前記保持溝は、底面と、該底面の前記内輪部材と反対側の前端縁から立ち上がった前端面と、前記底面の後端縁から立ち上がった後端面と、を有し、前記前端面の立ち上がり傾斜角度を、後端面の立ち上がり角度よりも小さく設定して、前記シャフトに抜け出し方向へ所定以上のトルクが作用した際に、前記サークリップに縮径方向の力を作用させる大きさに形成したことを特徴としている。
〔本実施形態の作用効果〕
以下、本実施形態に係るプロペラシャフト及び第1等速ジョイント3の作用について説明する。前記第1等速ジョイント3の内輪部材18には、予めと、ドライブシャフト4のスタブシャフト4aが固定用孔18aを介して圧入固定されている。
〔第2実施形態〕
図6及び図7は第2実施形態を示し、まず、プロペラシャフト1の各ジョイントの配置と構造を変更したもので、第1等速ジョイント3の構造を図6に示すスライド式にすると共に、第2等速ジョイント5をドリブンシャフト6の一端側に配置し、他端側のジョイントをカルダンジョイント7に変更したものである。
また、前記外輪部材17と内輪部材18との間に、ケージ19を介してトルク伝達部材である複数のボール20が転動自在に保持されている。
〔第3実施形態〕
図8及び図9は第3実施形態を示し、プロペラシャフト1の各ジョイントの配置と構造を変更したもので、第1等速ジョイント3を、図8に示すカルダンジョイントに変更すると共に、第2等速ジョイント5をドライブシャフト4の他端側に配置し、ドリブンシャフト6の他端側を等速ジョイント7に変更したものである。
〔第4実施形態〕
図10は第4実施形態を示し、第2実施形態の構成を前提として、入力軸2の中径部12の先端側の第1シールリング14の他に、大径部11との付け根部に第2のシールリング32を設けたものである。この第2のシールリング32は、中径部12の付け根部と前記円筒部21の先端部21cのテーパ状内周縁21eとの間に介装されて、前記隙間Cの内周側を閉止するような状態で配置されている。他の構成は第2実施形態と同様であるから同一の符番を付けて具体的な説明を省略する。
〔第5実施形態〕
図11は第5実施形態を示し、基本構成は、第2実施形態のものとほぼ同一であるが、異なるところは、外輪部材17の軸方向の長さを短く設定したものである。他の構成は第2実施形態のものと同じであるから、同一箇所には同一の符号を付して具体的な説明は省略する。
図12は第6実施形態を示し、第1等速ジョイントとしていわゆるトリポート型のものを用いたものである。すなわち、軸方向に比較的長い円筒状の外輪部材17の内周に、軸方向溝33が形成されていると共に、スタブシャフト4aの先端部4b外周に内輪部材34がスプライン結合している。この内輪部材34は、外周面周方向120°の位置に3つの短軸34aが突設されて、この各短軸34aの外周に複数のニードルローラ35を介して円環状の転動ローラ36が回転自在に支持されている。この転動ローラ36は、外周面が断面円弧状に形成されて、前記軸方向溝33内に転動かつ摺動自在に保持されている。
〔請求項a〕請求項2に記載のプロペラシャフトにおいて、
前記調整機構は、前記外輪部材と内輪部材が前記トルク伝達部材を介して軸方向に相対変位可能に接続されていることを特徴とするプロペラシャフト。
〔請求項b〕請求項1に記載のプロペラシャフトにおいて、
前記シャフトと外輪部材の結合時に、前記スリーブの内周面と前記シャフトの外周面との間を液密的にシールするシール部材を設けたことを特徴とするプロペラシャフト。
〔請求項c〕請求項bに記載のプロペラシャフトにおいて、
前記シャフトは、前記スリーブ内に挿入される先端部が大径部と該大径部に軸方向に連続一体に形成された中径部とを備え、前記シール部材を前記中径部の大径部との結合付近の外周と前記スリーブの内周との間に設けたことを特徴とするプロペラシャフト。
〔請求項d〕請求項bに記載のプロペラシャフトにおいて、
前記シール部材を前記小径部の軸方向に複数設けたことを特徴とするプロペラシャフト。
〔請求項e〕請求項bに記載のプロペラシャフトにおいて、
