Description

外側カニューレ44は並進不能であり、ハンドピース42の長手方向軸線の方向に沿ったハンドピース42に対するその位置は固定のままである。モータ62は、ハンドピース42の近位側下部ハウジング区画46に配置され、外側カニューレ内腔110内での内側カニューレ76の往復運動を駆動するように、内側カニューレ76に動作可能に接続される。モータ62は往復または回転モータであってもよい。それに加えて、電動式または油圧式であってもよい。しかし、図2および3の実施形態では、モータ62は回転モータであり、その回転によって内側カニューレ76が外側カニューレ内腔110内で往復運動する。

内側カニューレ276の外径の約45%乃至約65%であり、好ましくは内側カニューレ276の外径の約52%乃至約62%であり、さらに好ましくは内側カニューレ276の外径の約55%乃至約60%である、累積する軽減半径の距離Z1+Z2(Z1及びZ2は、軽減区分291a及び291bの円形部分の高さである)を画定する。“累積する” 軽減半径の距離は、共通の直径に沿った軽減された半径距離(すなわち、同一直線上にある半径距離)の合計を指す。従って、図30a及び図30bの例では、共通の直径に沿った二つの軽減された半径距離Z1及びZ2があり、その累積する軽減半径の距離は、それらの合計Z1+Z2に等しい。
また、チューブベンダーの近位区分411は、近位区分411の曲率によって画定された半径方向に曲げ表面408から離間配置されたユーザー係合表面409を含む。以下にさらに説明されるように、ユーザー係合表面409は、外側カニューレの曲げ動作中にユーザーが彼又は彼女の指又は親指を押すことができる支持面を提供する。
