Description
(A)紙ベースの基板;及び
(B)該基板の少なくとも1つの表面上に配置された断熱層であって、
ボイド構造を含み且つ組成物の総重量を基礎として以下のものを備える流体断熱組成物から生成された断熱層を含む:
(a)20%〜70%重量の量の充填剤;
(b)15%〜70%重量の量の有機結合剤;
(c)0.5%〜10%重量の量の可塑剤;及び
(d)10%〜15%重量の量の水分。
(i)0%〜90%重量の量の無機充填剤;及び
(ii)10%〜100%重量の量の有機充填剤。
(i)40%〜90%重量の量の無機充填剤;及び
(ii)10%〜60%重量の量の有機充填剤。
(i)第1及び第2表面を有する紙ベースの基板を提供するステップ;
(ii)コートされた構造を提供するために紙ベースの基板の第1表面上に断熱層を付加するステップであって、該断熱層はボイド構造を含み前述の流体断熱組成物から生成されるステップ;及び
(iii)断熱層の水含有量を、断熱層の総重量を基に、10%〜15%に減少するためにコートされた構造を乾燥するステップ。
(A)第1及び第2表面を有する紙ベースの基板
(B)紙ベースのトップ層;及び
(C)紙ベースの基板の第1表面及び紙ベースのトップ層の間に配置された断熱層であって、ボイド構造を含み、且つ上述の断熱組成物から生成される断熱層。

Claims (64)
- 包装材料であって、
(A)紙ベースの基板層;
(B)紙ベースのトップ層;及び
(C)前記紙ベースの基板層と前記紙ベースのトップ層の間に配置される断熱組成物であって、該断熱組成物は、充填剤、有機結合剤及び可塑剤を含む断熱組成物;
を含み、
前記断熱組成物が、長手方向に延在した波状のストランドの形態であることを特徴とする材料。 - 前記充填剤は、前記断熱組成物の重量で少なくとも20パーセントを備えることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の材料。
- 前記有機結合剤は、前記断熱組成物の重量で15%から70%を備えることを特徴とする請求項2に記載の材料。
- さらに、防湿層を備え、前記防湿層は、紙ベースの基板層及び紙ベースのトップ層の少なくとも1つに配置されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の材料。
- 前記充填剤が、充填剤の総重量を基礎にして、
(i)重量で0%〜90%の量の無機充填剤;及び
(ii)重量で10%〜100%の量の有機充填剤
を含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の材料。 - 前記充填剤が、充填剤の総重量を基礎にして、
(i)重量で40%〜90%の量の無機充填剤;及び
(ii)重量で10%〜60%の量の有機充填剤
を含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の材料。 - 前記断熱組成物が、紙ベースの基板層及び紙ベースのトップ層の少なくとも1つに配置されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の材料。
- 前記断熱組成物は、組成物の総重量を基にして重量で最大で20%のスターチ結合剤を含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の材料。
- 前記スターチ結合剤は、スターチ結合剤の総重量を基にして、
(i)重量で10%〜50%の量のゼラチン化されたスターチ;及び
(ii)重量で50%〜90%の量のゼラチン化されていないスターチ
を含むことを特徴とする請求項8に記載の材料。 - 前記スターチ結合剤は、スターチ結合剤の総重量を基にして、
(i)重量で0%〜70%の量のゼラチン化されたスターチ;及び
(ii)重量で30%〜100%の量のゼラチン化されていないスターチ
を含むことを特徴とする請求項8に記載の材料。 - 前記スターチ結合剤は、スターチ結合剤の総重量を基にして、
(i)重量で50%〜100%の量のゼラチン化されたスターチ;及び
(ii)重量で0%〜50%の量のゼラチン化されていないスターチ
を含むことを特徴とする請求項8に記載の材料。 - 前記断熱組成物が、組成物の総重量を基にして重量で少なくとも20%のスターチ結合剤を含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の材料。
- 前記スターチ結合剤は、スターチ結合剤の総重量を基にして、
