、
一端部が前記排気状態切替部材に連結されると共に、他端部が前記エアバッグ本体の内周部の一部に連結される連結部材と、
を備え、
前記排気状態切替部材は、前記開口部を介して前記エアバッグ本体外に導出された初期状態では前記エアバッグ本体内のガスを排気可能にする排気状態であり、前記エアバッグが膨張したことで前記連結部材により前記エアバッグ本体内に引込まれるときに、前記排気状態から前記エアバッグ本体内のガスの排気を抑制する非排気状態に切り替えられるものであり、
前記エアバッグ本体に形成され、前記排気状態における前記排気状態切替部材の排気速度よりも小さい排気速度でガスを排出するベントホールをさらに備え、
前記エアバッグ本体の内周部に、前記連結部材をその長手方向に沿って移動可能に支持する環状中継部が設けられ、前記エアバッグ本体の膨張状態において、前記連結部材が前記環状中継部を経由して曲るように配設され、
前記開口部と、前記連結部材の前記他端部と、前記環状中継部とが、前記エアバッグ本体の膨張形態のうち、そのエアバッグ本体が正規姿勢状態の乗員を受け止める際にその乗員との接触部分を避けた部分に設けられ、
さらに、前記環状中継部は、膨張初期段階での非正規姿勢の乗員との接触部分に設けられている、エアバッグ装置。 - 請求項1記載のエアバッグ装置であって、
前記開口部と、前記連結部材の前記他端部と、前記環状中継部とが、前記エアバッグ本体の膨張形態のうち、そのエアバッグ本体が正規姿勢状態の乗員を受け止める際に変形する部分を避けた部分に設けられている、エアバッグ装置。 - 請求項1又は請求項2記載のエアバッグ装置であって、
前記開口部と、前記連結部材の前記他端部と、前記環状中継部とが、車両組付状態から膨張する前記エアバッグ本体の膨張形態のうち、車両の前後方向に2分割した車両基準の前半部分に設けられている、エアバッグ装置。 - 請求項1〜請求項3のいずれか1つに記載のエアバッグ装置であって、
前記エアバッグ本体の膨張形態の一側部に前記排気状態切替部材が設けられ、前記エアバッグ本体の膨張形態の上部又は前部に前記環状中継部が設けられ、前記連結部材の他端部が前記環状中継部を経由して前記エアバッグ本体の膨張形態の他側部の内周部に連結されている、エアバッグ装置。 - 請求項1〜請求項4のいずれか1つに記載のエアバッグ装置であって、
基端部が前記エアバッグ本体の外周部に連結されると共に、先端部が前記ガス供給口とは反対側に向けて前記エアバッグ本体に覆い被さるように延在するフラップをさらに備えるエアバッグ装置。
