Claims (17)
- 検出システムであって、
入力放射を与えるための放射源と、
前記入力放射を試料の分析領域に与えるための放射集束装置と、
前記入力放射の前記試料との相互作用から生じる前記試料の前記分析領域からの出力放射を収集するための放射収集装置と、
前記収集された出力放射を検出するための放射検出器と、
前記検出システムを第一の検出モード及び第二の検出モードにおいて作動させるための作動手段とを有する検出システムであって、
前記第一の検出モードにおいて前記分析領域は第一のサイズ及び/又は形状を持ち、前記第二の検出モードにおいて前記分析領域は前記第一のサイズ及び/又は形状と異なる第二のサイズ及び/又は形状を持ち、
前記作動手段は前記検出モードの変更を実施するために前記システムの入力放射励起経路と出力放射検出経路を修正し、
前記システムの前記入力放射励起経路と前記出力放射検出経路の修正は前記放射源と前記分析領域の間の前記入力放射への収差の導入若しくは除去を含む、
検出システム。 - 前記作動手段が、前記第一の検出モードにおいて第一の分析面積を、前記第二の検出モードにおいて前記第一の分析面積よりも大きい第二の分析面積を、前記分析領域に与える、請求項1に記載の検出システム。
- 前記第一及び第二の検出モードのうちの少なくとも一方に共焦点検出をもたらすための共焦点結像手段を有する、請求項1又は2に記載の検出システム。
- 前記作動手段が、前記第一の検出モードにおいて第一の分析体積の厚みを、前記第二の検出モードにおいて第二の分析体積の厚みを、前記分析領域に与える、請求項1乃至3のいずれか一項に記載の検出システム。
- 前記作動手段が試料をz方向にスキャンするための手段を有する、請求項1乃至4のいずれか一項に記載の検出システム。
- 前記作動手段が前記放射集束装置の焦点深度を変化させるための手段を有する、請求項1乃至5のいずれか一項に記載の検出システム。
- 前記放射源の前記出力を視準するための視準屈折素子をさらに有し、前記作動手段が前記放射源に対して前記視準屈折素子を動かすための手段を有する、請求項6に記載の検出システム。
- 前記作動手段が前記放射源と前記分析領域の間の前記入力放射に収差を導入するために前記放射源と前記分析領域の間の前記入力放射経路内に挿入可能な光ファイバを有する、請求項1に記載の検出システム。
- 前記作動手段が前記放射源と前記分析領域の間の前記入力放射に収差を導入するために前記放射源と前記分析領域の間の前記入力放射経路内に挿入可能な散乱素子を有する、請求項1に記載の検出システム。
- 前記作動手段が前記光ファイバと前記分析領域の間の前記入力放射経路内に配置される視準素子をさらに有し、前記検出システムが結像素子及びさらなる光ファイバをさらに有し、前記さらなる光ファイバは前記結像素子と前記放射検出器の間の前記出力放射経路内に挿入可能である、請求項8に記載の検出システム。
- 前記放射集束装置と前記放射収集装置によって共有され、かつ、前記試料へ前記入力放射を与えるため、及び前記試料からの前記出力放射を収集するために配置される、屈折素子を有する、請求項1乃至10のいずれか一項に記載の検出システム。
- 前記検出器が、前記第一の検出モードと組み合わせて第一の面積モードにおいて、前記第二の検出モードと組み合わせて第二の面積モードにおいて動作可能であるように、第一及び第二の結像レンズ装置を有する、請求項1乃至11のいずれか一項に記載の検出システム。
- 前記放射検出器が前記放射を検出するための空間的に分布された画素を有する、請求項1乃至12のいずれか一項に記載の検出システム。
- 前記放射検出器が単一検出器面を有し、前記検出システムが検出器開口をさらに有し、前記検出器開口を調整することによって、前記放射検出器が、前記第一の検出モードと組み合わせて第一の面積モードにおいて、前記第二の検出モードと組み合わせて第二の面積モードにおいて動作可能であるようになっている、請求項1乃至12のいずれか一項に記載の検出システム。
- 試料からの出力放射を検出するための検出方法であって、前記検出方法が、
入力放射を与えるステップと、
前記入力放射を集束し、これによって試料上に分析領域を作り出すステップと、
前記入力放射の前記試料との相互作用から生じる前記試料の前記分析領域からの出力放射を収集するステップと、
前記収集された光を検出するステップと、
検出モードの変更を実施するように入力放射励起経路と出力放射検出経路を修正することによって前記分析領域のサイズ及び/又は形状を変化させ、前記入力放射励起経路と前記出力放射検出経路の修正は放射源と前記分析領域の間の前記入力放射への収差の導入若しくは除去を含む、ステップと、前記方法の最初の3ステップを繰り返すステップと
を有する、検出方法。 - プログラマブルデバイスが請求項15に記載の方法を実行することができるようにするためのコンピュータプログラム。
- 請求項15に記載の方法のステップを実行するように検出システムを制御するコントローラ。
