Claims (5)
- ドアハンドルへの人体の接触を検知する静電容量方式の接触検知装置であって、
前記ドアハンドルの内部に配置された互いに対向する第1の電極および第2の電極、
駆動検出端子に接続される電極を前記静電容量方式で駆動して静電容量変化を検出する駆動検出回路と、
前記第1の電極とグラウンドとの接続および非接続を切り替える第1の切替回路と、
前記第1の電極と前記第2の電極との接続および非接続を切り替える第2の切替回路とを備え、
前記駆動検出回路は、前記駆動検出端子に前記第2の電極が接続された状態で、前記第1の切替回路により前記第1の電極とグラウンドとを非接続状態にするとともに前記第2の切替回路により前記第1の電極と前記第2の電極とを接続状態にする第1の状態と、前記第1の切替回路により前記第1の電極とグラウンドとを接続状態にするとともに前記第2の切替回路により前記第1の電極と前記第2の電極とを非接続状態にする第2の状態とを切り替えて、前記第1の状態における静電容量変化と前記第2の状態における静電容量変化とを検知し、
前記第1の状態および前記第2の状態における各静電容量変化がともに前記ドアハンドルへの人体の接触に対応する検知結果である場合に、前記ドアハンドルへの人体の接触が行われたと判定することを特徴とする接触検知装置。 - 前記ドアハンドルの外表面への押圧により、前記第1の電極と前記第2の電極との距離が変化することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の接触検知装置。
- 前記第1の電極は前記第2の電極よりも大きな面積を有していることを特徴とする請求項1または2に記載の接触検知装置。
- 前記第1の電極と前記第2の電極との間に、空気よりも大きな誘電率を有する物質が介在していることを特徴とする請求項1ないし3のいずれか1項に記載の接触検知装置。
- 前記第1の状態における静電容量変化の検知と、前記第2の状態における静電容量変化の検知とを、交互に所定の複数回だけ繰り返し、
前記所定の複数回に亘り、前記第1の状態および前記第2の状態における各静電容量変化が全て前記ドアハンドルへの人体の接触に対応する検知結果である場合に、前記ドアハンドルへの人体の接触が行われたと判定することを特徴とする請求項1ないし4のいずれか1項に記載の接触検知装置。
