Claims (6)
- 外周に懸架装置を構成するナックルに取り付けるための車体取付フランジを一体に有し、内周に複列の外側転走面が一体に形成された外方部材と、
一端部に車輪を取り付けるための車輪取付フランジを一体に有し、外周に軸方向に延びる小径段部が形成されたハブ輪、およびこのハブ輪の小径段部に嵌合された内輪または等速自在継手の外側継手部材からなり、外周に前記複列の外側転走面に対向する複列の内側転走面が形成された内方部材と、
この内方部材および前記外方部材のそれぞれの転走面間に転動自在に収容された複列の転動体とを備え、
前記車体取付フランジに締結ボルトが螺合する複数のねじ孔が形成された車輪用軸受装置において、
前記車体取付フランジのインナー側のフランジ面が、機械加工によって平坦な鉛直面に形成されると共に、肉厚が径方向外方に向って漸次減少するように、当該車体取付フランジのアウター側のフランジ面が、鍛造加工によって形成された所定の傾斜角からなるテーパ面を備え、この傾斜角が5〜20°の範囲に設定されていることを特徴とする車輪用軸受装置。 - 前記車体取付フランジのアウター側のフランジ面が、フランジ基部から径方向外方に延びる平坦な鉛直面を備えている請求項1に記載の車輪用軸受装置。
- 前記ねじ孔の中心部における前記車体取付フランジの肉厚が、当該ねじ孔の呼びねじピッチの6倍以上に設定されている請求項1または2に記載の車輪用軸受装置。
- 前記車体取付フランジが円周方向に不連続に形成され、その突出する複数の部位に前記ねじ孔が形成されると共に、前記車体取付フランジを挟んでインナー側に前記ナックルに内嵌される円筒状の嵌合面と、アウター側に僅かに傾斜した外周面が形成され、この外周面と前記車体取付フランジとの交差部に前記ねじ孔に係合する円弧状の隅部が鍛造加工により形成されている請求項1乃至3いずれかに記載の車輪用軸受装置。
- 前記隅部における前記ねじ孔に対応する位置に軸方向に延びる凹所が形成されている請求項4に記載の車輪用軸受装置。
- 前記嵌合面が前記外周面よりも小径に設定されている請求項4または5に記載の車輪用軸受装置。
