Description
本発明で提案される印刷インキまたは印刷ワニスは、照射非硬化性のポリカーボネート、好ましくは、照射非硬化性の芳香族ポリカーボネートを、特に密着促進剤および/またはバインダー剤として、含む印刷インキまたは印刷ワニスにおいて、
前記ポリカーボネートが照射硬化性モノマーと共に含まれており、特に前記ポリカーボネートが前記照射硬化性モノマーに溶解していることを特徴とする、印刷インキまたは印刷ワニスである。
A)バインダー剤としての、少なくとも1種のポリカーボネート、好ましくは、gem−ジヒドロキシジフェニルシクロアルカン(2つのヒドロキシフェニル基が対になって結合した(同一炭素に結合した)環式アルカン化合物)から生成された、少なくとも1種のポリカーボネート、および
B)溶剤としての、照射硬化性モノマー(好ましくは、紫外線硬化性モノマー)または照射硬化性モノマーの混合物、
を含む印刷インキまたは印刷ワニスである。

(本発明にかかるバインダー剤として好適なポリカーボネートの調製)
前述の式(Ih)で表される様々なポリカーボネートを、以下のように調製した。
ビスフェノールA(2,2−ビス−(4−ヒドロキシフェニル)プロパン)205.7g(0.90モル)、1,1−ビス−(4−ヒドロキシフェニル)−3,3,5−トリメチルシクロヘキサン30.7g(0.10モル)、および水酸化カリウム336.6g(6モル)を、水2700gに不活性ガス雰囲気下で攪拌溶解させた。次に、フェノール溶液1.88gを、塩化メチレン2500mlに投入した。さらに、ホスゲン198g(2モル)を、pH13〜14および21〜25℃の条件下で、十分に攪拌された溶液に投入した。次に、エチルピペリジン1mlを投入し、その混合物をさらに45分間攪拌した。ビスフェノレートを含まない水相を分離し、有機相をリン酸で中和し、当該有機相を水洗した後、溶媒を除去した。このようにして調製されたポリカーボネート1は、溶液相対粘度が1.255であった。
ポリカーボネート1の場合と同様の条件下で、ビスフェノールA181.4g(0.79モル)と1,1−ビス−(4−ヒドロキシフェニル)−3,3,5−トリメチルシクロヘキサン63.7g(0.21モル)との混合物を反応させてポリカーボネートを調製した。
ポリカーボネート1の場合と同様の条件下で、ビスフェノールA149.0g(0.65モル)と1,1−ビス−(4−ヒドロキシフェニル)−3,3,5−トリメチルシクロヘキサン107.9g(0.35モル)との混合物を反応させてポリカーボネートを調製した。
ポリカーボネート1の場合と同様の条件下で、ビスフェノールA91.6g(0.40モル)と1,1−ビス−(4−ヒドロキシフェニル)−3,3,5−トリメチルシクロヘキサン185.9g(0.60モル)との混合物を反応させてポリカーボネートを調製した。
ポリカーボネート1の場合と同様の条件下で、ビスフェノールA44.2g(0.19モル)と1,1−ビス−(4−ヒドロキシフェニル)−3,3,5−トリメチルシクロヘキサン250.4g(0.81モル)との混合物を反応させてポリカーボネートを調製した。
本発明を例示するために、以下のスクリーン印刷インキを調製した。

本発明のさらなるスクリーン印刷用インキを調製するために、バインダー剤である前述のポリカーボネート5(Bayer Material Science社)30重量%を、紫外線硬化性モノマーである4−(1−オキソ−2−プロペニル)モルホリン70重量%に溶解させた。

- A)バインダー剤として、gem−ジヒドロキシジフェニルシクロアルカンから生成された、少なくとも1種の照射非硬化性の芳香族ポリカーボネートと、
B)溶剤として、アクリレート、メタクリレート、ビニルエーテル、およびエチレン二重結合を有する含窒素化合物から選択される少なくとも1種の照射硬化性モノマーと、
を含む、印刷インキまたは印刷ワニスにおいて、
印刷インキまたは印刷ワニスは、液状印刷インキまたは印刷ワニスであり、
ポリカーボネートは溶剤に溶解しており、かつ、溶剤は、印刷インキまたは印刷ワニス中で硬化すると、当該印刷インキまたは印刷ワニス内で化学的に架橋し、
ポリカーボネートのガラス転移温度は、印刷対象基材のガラス転移温度よりも高いことを特徴とする、印刷インキまたは印刷ワニス。 - 請求項1において、照射硬化性モノマーが、異なる種類のモノマーの混合物であるか、または単一種類の照射硬化性モノマーがポリカーボネートを溶解していることを特徴とする、印刷インキまたは印刷ワニス。
- 請求項1または2において、照射硬化性モノマーが、紫外線硬化性および/または電子線硬化性であることを特徴とする、印刷インキまたは印刷ワニス。
- 請求項1から3のいずれか一項において、光重合開始剤を含むことを特徴とする、印刷インキまたは印刷ワニス。
