Description
<素電池>
図1は、本発明の実施形態1における電池モジュールに使用する電池100の構成を模式的に示した断面図である。なお、本発明の電池モジュールに使用する電池は、ノート型パソコン等の携帯用電子機器の電源として単体でも使用できる電池であってもよい(以下、電池モジュールに使用する電池を、「素電池」と呼ぶ)。この場合、高性能の汎用電池を、電池モジュールの素電池として使用することができるため、電池モジュールの高性能化、低コスト化をより容易に図ることができる。
図2は、本実施形態における電池モジュール200の構成を模式的に示した断面図である。図の見やすさを優先するため、素電池100の内部構造は示さず、素電池100のハッチングも省略している。また、素電池100同士を電気的に接続する部材も省略している。
実施形態2に係る電池モジュールは、ケースと素電池とを離隔する保持部材が実施形態1とは異なっており、それ以外は実施形態1とは同じであるので、実施形態1と異なっている点を以下に説明する。
今まで説明した実施の形態は、本発明の例示であり本発明はこれらの例に限定されない。電池の形状や大きさは特に限定されない。角柱形状の素電池や横断面が長方形の両短辺を半円に置き換えた形状ある柱状電池であってもよいし、それ以外の形状でもよい。

Claims (5)
- 二次電池である複数の素電池をケースに収納した電池モジュールであって、
前記ケースは、前記素電池をそれぞれ収容する複数の収容部を備えており、
保持部材が前記素電池と前記収容部の間の一部に存しており、
前記保持部材により、前記素電池は前記収容部に非接触で収容されているとともに、前記素電池内に発生したガスにより当該素電池が膨張した際には当該素電池と前記収容部とが接触し、前記素電池の熱を前記ケースに熱伝導させる、電池モジュール。 - 前記ケースの熱伝導率は50W/mK以上である、請求項1に記載されている電池モジュール。
- 前記保持部材は、熱伝導率が0.5W/mK以下である、請求項1または2に記載されている電池モジュール。
- 前記素電池は柱状であり、
前記収容部は前記素電池の側面を取り囲んでいる、請求項1から3のいずれか一つに記載されている電池モジュール。 - 前記保持部材は前記素電池の側面上端近辺と下端近辺とに固定されたリングである、請求項4に記載されている電池モジュール。
