Description
US2003/0125399(A1)の実施例Dにおいて、特に、PEG−8および1,2−ヘキサンジオール中のアルミニウムジルコニウムトリクロロハイドレートglyの20%溶液を含むエアロゾル組成物が開示されている。GB2062466(A)の実施例2において、ポリエチレングリコール400xと同様に1,2−プロピレングリコール、へキシレングリコールおよびアルコールも含むアルコール類の混合物に溶解したヒドロキシ塩化アルミニウムを含む、ゲル状のスティック組成物が開示されている。
本発明の少なくとも幾つかの実施形態の目的は、無水エアロゾル組成物中への取り込みに適した微粒子状発汗抑制剤含有基本組成物に取り込むことができる、ヒドロキシル置換基を含む液体湿潤剤を特定することであり、これはグリセロールに起因するリスクよりも小さい、閉塞のリスクを有する。
本発明の第1の態様によれば、エアロゾルディスペンサーからの放出用の無水エアロゾル組成物中への取り込みに適した無水基本組成物であり、前記基本組成物が:(i)微粒子状収斂性発汗抑制剤塩;(ii)前記微粒子状の塩のための無水担体流体;および(iii)湿潤剤を含み、該湿潤剤が20℃で液体である低分子量ポリエチレングリコールを含む、前記組成物が提供される。
本発明は、無水湿潤剤含有発汗抑制剤エアロゾル組成物中への取り込みに適した基本組成物における湿潤剤としての液体ポリエチレングリコールの選択にある。
微粒子状発汗抑制活性成分
発汗抑制活性成分である成分(i)は、微粒子状収斂性塩であり、特に塩基性アルミニウム塩などの塩基性塩である。アルミニウムクロロハイドレートを使用することが特に望ましく、それは本明細書において実験式Al2(OH)xClyを満たす物質を意味し、ここでx+y=6であり、yは標準的に少なくとも0.5であり、通常1.8以下であり、その物質は通常、結合水和水を含む。前記水和水の重量比は、通常12%以下であり、多くの場合3%から10%の範囲にある。本明細書においてアルミニウムクロロハイドレートという用語は、アルミニウムセスキクロロハイドレートなどのxおよびyが特定された数値の物質、ならびにクロロハイドレートが錯体として存在する物質を含む。ヒドロキシ塩化アルミニウム、オキシ塩化アルミニウムまたは塩基性塩化アルミニウムを含む、別の名称が、ヒドロキシル置換の存在を示すためにしばしば用いられることが認識されるであろう。
本明細書において用いられる湿潤剤および無水担体流体に通常含まれる湿潤剤は、基本的に少なくとも1つの液体ポリエチレングリコール(略称:PEG)を含む。その選択は、本発明者らによる、このような湿潤剤が同時に2つの基準に合うという確認に基づく。第1に、それらは例えば、プロピレングリコールよりも優れているおよび同様に4〜6個の炭素原子を含むグリコールよりも優れている範囲の保湿を示すことができ、第2に、それらは、グリセロール、優れた湿潤剤、またはプロピレングリコール、劣った湿潤剤が用いられる場合に生じうるノズル閉塞のリスクを、回避するかまたは少なくとも緩和することができる。単独のオリゴマーまたはポリエチレングリコールオリゴマーの混合物(ブレンド)を、用いることができる。
基本調合物は、噴霧時にエアロゾルがあるパターンの液体液滴を放出するように、粒子状の材料が懸濁されている担体流体または流体の混合物を含む。流体は20℃で液体である。種々の担体流体は、粒子状の物質用の担体としての役割をすることに加え、1つ以上の作用を提供することができ、例えば幾つかは皮膚軟化剤としての役割をし、または局所的に塗布された場合、皮膚の沈着物を隠し組成物の外観を変え、および/または組成物それ自体の匂い、または分泌から皮膚に生じる悪臭を隠し得ることが、認識されるであろう。不確かさを避けるために、本明細書において担体流体という用語は、すべての液体ポリエチレングリコールを除外するが、しかしながら以上に示されたように、液体ポリエチレングリコールは担体流体中に存在する。