(i)重量で10%〜50%の量のゼラチン化されたスターチ;及び
(ii)重量で50%〜90%の量のゼラチン化されていないスターチ
を含むことを特徴とする請求項12に記載の材料。 - 前記断熱組成物は、さらに、ホウ砂を含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の材料。
- 前記断熱組成物は、組成物の全重量を基に重量で1%〜15%の量のケイ酸ナトリウムを含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の材料。
- 前記断熱組成物は、ゼラチン化されていないスターチ及びケイ酸ナトリウムを含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の材料。
- 前記断熱組成物は、組成物の全重量を基にして、
(i)重量で5%〜32%の量のゼラチン化されていないスターチ;及び
(ii)重量で1%〜15%の量のケイ酸ナトリウム
を含むことを特徴とする請求項16に記載の材料。 - 前記断熱組成物は、組成物の総重量を基にして重量で2%〜50%の量で充填剤としてセルロース固形物として含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の材料。
- 前記セルロース固形物は、少なくとも100ミクロンの平均粒子サイズを有することを特徴とする請求項18に記載の材料。
- 前記セルロース固形物は、セルロース繊維、木粉、木材粉塵、グルテン飼料、及びそれらの組み合わせからなるグループから選択される要素を含むことを特徴とする請求項18に記載の材料。
- 前記セルロース固形物は、セルロース繊維を具備し、前記セルロース繊維は、2mmよりも大きくない長さで且つ25:1よりも大きくないアスペクト比により特徴付けられる請求項18に記載の材料。
- 前記断熱組成物は、組成物の総重量を基にして重量で0.5%〜1%の量で充填剤としてコーン繊維を含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の材料。
- 前記充填剤は、セラミック空気含有粒子、パーライト粒子、及びそれらの組み合わせからなるグループから選択される絶縁粒子を含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の材料。
- 前記有機結合剤は、スチレン−ブタジエンポリマー、アクリックスチレンブタジエンラテックスポリマー、スターチ、ポリビニルアルコール、ポリビニルアセテート、及びそれらの組み合わせからなるグループから選択される要素を具備することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の材料。
- 前記断熱組成物の厚さが0.05mm〜5mmの範囲にあることにより特徴付けられる請求項1に記載の材料。
- 前記断熱組成物は、流体として前記紙ベースの基板層及び前記紙ベースのトップ層の少なくとも1つに付加され、前記流体は、0.03〜0.5の範囲の疑似可塑性指数を有することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の材料。
- 前記断熱組成物は、流体として前記紙ベースの基板層及び前記紙ベースのトップ層の少なくとも1つに付加され、前記流体は、2000〜50000cpsの範囲の低せん断粘性及び100〜5000cpsの範囲の高せん断粘性を有することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の材料。
- 前記紙ベースの基板層の多孔率は、20〜150ガーレー単位の範囲内にあることにより特徴付けられる請求項1に記載の材料。
- 前記紙ベースの基板の多孔率は、20〜150ガーレー単位の範囲内にあることにより特徴付けられる請求項1に記載の材料。
- 請求項1に記載の前記包装材料を含む飲料用カップ。
- 請求項2に記載の前記包装材料を含む飲料用カップ。
- 請求項3に記載の前記包装材料を含む飲料用カップ。
- 断熱包装材料を準備する方法であって、以下のステップ、
(i)第1の紙ベースの基板を提供するステップ;
(ii)コートされた構造を提供するために該第1の紙ベースの基板に流体断熱組成物を付加するステップであって、断熱組成物は、以下のものを含むステップ;
(a)充填剤;
(b)有機結合剤;
(c)可塑剤;及び
(d)水分
(iii)構造物を形成するために断熱組成物が第1の紙ベースの基板と第2の紙ベースの基板の間に配置されるように、第2の紙ベースの基板を前記断熱組成物にわたって付加するステップ;及び
