Description
工作機械51は、ベッド52上にレール部材53、53がZ軸方向へ延設されてなるもので、レール部材53、53にはコラム54がZ軸方向へ移動可能に取り付けられており、コラム54の前面には主軸57を有する主軸台56がY軸方向へスライド可能に設置されている。
また、ベッドに一対の壁部を所定の間隔をおいて立設するため、ベッドの上下方向での厚みが増すことになり、ベッドの曲げ剛性を向上することも可能となる。
また、ベッド2に壁部2a、2aを立設しているため、ベッド2のY軸方向での厚みが増すことになり、ベッド2自体の曲げ剛性を向上するも可能となる。
さらに、上記実施形態では主軸台6を鉛直方向へ移動させているが、上下方向へ移動するのであれば傾斜方向でもよく、たとえばコラム4の前面を傾斜面とし、主軸台6を傾斜面に沿って移動させてもよい。さらにまた、コラム4についても、その位置が水平方向で移動するのであればよいのであって、水平移動するのではなく傾斜方向へ移動(たとえば、Z軸方向が水平面と交差するように設定)しても何ら問題はない。
加えて、上記実施形態ではコラム4の上下方向で略中央となる位置に被支持部を形成しているが、被支持部を形成する位置は適宜変更設計可能であって、主軸台6の上下移動範囲内であればよい。また、被支持部を形成するにあたっては、コラム4と一体成形してもよいし、コラム4の側面等に別途部材を固定して被支持部を形成してもよい。
Claims (1)
- ベッドと、主軸を備えた主軸台と、前記主軸台が上下方向で移動可能に取り付けられているとともに、前記ベッドに対して水平方向で移動可能な支持体と、前記ベッドに設けられ、前記支持体を案内する案内部材とを備えてなる工作機械であって、
前記支持体に、前記案内部材に支持される被支持部を設けるとともに、当該被支持部を、前記支持体における前記主軸台の上下移動範囲内となる高さ位置に設ける一方、
前記ベッドに一対の壁部を所定の間隔をおいて立設するとともに、当該壁部の上端部に前記案内部材を設置し、前記支持体が、その下方部分を前記壁部間に嵌め込んだ状態で前記案内部材に支持されていることを特徴とする工作機械。