エアロゾル発汗抑制剤組成物は、懸濁助剤を含むことが望ましい。適した縣濁化剤は、適切には発熱性コロイダルシリカ、ならびにベントナイトおよびヘクトライトなどのモンモリロナイトクレーなどのクレー、ならびに特に疎水性に処理された表面を有する懸濁助剤を含む。特に好ましいベントナイトは、疎水性ベントナイト、例えば登録商標Bentoneで市販の助剤、例えばBentone LT、Bentone 14、Bentone 27、Bentone 34、およびBentone 38/38Vであり、ならびに疎水性カチオン物質により処理されたベントナイトである。他の適したクレー懸濁助剤は、コロイダルケイ酸アルミニウムマグネシウムを含む。懸濁助剤を、基本組成物の少なくとも1重量%、および好ましくは少なくとも2重量%から、多くの場合8重量%まで、ならびに幾つかの望ましい実施形態においては6重量%までのレベルで使用することが有利である。懸濁助剤の発汗抑制活性成分に対する割合を算出することがしばしば有益であり、および特に、発汗抑制活性成分:懸濁助剤の重量比が3:1から6:1にあることが有益である。
噴霧剤
本発明の第2の態様による無水エアロゾル組成物は、本明細書において上述された基本組成物に加え、噴霧剤を含む。通常、該噴霧剤は、95:5から5:95の、基本組成物に対する重量比において使用され、重量比は、噴霧剤、製造業者が発生させようとする内圧およびエアロゾルキャニスターの構造の選択に実際には左右されて選ばれる。噴霧剤によって、このようなエアロゾル組成物における噴霧剤の、基本組成物に対する比は、通常少なくとも20:80未満、一般に少なくとも30:70、特に、少なくとも40:60、および多くの調合物において重量比は90:10から50:50であり、そのうちの比の範囲は70:30から90:10が、場合によっては好ましい。特に適した比は、3:1、4:1または7:1の範囲にあり、例えば全組成物の噴霧剤の割合は、75%、80%または87.5%それぞれの、+/−1%または1.5%内である。
本発明によるエアロゾル製品は、第1に、後から加える予定の任意の成分を除いた基本組成物の成分を、容器中で一緒に混合すること、微粒子状発汗抑制活性成分を懸濁するために混合物を撹拌すること、混合された基本組成物をエアロゾルキャニスターに装入することおよび基本組成物中に前もって混合されていない任意の他の成分を、前後にまたは同時に別個に装入すること、バルブを含む放出管をエアロゾルキャニスターに取り付けて密封することならびに放出管を通して噴霧剤ガスをキャニスターに注入すること、により好都合に作ることができる。
本発明の基本組成物を、皮膚に、および特に腋の下(腋窩)に、従来の液体組成物用の噴霧方法で噴霧することができる。非常に好都合には、基本組成物を、エアロゾルキャニスターから噴霧するより前に、噴霧剤と混合することができる。キャニスターを、望ましくは腋窩から12から18cmの間の距離をおいたところで保持し、放出管のバルブを開く。組成物を、通常の時間、例えば腋窩ごとに約2から5秒などの間、使用者の判断次第で噴霧することができる。
この試験では、皮膚の水和が改善される程度を、3つの調合物について測定した。F1(対照)は、参考対照として4重量%のヘリアンサス・アンヌス(Helianthis Annuus)を含むエアロゾル基本組成物より成り、F2は、4重量%のPEG−400(同量のシクロメチコンの代わりに)を追加で含み、しかし他の点ではF1と同一である組成物より成り、およびF3(比較例)は、4重量%のグリセロール(同量のシクロメチコンの代わりに)を追加で含み、しかし他の点ではFlと同一である。
この試験では、本発明によるPEGポリマーの取り込みにより得られた皮膚弾力性の向上が、F1を、ポリグリコール400の代わりに4%のポリグリコール200を用いる組成物F4と比較することにより測定された。
(実施例16)
