Description
Claims (10)
- 焼結相チタン酸アルミニウム組成物から構成されたセラミック物品を製造する方法であって、
アルミナ源、シリカ源およびチタニア源;回収された予備反応したチタン酸アルミニウム組成物または未焼成チタン酸アルミニウム前駆体組成物の少なくとも一方;および焼結助剤を含有する無機バッチ組成物と、
有機結合剤と、
液体ビヒクルと、
を含む可塑化チタン酸アルミニウム前駆体バッチ組成物を提供し、
前記可塑化チタン酸アルミニウム前駆体バッチ組成物から押出未焼成体を成形し、
成形された前記未焼成体を、前記チタン酸アルミニウム前駆体組成物を、焼結相チタン酸アルミニウムを含むセラミック組成物に転化するのに効果的な条件下で焼成する、
各工程を有してなる方法。 - 前記無機バッチ組成物が、該無機バッチ組成物の50質量パーセントまでの量で未焼成チタン酸アルミニウム前駆体組成物を含むことを特徴とする請求項1記載の方法。
- 前記未焼成チタン酸アルミニウム組成物が、微粒子であり、10μmから50μmの範囲のメジアン粒径を有することを特徴とする請求項2記載の方法。
- 前記無機バッチ組成物が、該無機バッチ組成物の25質量パーセントの量で回収された予備反応したチタン酸アルミニウム組成物を含むことを特徴とする請求項1記載の方法。
- チタン酸アルミニウム前駆体バッチ組成物であって、
アルミナ源、シリカ源およびチタニア源;回収された予備反応したチタン酸アルミニウム組成物または未焼成チタン酸アルミニウム前駆体組成物の少なくとも一方;および焼結助剤を含有する無機バッチ組成物と、
有機結合剤と、
液体ビヒクルと、
を含むチタン酸アルミニウム前駆体バッチ組成物。 - 前記無機バッチ組成物が、該無機バッチ組成物の50質量パーセントまでの量で未焼成チタン酸アルミニウム前駆体組成物を含むことを特徴とする請求項5記載のチタン酸アルミニウム前駆体バッチ組成物。
- 前記未焼成チタン酸アルミニウム組成物が、微粒子材料であり、10μmから50μmの範囲のメジアン粒径を有することを特徴とする請求項6記載のチタン酸アルミニウム前駆体バッチ組成物。
- 焼結相チタン酸アルミニウム組成物から構成されたセラミック物品を製造する方法であって、
回収された予備反応したチタン酸アルミニウム組成物または未焼成チタン酸アルミニウム前駆体組成物の少なくとも一方を含有する無機バッチ組成物と、
有機結合剤と、
液体ビヒクルと、
を含む可塑化チタン酸アルミニウム前駆体バッチ組成物を提供し、
前記可塑化チタン酸アルミニウム前駆体バッチ組成物から押出未焼成体を成形し、
成形された前記未焼成体を、前記チタン酸アルミニウム前駆体組成物を、焼結相チタン酸アルミニウムを含むセラミック組成物に転化するのに効果的な条件下で焼成する、
各工程を有してなる方法。 - 前記無機バッチ組成物が、100質量%の回収された予備反応したチタン酸アルミニウム組成物から実質的になることを特徴とする請求項8記載の方法。
- 回収された予備反応したチタン酸アルミニウム組成物または未焼成チタン酸アルミニウム前駆体組成物の少なくとも一方を含有する無機バッチ組成物と、
有機結合剤と、
液体ビヒクルと、
を含む可塑化チタン酸アルミニウム前駆体バッチ組成物。
