前記絶縁体の内周面と前記電極の外周面との間に筒状の抵抗体を設け、
前記主体金具の先端から前記主体金具の後端までの範囲内における前記抵抗体の前記軸線に沿った長さを、前記主体金具の前記軸線に沿った長さの36%以上としたことを特徴とする。

Claims (5)
- 軸線方向に延びる軸孔を有する絶縁体と、
前記絶縁体の外周に設けられた筒状の主体金具と、
前記軸孔に挿通された棒状の電極と、
前記主体金具の先端部に配置され、前記電極の先端部との間で間隙を形成する接地電極とを備えた点火プラグであって、
前記軸線に沿って、前記主体金具の先端から、前記主体金具の後端より後端側に5mmまでの範囲の少なくとも一部において、
前記絶縁体の内周面と前記電極の外周面との間に筒状の抵抗体を設け、
前記主体金具の先端から前記主体金具の後端までの範囲内における前記抵抗体の前記軸線に沿った長さを、前記主体金具の前記軸線に沿った長さの36%以上としたことを特徴とする点火プラグ。 - 前記軸孔の内径と前記主体金具の内径との径差が最小となる部分に、前記抵抗体を設けたことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の点火プラグ。
- 前記抵抗体の体積抵抗率を10ミリΩm以上としたことを特徴とする請求項1又は2に記載の点火プラグ。
- 前記抵抗体の体積抵抗率を10キロΩm以下としたことを特徴とする請求項1乃至3のいずれか1項に記載の点火プラグ。
- 前記軸線と直交する方向に沿った前記抵抗体の厚さを0.1mm以上2.5mm以下としたことを特徴とする請求項1乃至4のいずれか1項に記載の点火プラグ。
