(34) 導波管手段を更に備えて、前記音響手段からの前記超音波動作を、前記導波管手段に動作可能に連結された外科用エンドエフェクタに伝達する、実施態様33に記載の手術器具。
(35) 手術器具システムにおいて、
ハンドピースハウジングと、
前記ハンドピースハウジングに対して回転自在に移動するように、前記ハンドピースハウジングによって回転自在に支持される音響アセンブリであって、前記音響アセンブリは、それ自体に電気信号が適用されると超音波動作を生成するように構成される、音響アセンブリと、
前記音響アセンブリに対して回転するように前記音響アセンブリと回転接触状態にある前記ハンドピースハウジングによって回転自在に支持される導波管と、
前記導波管に動作可能に連結されるエンドエフェクタと、
電気信号及び無線周波数信号の少なくとも一方を生成するための信号源と、
前記ハンドピースハウジングの中に支持され、かつ前記信号源及び前記音響アセンブリと電気接触状態にある電気接触アセンブリと、を備える手術器具システム。
(36) 手術器具の制御方法であって、
超音波駆動システムに連結された超音波発生器モジュールによって第1の超音波駆動信号を生成することであって、前記超音波駆動システムは、導波管に連結される超音波トランスデューサと、前記導波管に連結されるエンドエフェクタとを備え、前記超音波駆動システムは、共振周波数で機械的に共振するように構成される、ことと、
前記超音波駆動システムの電気的特性をモニタリングすることと、
前記超音波駆動システムの前記モニタリングされた電気的特性に応答して前記超音波駆動信号を制御することと、を含む方法。
(37) 前記モニタリングされた電気的特性に応答して第2の超音波駆動信号を生成することを含み、前記第2の超音波駆動信号が前記第1の超音波駆動信号と異なる、実施態様36に記載の方法。
(38) 前記電気的特性が、前記超音波トランスデューサのインピーダンスである、実施態様36に記載の方法。
(39) 前記電気的特性が、前記エンドエフェクタと接触している組織部分のインピーダンスである、実施態様36に記載の方法。
(40) 前記超音波駆動システムの前記モニタリングされた電気的特性に応答して、前記エンドエフェクタに連結された電気外科的発生器によって治療的電気信号を生成することを含む、実施態様36に記載の方法。
(42) 前記エンドエフェクタに連結された信号発生器モジュールによって、治療レベル未満の電気信号を生成することと、
前記エンドエフェクタと接触している組織部分に前記治療レベル未満の電気信号を適用することと、
前記組織部分の電気的特性をモニタリングすることと、を含む、実施態様36に記載の方法。
(43) 前記組織部分の前記モニタリングされた電気的特性に応答して前記超音波駆動信号を制御することを含む、実施態様42に記載の方法。
(44) 前記組織部分の前記モニタリングされた電気的特性に応答して、前記エンドエフェクタに連結された電気外科的発生器によって治療的電気信号を生成することを含む、実施態様43に記載の方法。
(45) 前記組織部分の前記モニタリングされた電気的特性に応答してフィードバックを提供することを含む、実施態様42に記載の方法。
(46) 手術器具において、
超音波駆動システムに連結される超音波発生器モジュールであって、前記超音波駆動システムは、導波管に連結される超音波トランスデューサと、前記導波管に連結されるエンドエフェクタとを備え、前記超音波駆動システムは、共振周波数で機械的に共振するように構成され、前記超音波発生器モジュールは、第1の超音波駆動信号を生成することができる、超音波発生器モジュールと、
前記超音波発生器モジュールに連結される電子回路であって、前記電子回路は、前記超音波駆動システムの電気的特性をモニタリングすることができる、電子回路と、
前記電子回路に連結されるプロセッサであって、前記プロセッサは、前記超音波駆動システムの前記モニタリングされた電気的特性に応答して超音波駆動信号を制御することができる、プロセッサと、を備える手術器具。
(47) 前記電子回路が、
前記トランスデューサを流れる電流を検知する電流検知回路と、
前記トランスデューサに印加される出力電圧を検知する電圧検知回路と、を含む、実施態様46に記載の器具。
(48) 前記エンドエフェクタに連結される電気外科的発生器を備え、
前記電気外科的発生器が、前記超音波駆動システムの前記モニタリングされた電気的特性に応答して治療的電気信号を生成することができる、実施態様46に記載の器具。
(49) 前記プロセッサに連結されて、前記超音波駆動システムの前記モニタリングされた電気的特性に応答してフィードバックを提供する出力インジケータを備える、実施態様46に記載の器具。
