Description
本出願は、2010年7月7日出願の米国特許出願シリアル番号第12/832,030号(その全体が参照により本明細書に組み込まれる)の一部継続(CIP)出願である。本出願は2011年11月10日出願の米国仮特許出願第61/558,055号「Reaction Casette、Assay Device、and Assay Method」(その全体が参照により全目的で本明細書に組み込まれる)に対する優先権を主張する。
Claims (9)
- 生化学アッセイ装置であって、生化学アッセイ用反応カセットとサンプリング部材とを含み、
前記生化学アッセイ用反応カセットは、第1空間と、第2空間、第3空間及び第1仕切り壁を含み、
前記第1空間は、液体を収容するために用いられ、上方向に開口した第1開口部と、丸みを帯びた縁とを有し、
前記第2空間は、前記第1開口部に対して垂直な方向に開口した第2開口部を備え、前記第1空間と前記第2空間は、前記反応カセットが回転されると、前記液体が前記第2空間に流入するように配置され、
前記第3空間は前記第1空間の下方に配置され、上方向に開口した第3開口部を備え、前記反応カセットが逆方向に回転されると、前記液体が前記第3空間に流入し、前記第3空間内には前記液体の乱流を形成するための複数の突起が設けられ、
前記第1仕切り壁が前記第2開口部と前記第3開口部とに接続され、前記第2空間と前記第3空間との間の液体流路として作用し、
前記サンプリング部材は前記反応カセットに組み込まれ、液体試料を引き込むためのサンプリング管と、内部に吸収材が入れられた吸収区域と、液体試薬を格納するための格納容器とを含み、前記格納容器はアルミ箔で密封されており、
前記サンプリング部材は、前記サンプリング管横に配置された横梁上に設けられ、かつ、前記アルミ箔に一端が付着された突起体をさらに含み、前記突起体が前記サンプリング部材と前記反応カセットの組み立て時に引っ掛かりとして作用して、前記アルミ箔を剥離する、
ことを特徴とする、生化学アッセイ装置。 - 前記反応カセットが光学グレードの透明材料から成ることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の生化学アッセイ装置。
- 前記第2空間と前記第3空間との間に、前記液体を円滑に流動させるための第1斜面が形成されることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の生化学アッセイ装置。
- 前記第3空間と前記吸収区域との間に、前記液体を円滑に流動させるための第2斜面が形成されることを特徴とする、請求項3に記載の生化学アッセイ装置。
- さらに内部空間を画定する外壁を含み、前記第1空間、前記第2空間、前記第3空間及び前記仕切り壁が前記内部空間内に配置され、前記外壁が前記第1空間の上方に位置する入口を含むことを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の生化学アッセイ装置。
- 前記外壁に接続された突出部を含み、前記反応カセットが誤った方向に測定器具に配置されることを防止することを特徴とする、請求項5に記載の生化学アッセイ装置。
- 前記サンプリング部材が入口から前記反応カセットに挿入され、前記反応カセットがさらに、
前記第3空間に接続され、前記第3空間と前記吸収区域との間の液体流路として作用する第2仕切り壁と、
2つの副入口を分離し、サンプリングカートリッジを前記反応カセットにガイドする第3仕切り壁と、
を含むことを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の生化学アッセイ装置。 - 前記サンプリング部材が前記吸収区域の表面上に1組の突起部を備え、前記第3仕切り壁が、前記サンプリング部材と前記反応カセットの組み立て時に前記1組の突起部の間に係止される延伸端を含むことを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の生化学アッセイ装置。
- 前記格納容器上にガイド部材が設けられ、前記サンプリング部材と前記反応カセットの組み立て時に、前記サンプリング管が前記第1空間に揃うように構成したことを特徴とする、請求項8に記載の生化学アッセイ装置。
