Description
本実施の形態では、本発明のアントラセン誘導体について説明する。
本発明のアントラセン誘導体を用いた発光素子の一態様について図1(A)を用いて以下に説明する。
本実施の形態では、実施の形態2で示した構成と異なる構成の発光素子について説明する。
本実施の形態では、実施の形態2および実施の形態3で示した構成と異なる構成の発光素子について説明する。

本実施の形態は、本発明に係る発光ユニットを複数積層した構成の発光素子(以下、積層型素子という)について、図3を参照して説明する。この発光素子は、第1の電極と第2の電極との間に、複数の発光ユニットを有する発光素子である。各発光ユニットの構成としては、実施の形態2〜実施の形態6で示した構成と同様な構成を用いることができる。つまり、実施の形態2〜実施の形態6で示した発光素子は、1つの発光ユニットを有する発光素子である。本実施の形態では、複数の発光ユニットを有する発光素子について説明する。
本実施の形態では、本発明のアントラセン誘導体を用いて作製された発光装置について説明する。
本実施の形態では、実施の形態8に示す発光装置を含む本発明の電子機器について説明する。本発明の電子機器は、実施の形態1に示したアントラセン誘導体を含み、長寿命の表示部を有する。また、消費電力の低減された表示部を有する。

まず、ガラス基板2101上に、酸化珪素を含むインジウムスズ酸化物をスパッタリング法にて成膜し、第1の電極2102を形成した。なお、その膜厚は110nmとし、電極面積は2mm×2mmとした。
本実施例7で作製した発光素子2は、発光層において、2YGAPPAに換えて2PCAPPAを用いた以外は、実施例6の発光素子1と同様にして作製した。すなわち図10に示すように、CzPAと構造式(132)で表される2PCAPPAとを共蒸着することにより、正孔輸送層2104上に30nmの膜厚の発光層2105を形成した以外は、発光素子1と同様にして発光素子2の他の層を作製した。なお、CzPAと2PCAPPAとの重量比は、1:0.05(=CzPA:2PCAPPA)となるように調整した。
本実施例8で作製した発光素子3は、発光層において、2YGAPPAに換えて2DPAPPAを用いた以外は、実施例6の発光素子1と同様にして作製した。すなわち図10に示すように、CzPAと構造式(101)で表される2DPAPPAとを共蒸着することにより、正孔輸送層2104上に30nmの膜厚の発光層2105を形成した以外は、発光素子1と同様にして発光素子3の他の層を作製した。なお、CzPAと2DPAPPAとの重量比は、1:0.1(=CzPA:2DPAPPA)となるように調整した。
