前記補助構造が、前記ライトガイドの頂部表面上に形成された、照明デバイス。 - 前記材料が、金属を含む、請求項1に記載の照明デバイス。
- 前記補助構造が、電極である、請求項2に記載の照明デバイス。
- 前記電極が、電子システムと電気接続されている、請求項3に記載の照明デバイス。
- 前記電子システムが、導電性の物体の近接を感知することができる接触センサシステムであり、
前記電極が、前記接触センサシステムの一部である、請求項4に記載の照明デバイス。 - 前記電子システムが、人の指の近接を感知することができる、請求項4に記載の照明デバイス。
- 前記接触センサシステムが、1つの方向に延在する電極と、非平行の他の方向に延在する他の電極とを備え、
前記電極が、前記電極と前記他の電極とが交差するのを防止するために形成された2つの側を備えたギャップを有し、前記ギャップが、前記電極を、第1の側と第2の側とに分断し、
前記電極と前記他の電極とが、単一の表面に形成された、請求項5に記載の照明デバイス。 - 前記電極の前記第1の側が、前記電極および前記他の電極の高さと異なる高さの導電ブリッジを介して、前記ギャップを横切って前記電極の前記第2の側に電気接続され、
垂直に延在する接触構造が、前記導電ブリッジを、前記電極の第1の側および第2の側に電気接続する、請求項7に記載の照明デバイス。 - 前記導電ブリッジが、前記電極および前記他の電極の表面より低い高さに形成された、請求項8に記載の照明デバイス。
- 前記導電ブリッジが、反射導体を備える、請求項8に記載の照明デバイス。
- 前記接触構造が、反射導体を備える、請求項8に記載の照明デバイス。
- 前記接触構造が、前記光方向転換フィーチャの一部を構成する、請求項11に記載の照明デバイス。
- 前記補助構造が、受動電気デバイスを形成する、請求項3に記載の照明デバイス。
- 前記補助構造が、能動電気デバイスを形成する、請求項3に記載の照明デバイス。
- 前記凹所の少なくとも一部をコーティングする前記材料が、前記凹所の少なくとも一部の中を延在する異なる材料の複数の層の一部である、請求項1に記載の照明デバイス。
- 前記複数の層が、干渉構造を形成する、請求項15に記載の照明デバイス。
- 前記補助構造が、前記凹所の少なくとも一部の中に前記干渉構造を形成する前記複数の層と対応する材料のスタックで形成された干渉スタックを備える、請求項16に記載の照明デバイス。
- 前記干渉スタックが、前記干渉スタックの頂部表面に当たる光より、前記干渉スタックの底部表面に当たる光をより多く反射するように構成された、請求項17に記載の照明デバイス。
- 前記ライトガイドが、反射型ディスプレイの上に配置されている、請求項1に記載の照明デバイス。
- 反射型ディスプレイが、干渉変調器を備えた表示素子を備える、請求項19に記載の照明デバイス。
- 前記ライトガイドによって照明されることができるディスプレイと、
前記ディスプレイと通信するように構成されたプロセッサであって、画像データを処理するように構成されたプロセッサと、
前記プロセッサと通信するように構成された記憶デバイスと
をさらに備える、請求項1に記載の照明デバイス。 - 少なくとも1つの信号を前記ディスプレイに送信するように構成されたドライバ回路をさらに備える、請求項21に記載の照明デバイス。
- 前記画像データの少なくとも一部を前記ドライバ回路に送るように構成されたコントローラをさらに備える、請求項22に記載の照明デバイス。
- 前記画像データを前記プロセッサに送るように構成された画像源モジュールをさらに備える、請求項21に記載の照明デバイス。
- 前記画像源モジュールが、受信機、トランシーバおよび送信機のうちの少なくとも1つを備える、請求項24に記載の照明デバイス。
- 入力データを受け取り、かつ、前記入力データを前記プロセッサに送るように構成された入力デバイス
をさらに備える、請求項21に記載の照明デバイス。 - 光方向転換フィーチャを備えるライトガイド上に材料を堆積するステップであって、前記光方向転換フィーチャが、下に向かって前記ライトガイド中に延在して、前記ライトガイド上に形成される凹所を備える、ステップと、
補助構造を形成するために堆積された前記材料をエッチングするステップであって、同時に、前記ライトガイド上に形成される凹所中に、前記材料の一部を残す、ステップと、

前記ライトガイドが、頂部表面を有し、
前記光方向転換フィーチャが、前記ライトガイドの頂部表面上に形成され、
前記材料が、前記ライトガイドの頂部表面上に堆積され、
前記補助構造が、前記ライトガイドの頂部表面上に形成され、前記光方向転換フィーチャから分離される、統合された照明デバイスを製造する方法。 - 前記材料が、金属を含む、請求項27に記載の方法。
- 補助構造を形成するために前記材料をエッチングするステップが、細長い電極を形成するために前記材料をエッチングするステップを含む、請求項28に記載の方法。
- 導電性の物体の近接を感知することができる接触感知電極システムに前記電極を接続するステップをさらに含む、請求項29に記載の方法。
- 前記接触感知電極システムに前記電極を接続するステップにおいて、前記接触感知電極システムを、人の指の近接を感知することができるように形成する、請求項30に記載の方法。
- 補助構造を形成するために前記材料をエッチングするステップにおいて、前記補助構造を、ディスプレイの可視表面全体にわたって延在する導電性トレースを備えるように形成する、請求項29に記載の方法。
