Description
本出願は、Wilsonらによる「Stentless Support Structure」と題される2005年5月27日出願の米国仮特許出願第60/685,349号と、Wilsonらによる「Stentless Support Structure」と題される2005年8月18日出願の米国仮特許出願第60/709,595号とに関連し、これらの優先権の利益を主張する。これらの出願は、本明細書において参考として援用される。本出願はまた、本出願と共に同日に本出願人によって出願された「Intravascular Cuff」と題される米国特許出願第 号と、「Intravascular Cuff」と題される2005年5月27日出願の米国仮特許出願第60/685,433号とを参考として援用する。

Claims (20)
- ステントレス支持構造であって、

を備え、該管状構造は、第1端と、第2端と、該第1端と該第2端との間の細長い本体とを有し、該細長い本体は、第1の構成および第2の構成を有し、該第1の構成は、送達カテーテルの内側でとられ、該第2の構成は、標的部位への送達中にとられ、
それにより、該第1の構成において、該細長い本体は、折り返されていない構成を有し、
それにより、該第2の構成において、該細長い本体は、該第1の構成に存在しない少なくとも2つの折り返しを含み、それにより、3つ以上の層を有する該本体の断面を作成する、ステントレス支持構造。 - 前記少なくとも1つの折り返しは、前記第2の構成において、長手方向に前記本体を縮める、請求項1に記載のステントレス支持構造。