(iv)前記構造物を乾燥するステップ
を具備し、
前記断熱組成物が、長手方向に延在した波状のストランドの形態であることを特徴とする方法。 - 前記断熱組成物は、前記第1の紙ベースの基板上に付加されることを特徴とする請求項33に記載の方法。
- 前記充填剤が、充填剤の総重量を基にして、
(i)重量で0%〜90%の量の無機充填剤;及び
(ii)重量で10%〜100%の量の有機充填剤
を含むことを特徴とする請求項33に記載の方法。 - 前記充填剤が、充填剤の総重量を基にして、
(i)重量で40%〜90%の量の無機充填剤;及び
(ii)重量で10%〜60%の量の有機充填剤
を含むことを特徴とする請求項33に記載の方法。 - 前記断熱組成物は、組成物の総重量を基にして重量で最大で20%のスターチ結合剤を備えることを特徴とする請求項33に記載の方法。
- 前記断熱組成物が、組成物の総重量を基にして重量で少なくとも20%のスターチ結合剤を備えることを特徴とする請求項33に記載の方法。
- 前記充填剤は、前記断熱組成物の重量で少なくとも20%を備えることを特徴とする請求項33に記載の方法。
- 前記有機結合剤は、前記断熱組成物の重量で15%〜70%を備えることを特徴とする請求項33に記載の方法。
- 前記可塑剤は、前記断熱組成物の重量で0.5%〜10%を備えることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の材料。
- 前記断熱組成物は、ボイド構造を含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の材料。
- 前記ボイド構造は、少なくとも幾つかの前記充填剤、前記有機結合剤、及び前記可塑剤の間で空気空間を備えることを特徴とする請求項42に記載の材料。
- 請求項42の材料を含む飲料用カップ。
- 前記断熱組成物は、ランダムパターンで第1の紙ベースの基板に付加されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の材料。
- 請求項45の材料を含む飲料用カップ。
- 前記紙ベースの基板層及び紙ベースのトップ層は、それとともに関連した結合厚みを有し、且つ前記断熱組成物は、それとともに関連した厚みを有し、そしてここで、前記断熱組成物の厚みは、前記結合厚みの20%〜100%の範囲にあることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の材料。
- 前記断熱組成物は、前記紙ベースの基板を前記紙ベースのトップ層から距離を空けることを特徴とする請求項47に記載の材料。
- 前記断熱組成物は、フォームを含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の材料。
- 前記フォームは、機械的に誘発されたことを特徴とする請求項49に記載の材料。
- 前記フォームは、機械的に泡立てられたラテックスを含むことを特徴とする請求項49に記載の材料。
- 前記フォームは、エマルションポリマー結合剤及び発泡安定剤を含むことを特徴とする請求項49に記載の材料。
- 請求項49の材料を含む飲料用カップ。
- 前記充填剤は、不揃いな形状を有する粒子を含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の材料。
- 容器であって、
(A) 第1表面を含む第1層;
(B) 第2表面を含む第2層であって、前記第1層及び前記第2層が、そこに関連される結合厚みを有する、第2層;及び
(C) 該第1表面と該第2表面の間に配置された断熱フォーム材料であって、断熱フォーム材料は、そこに関連される厚みを有し、
断熱フォーム材料のその厚みは、前記結合厚みの少なくとも20パーセントである、断熱フォーム材料
を備え、
前記断熱フォーム材料が、長手方向に延在した波状のストランドの形態であることを特徴とする容器。 - 前記断熱フォーム材料は、ボイド構造を備えることを特徴とする請求項55に記載の容器。

- 前記充填剤は、セルロース固形物を含むことを特徴とする請求項59に記載の容器。
- 前記セルロース固形物は、セルロース繊維、木粉、木材粉塵、グルテン飼料、及びそれらの組み合わせからなるグループから選択される要素を含むことを特徴とする請求項60に記載の容器。
- 前記セルロース固形物は、少なくとも100ミクロンの平均粒子サイズを有することを特徴とする請求項60に記載の容器。