(50) 前記エンドエフェクタに連結されて、治療レベル未満の電気信号を生成する信号発生器モジュールと、
前記エンドエフェクタ及び前記信号発生器モジュールに連結される電極であって、前記電極は、前記エンドエフェクタと接触している組織部分に前記治療レベル未満の電気信号を適用することができる、電極と、
前記信号発生器モジュールに連結されて、前記組織部分を流れる電気信号を検知する電流検知回路と、
前記信号発生器に連結されて、前記組織部分に印加される電圧を検知する電圧検知回路と、を備える、実施態様46に記載の器具。
超音波駆動システムに連結される超音波発生器モジュールであって、前記超音波駆動システムは、導波管に連結される超音波トランスデューサと、前記導波管に連結されるエンドエフェクタとを備え、前記超音波駆動システムは、共振周波数で機械的に共振するように構成され、前記超音波発生器モジュールは、第1の超音波駆動信号を生成することができる、超音波発生器モジュールと、
前記エンドエフェクタに連結されて、治療的電気信号を生成する電気外科的発生器と、
前記エンドエフェクタに連結されて、治療レベル未満の電気信号を生成する信号発生器モジュールと、
前記超音波発生器モジュール及び前記信号発生器モジュールに連結されるプロセッサであって、前記プロセッサは、前記超音波駆動システムの電気的特性をモニタリングする、プロセッサと、を備える手術システム。
(52) 前記超音波発生器モジュールに連結される電子回路を含み、前記電子回路が、前記超音波駆動システムの電気的特性をモニタリングすることができ、前記電子回路が、
前記トランスデューサを流れる電流を検知するための電流検知回路と、
前記トランスデューサに印加される出力電圧を検知するための電圧検知回路と、を備える、実施態様51に記載のシステム。
(53) 前記電気外科的発生器が、前記超音波駆動システムの前記モニタリングされた電気的特性に応答して治療的電気信号を生成することができる、実施態様51に記載のシステム。
(54) 前記プロセッサに連結されて、前記超音波駆動システムの前記モニタリングされた電気的特性に応答してフィードバックを提供する出力インジケータを備える、実施態様51に記載のシステム。
(55) 前記エンドエフェクタ及び前記信号発生器モジュールに連結される電極であって、前記電極は、前記エンドエフェクタと接触している組織部分に前記治療レベル未満の電気信号を適用することができる、電極と、
前記信号発生器モジュールに連結されて、前記組織部分を流れる電気信号を検知する電流検知回路と、
前記信号発生器に連結されて、前記組織部分に印加される電圧を検知する電圧検知回路と、を備える、実施態様51に記載のシステム。
Claims (4)
- 手術器具において、
ハンドピースハウジングと、
前記ハンドピースハウジング内に支持されて、振動を生成するように構成される音響アセンブリと、
近位端と遠位端とを含む導波管であって、前記近位端は、前記音響アセンブリによって生成された振動が前記導波管に伝達されるように前記音響アセンブリに装着される、導波管と、
前記導波管に対して開放位置と閉鎖位置との間で移動可能なクランプと、
前記導波管と電気的に導通する第1の導体と、
前記クランプと電気的に導通する第2の導体であって、電流が前記導波管及び前記クランプと接触する組織を通って前記導波管と前記クランプとの間を流れることができるように、前記第1の導体及び前記第2の導体は、電源と電気的導通状態に配置されるように構成される、第2の導体と、
前記音響アセンブリが振動を生成する第1の動作モード、並びに、電流が、前記第1の導体、前記導波管、前記クランプ、前記導波管及び前記クランプと接触する組織、及び前記第2の導体を含む回路を流れる第2の動作モードで前記手術器具を操作するように構成される、制御ユニットと、
前記手術器具を前記第1の動作モードと前記第2の動作モードとの間で切り替えるように構成される、スイッチと、
前記導波管を少なくとも部分的に取り囲むシースと、
を備え、
前記クランプが、前記シースに旋回可能に装着される近位端を含み、前記クランプが遠位端を更に含み、電流が組織を通って前記導波管の前記遠位端と前記クランプの前記遠位端との間を流れることができるように、前記クランプの前記遠位端の端面及び前記導波管の前記遠位端の端面が、前記組織に接して配置されるように構成される、手術器具。 - 前記クランプが、前記導波管と直接接触しない、請求項1に記載の手術器具。
- 前記第2の導体が、前記シースに少なくとも部分的に埋め込まれる、請求項1に記載の手術器具。
- 前記クランプに装着される組織接触パッドを更に備え、前記組織接触パッドが導電性材料で構成される、請求項1に記載の手術器具。