前記スリーブの内周面に、前記雌スプラインが形成された雌スプライン形成部とこれ以外の非雌スプライン形成部とを有し、
前記シール部材は、前記非雌スプライン形成部に設けれていることを特徴とするプロペラシャフト。
〔請求項f〕請求項eに記載のプロペラシャフトにおいて、
前記シャフトの外周面に、前記雄スプラインが形成されていない非雄スプライン形成部を有し、前記シール部材を、前記非雄スプライン形成部と前記スリーブの非雌スプライン形成部との間に設けたことを特徴とするプロペラシャフト。
〔請求項g〕
内周面に雌スプラインが形成されたスリーブを備え、外周面に雄スプラインが形成されたシャフトを前記スリーブに挿入してスプライン結合した外輪部材と、
該外輪部材に転動体を介してトルク伝達可能に接続されて、軸部材に前記トルクを伝達する内輪部材と、
一端が前記外輪部材に固定され、他端が前記軸部材に固定され、前記外輪部材内にグリースを保持するためのブーツと、
前記シャフトと前記外輪部材とを前記軸方向に位置決め結合する結合機構と、を備え、
前記スリーブの内周面と前記シャフトとの間を液密的にシールするシール部材を有し、
前記結合機構を、前記シール部材よりも前記内輪部材側に配置したことを特徴とするプロペラシャフト。
〔請求項h〕請求項4に記載の等速ジョイントにおいて、
前記第1継手部材としての第1ヨークと、前記第2継手部材としての第2ヨークと、前記第1、第2ヨークに連結された前記トルク伝達部材としての十字軸とによって構成したことを特徴とする等速ジョイント。

Claims (3)
- 外周面に雄スプラインが形成されたシャフトが軸方向から挿入されるスリーブ及び該スリーブの内周面に形成されて、前記雄スプラインが係合する雌スプラインを備えた外輪部材と、
該外輪部材の内側に配置されて、トルク伝達部材を介して前記外輪部材からトルクが伝達される内輪部材と、
前記雌雄スプラインを介して前記シャフトを前記スリーブ内に挿入した際に、前記シャフトと外輪部材の軸方向の相対的な位置決めを行いつつ該両者を着脱自在に結合する結合機構を設け、
該結合機構は、前記スリーブの内周面に形成された円環状の保持溝と、前記シャフトの外周に形成された環状溝内に嵌着されて、前記保持溝に弾性的に係止するサークリップと、を備え、
前記保持溝は、底面と、該底面の前記内輪部材と反対側の前端縁から立ち上がった前端面と、前記底面の後端縁から立ち上がった後端面と、を有し、前記前端面の立ち上がり傾斜角度を、後端面の立ち上がり角度よりも小さく設定して、前記シャフトに抜け出し方向へ所定以上のトルクが作用した際に、前記サークリップに縮径方向の力を作用させる大きさに形成したことを特徴とするプロペラシャフト。 - 請求項1に記載のプロペラシャフトにおいて、
前記外輪部材と内輪部材との間に、プロペラシャフトの軸方向の長さを調整する調整機構を設けたことを特徴とするプロペラシャフト。 - 外周面に雄スプラインが形成されたシャフトが軸方向から挿入されるスリーブ及び該スリーブの内周面に形成されて、前記雄スプラインが係合する雌スプラインを備えた第1継手部材と、
該第1継手部材の内側に配置された第2継手部材と、
前記第1継手部材と第2継手部材との間に設けられて、該両継手部材間でトルクの伝達を行うトルク伝達部材と、
前記スリーブに、前記シャフトと第1継手部材の軸方向の相対的な位置決めを行いつつ該両者を着脱自在に結合する結合機構を設け、
該結合機構は、前記スリーブの内周面に形成された円環状の保持溝と、前記シャフトの外周に形成された環状溝内に嵌着されて、前記保持溝に弾性的に係止するサークリップと、を備え、
前記保持溝は、前記保持溝は、底面と、該底面の前記内輪部材と反対側の前端縁から立ち上がった前端面と、前記底面の後端縁から立ち上がった後端面と、を有し、前記前端面の立ち上がり傾斜角度を、後端面の立ち上がり角度よりも小さく設定して、前記シャフトに抜け出し方向へ所定以上のトルクが作用した際に、前記サークリップに縮径方向の力を作用させる大きさに形成したことを特徴とする等速ジョイント。
