b. 光源光を発生するよう構成され、任意に平行光学系を有する、LED光源であって、平行光学系を有する前記LED光源は、前記光源光の少なくとも一部を、前記導波路素子の前記導波路端を介して、前記導波路素子へとつなぐよう構成される、LED光源;
を含み、
前記第1面は、第2面光(以後、理解の目的で“ダウンライト”として述べられることも多い)を供するために、前記第2面を介する前記導波路素子からの光の少なくとも一部をつなぐよう構成された機構を含み、
当該照明デバイスは更に、キャビティであって、光が、前記導波路素子から当該キャビティへと脱出することができるよう構成された、キャビティを含み、前記キャビティは、当該キャビティの1つの壁として反射体を含み、前記反射体は、第1面光(以後、理解の目的で“アップライト”と述べられることも多い)を供するために、前記第2面から離れる方向に、前記キャビティ内の光の少なくとも一部を反射するよう構成される、

図3aと同じ実施形態を概略的に描く。ヒートシンク55は、また、任意の拡散器40及び/又はグレア抑制光学系30と、物理的に接触していても良い。したがって、拡散器40及び/又はグレア抑制光学系30で発生した熱も、ヒートシンク55を介して放散し得る。
簡易の実施形態は、上面側上に、スクリーン印刷された(又はインクジェット印刷された)パターンである、光取り出し用の(outcoupling)ドット又はストライプ(“白色ペイント”)のを有して供された、透明高分子(例えば、PMMA)の長方形の導光板からなり得る。LEDアレイからの光は、(好ましくは)視準を合わされ、導波路へと投入される。ドットパターンの密集度は、光が、導波路の全領域に亘って均一につながれるような方法で、最適化される。放出された光は、プリズムのプレート又は箔(MLO(照明用マイクロオプティクスプレート(micro lighting optics plate)/プリズムプレート(prismatic plate)(WO2006097859))といった)によって視準を合わされ得る。このプレートは、効果的なグレア制御を保証する。ドットパターンは、LightTools 6.1.(供給先:Optical Research Associateds)で、Backlight Pattern Optimiser(BPO)を使用して最適化され得る。
Claims (13)
- a.第1面、第2面及び導波路端部を含む、導波路素子;
b.光源光を発生するよう配置された、任意の視準光学系を有する、LED光源;
を含む、照明デバイスであって、当該照明デバイスは、
前記任意の視準光学系を有する前記LED光源は、前記光源光の少なくとも一部を、前記導波路素子の前記導波路端部を介して、前記導波路素子へと、つなぐように配置され、
前記第1面は、第2面光を供するために、前記光の少なくとも一部を、前記第2面を介して前記導波路素子の外につなぐように配置された機構を含み、
前記照明デバイスは更に、キャビティであって、光が、前記導波路素子から当該キャビティへと脱出できるように配置された、キャビティを含み、前記キャビティは、当該キャビティの1つの壁として反射体を含み、前記反射体は、第1面光を供するために、前記キャビティ内の光の少なくとも一部を、前記第2面から離れる方向に、反射するよう配置され、
前記キャビティは、調節可能なキャビティ開口部であって、当該調節可能なキャビティ開口部を介して前記キャビティから脱出する前記第1面光の量を制御するよう調整される調節可能なキャビティ開口部、及び/又は調節可能な反射体であって、前記キャビティ内での当該調節可能な反射体の高さが、当該調節可能な反射体で前記導波路素子へと戻る反射を制御するよう調整される調節可能な反射体を更に含む、
