Description

したがって、有効な制御された屈曲を備えた新しいデバイス、および医療デバイスのための可撓性シャフトを作製するための方法を提供することが望ましい。特に、従来の技術デバイスとの比較において、先端で平面偏向を達成するとともに、引張ワイヤ機構の張力によってシャフト(非偏向部分)が曲がる、または一連の「S」字状を形成することを防ぐことが望ましい。また、1つの平面内に個々の湾曲を保ち、適切な角度の偏向を達成し、複数の方向の偏向を達成することができるようなデバイスを提供することが望ましい。このような偏向デバイスは、作製が簡単で、従来の技術デバイスに比べてコストがかからず、このような方法は、デバイスを利用するために高度な技術を有するユーザを必要としない。
図12に図示したように、側面から見ると、各リングは完全に円筒形ではなく、前面194と後面196を含む。ここで図16〜17も参照すると、前面194および後面196は、隣接するリングがバネによって接合される点から外側に傾斜し、これにより、遠位部分160の屈曲が可能なV形状の空隙192を形成する。リングの傾斜面によって、隣接するリング間の移動の増加が可能になり、隣接するリングの互いにずれることを予防するずれ止めも提供する。
Claims (10)
- 可撓性内視鏡であって、
ハンドルと、
該ハンドルから延びる可撓性シャフトであって、中央管腔を画定する管状壁と、該管状壁の少なくとも一部を通って長手方向に延びる4つのより小さい管腔とを有する遠位部分を備える、可撓性シャフトと
を備え、該より小さい管腔の各々の内側には引張ワイヤが配置され、該遠位部分は、該管状壁の上に配置された材料の層をさらに備え、該層は、該材料内に第1の一連のスロットおよび第2の一連のスロットを備え、該第1の一連のスロットおよび該第2の一連のスロットは、該引張ワイヤのうちの1つ以上の移動によって該遠位部分の制御された屈曲を可能にし、
該第1の一連のスロットおよび該第2の一連のスロットは、各々、該可撓性シャフトの外周の周りにおいて互いに対して正反対の放射状の位置を有する少なくとも2つのスロットを含み、
該第2の一連のスロットは、該第1の一連のスロットから約90度オフセットされ、第1の平面および第2の平面内での該遠位部分の制御された屈曲を可能にし、
第1の引張ワイヤおよび第2の引張ワイヤが、該可撓性シャフトを該第1の平面内で屈曲させるように構成されており、そして第3の引張ワイヤおよび第4の引張ワイヤが、該可撓性シャフトを該第2の平面内で屈曲させるように構成されている、