この実施例においては、本発明による組成物の皮膚状態調整を、ポリエチレングリコールを含まない対照組成物による状態と比較した。
計測を30名の女性被験者に実施した。
Claims (30)
- (i)微粒子状収斂性発汗抑制剤塩、
(ii)無水担体流体、および
(iii)湿潤剤
を含む、エアロゾルディスペンサーからの放出用の無水エアロゾル組成物中への取り込みに適した無水基本組成物であり、前記湿潤剤が20℃で液体である低分子量ポリエチレングリコールを含む、前記組成物。 - 前記基本組成物が、125ミクロンより大きい直径を有する粒子を0.3%容量以下で含む、請求項1に記載の組成物。
- 前記組成物が、100ミクロンより大きい直径を有する粒子を1%容量以下で含む、請求項1に記載の組成物。
- 前記組成物が、100ミクロンより大きい直径を有する粒子を含まない、請求項3に記載の組成物。
- 前記ポリエチレングリコールが、620以下の平均分子量を有する、請求項1に記載の組成物。
- 前記ポリエチレングリコールが、150以上の平均分子量を有する、請求項1に記載の組成物。
- 前記ポリエチレングリコールが、190から420の平均分子量を有する、請求項6に記載の組成物。
- 実質的にエチレングリコールダイマーを含まない、請求項1に記載の組成物。
- 前記ポリエチレングリコールの重量が、前記微粒子状発汗抑制剤塩の重量に対し、1/4以下である、請求項1に記載の組成物。
- 前記ポリエチレングリコールと前記微粒子状発汗抑制剤塩の重量比が、1:25から1:6である、請求項9に記載の組成物。
- 10重量%から50重量%の(i)、
35重量%から85重量%の(ii)、
1重量%から6重量%の(iii)および
0重量%から10重量%の香料
を含む、請求項1に記載の組成物。 - 30重量%から45重量%の(i)および
40重量%から60重量%の(ii)
を含む、請求項11に記載の組成物。 - 前記担体流体が、揮発性シリコーン油を含む、請求項1に記載の組成物。
- シリコーン油および/または非シリコーン油である非揮発性油を更に含む、請求項13に記載の組成物。
- 前記非揮発性油の重量比が、前記基本組成物の15から45%である、請求項13に記載の組成物。
- 前記揮発性シリコーン油の重量比が、前記基本組成物の15から45%である、請求項13に記載の組成物。
- 前記揮発性シリコーン油および前記非揮発性油が、5:1から1:2の範囲の重量比で存在する、請求項13に記載の組成物。
- 前記揮発性シリコーン油および前記非揮発性油が、3:2から2:3の範囲の重量比で存在する、請求項17に記載の組成物。
- 前記非揮発性油が、少なくとも1.45の屈折率を有する脂肪族エーテル油、芳香族エステル油およびアリール置換シリコーン油から選択される1つ以上の油を含む、請求項13に記載の組成物。
- 前記非揮発性油が、12〜30個の炭素原子を含む水非混和性分枝鎖脂肪族アルコールを、前記基本組成物に基づき0.25から2.5重量%含む、請求項13に記載の組成物。
- 前記非揮発性油が、トリグリセリドエステル油を0.25から6重量%含む、請求項13に記載の組成物。
- 前記基本組成物が、懸濁助剤をさらに含む、請求項1から21のいずれかに記載の組成物。
- 前記懸濁助剤が微粒子状クレーである、請求項22に記載の組成物。

- 基本組成物の、噴霧剤に対する重量比が、20:80から5:95の範囲で選択される、請求項26に記載のエアロゾル組成物。
- 基本組成物の噴霧剤に対する重量比が、30:70から10:90の範囲で選択される、請求項27に記載のエアロゾル組成物。
- 直径が300から800ミクロンのノズル開口部を有するエアロゾルディスペンサーに入れられる、請求項26に記載の無水エアロゾル組成物を含む、エアロゾル製品。
- 請求項1に記載の組成物を局所的に皮膚に塗布することを含む、同時に発汗を抑制しおよび皮膚の乾燥を改善するかまたは防ぐ、非治療的方法。
