Claims (4)
- 吸気系に再循環する排気ガス量を調整する再循環弁、及び内燃機関の燃焼状態を検出する燃焼状態検出手段を備え、燃焼状態検出手段が、点火プラグの電極を流れるイオン電流または筒内圧力を検出するものであり、その検出した燃焼状態に応じて再循環弁を制御して再循環する排気ガス量を調整する内燃機関の排気ガス再循環制御方法において、
燃焼が所定の条件を満たす場合に前記排気ガス量を制御するものであって、
燃焼状態検出手段を介して検出されるイオン電流または筒内圧力が閾値を上回る時点が、排気ガス再循環により燃費率がほぼ最小値となる燃費ボトム運転状態においてイオン電流または筒内圧力が同閾値を上回る時点よりも遅いことを前記所定の条件に含む、内燃機関の排気ガス再循環制御方法。 - 燃焼状態検出手段を介して検出されるイオン電流または筒内圧力が閾値を下回る時点が、前記燃費ボトム運転状態においてイオン電流または筒内圧力が同閾値を下回る時点よりも遅いことを前記所定の条件に含む、請求項1記載の内燃機関の排気ガス再循環制御方法。
- 前記排気ガス量の制御は、再循環弁の開度に対する補正ゲインを乗算することにより実施する請求項1又は2記載の内燃機関の排気ガス再循環制御方法。
- 補正ゲインは、燃焼状態検出手段を介して検出されるイオン電流または筒内圧力が閾値を上回る時点をクランク角度により検出し、そのクランク角度が前記燃費ボトム運転状態においてイオン電流または筒内圧力が同閾値を上回る時点に対応するクランク角度となるように決定する請求項3記載の内燃機関の排気ガス再循環制御方法。
