Description
インバータ10は、高電圧バッテリー30からエネルギーを受けてモータ駆動に必要な3相交流を供給し、その制御装置であるモータ制御装置50は、ハイブリッド制御装置40の指令を受けてモータ制御を担当する。
一方、ハイブリッド車両の加速ペダルは、電子式ペダル(ETC)形式を使用し、運転者が加速ペダルを踏むと運転者要求トルク形態に転換され、車速に従って適切な要求トルクが決定される。
即ち、運転者要求トルクは、加速ペダルセンサーの検出値、車速に対するマッピング座標にて設定され、決定された要求トルクによってモータ、発電機、エンジンの運転点が決定される。
このような目的達成のための一つのモードとして、ハイブリッド自動車は、燃費および排気改善のために、アイドリングストップ(燃費向上のために車両が停止し、エンジンが空回転する間、エンジンを停止する機能)モードがある。このアイドリングストップモードは、ハイブリッド自動車の燃費および排気性能改善技術の一つとして不必要なエンジンの回転を防止し、燃費および排気性能の向上を図るものである。
即ち、アイドリングストップモードに進入する際、エンジンとモータの制御およびCVTの制御が完璧に一致する場合に車両の衝撃と振動現象がないアイドリングストップモードを実現することができるが、特に、CVTのオイル温度とエンジンの冷却水温、そして減速度によって大きく影響を受ける。
即ち、常に同一車速でアイドリングストップモードへの進入車速を決定し、モータの反力制御によりCVT油圧がオープンされる時間を待った後、アイドリングストップモードへの進入制御が行われるため、エンジンオフとモータトルクがオンとなる時期上の不一致が生じて車両の衝撃と振動が発生する原因となり、更に、減速度による補償なしにアイドリングストップモードの進入がなされ、車両の衝撃現象が加重される原因となる。
更に、クラッチの油圧が完全に抜ける時間が実際の目標値と異なり、ドレーンが遅いため車両の衝撃および振動現象が発生する原因となっている。
また、アイドリングストップモード進入時、別のセンサーやアクチュエーターがなくとも衝撃発生原因をなくすことができるため、追加費用なしに車両の衝撃および振動現象を防止することができ、モータ制御時に使用されるエネルギーを減らすと共に、燃費の向上を図ることができる。
ハイブリッド車両(HEV)のシステム構成は図2に示す通り、車両走行用駆動源として互いに直結したエンジン100およびモータ200、動力伝達のためのクラッチおよび変速機(CVT)90、エンジンおよびモータなどの駆動のためのインバータ10、DC/DCコンバータ20、高電圧バッテリー30などを含め、更にこれらの制御手段として、互いにCAN通信により通信が可能となるように連結されるハイブリッド制御装置40、モータ制御装置(MCU)50、バッテリー制御装置(BMS)60、エンジン制御装置(ECU)70およびトランスミッション制御装置(TCU)80などを含む。
インバータ10は、高電圧バッテリー30からエネルギーを受けてモータ駆動に必要な3相交流を供給し、その制御装置であるモータ制御装置50は、ハイブリッド制御装置40の指令を受けてモータ制御を担当する。
一方、ハイブリッド車両の加速ペダルは、電子式ペダル(ETC)形式を使用し、運転者が加速ペダルを踏むと運転者要求トルク形態に転換され、車速に従って適切な要求トルクが決定される。
即ち、運転者要求トルクは、加速ペダルセンサーの検出値、車速に対するマッピング座標にて設定され、決定された要求トルクによってモータ、発電機、エンジンの運転点が決定される。
アイドリングストップモードは、燃費向上のために、車両が停止してエンジンが空回転(Idle)する間、エンジンを停止する機能であり、エンジンとモータ、CVTの制御が完璧に一致する場合に完璧なアイドリングストップモードを実現することができる。
通常のアイドリングストップモードの進入のための制御フローは、ハイブリッド制御装置(HCU)がECUとTCU、そしてFATCにアイドリングストップモード進入シグナルを送る段階、前記TCUがクラッチをオープンさせてエンジンとモータの動力が車両に伝達されるのを遮断する段階、前記ECUがエンジンをオフにさせてエンジン動力の伝達を遮断する段階とからなる。
図1は、本発明によるハイブリッド車両のアイドリングストップモードの制御方法を説明する順序図であり、図3は本発明によるアイドリングストップモードの制御方法についての動作プロファイルを示すグラフである。
そこで、CVTの油温と減速度に従って、ハイブリッド車両がアイドリングストップモード進入車速に到達する時、前記CVTのための別のシグナルである“I/Stop for TCU”シグナルをハイブリッド制御装置からTCUに予め転送する。
従って、前記TCUの制御として、CVTのクラッチが予めオープンされ、エンジン動力が遮断される。
そこで、前記CVTクラッチのオープンと共に、CVTの油圧が完全に抜けた状態で、ECUによりエンジンがオフになり、前記ハイブリッド制御装置によりモータを相殺トルクで制御する。
言い換えると、CVTクラッチの油圧が完全排出(Full Drain)される時、エンジンを停止し、車両に伝達されるトルクをなくし、モータを相殺トルクで制御し、従来発生していた車両の衝撃および振動現象を防止することができる。

Claims (1)
- ハイブリッド車両がアイドリングストップモードへ進入時、無段変速機(以下、CVTと称す)クラッチの油圧が完全に抜ける油圧ドレーン時間と、エンジンの最終オフ時間と、モータの最終制御時間を一致させる制御を行うハイブリッド車両のアイドリングストップモードの制御方法であって、
(1)ハイブリッド制御装置(以下、HCUと称す)が、“I/Stop for TCU”というシグナルを作る段階と、
(2)前記HCUが、ハイブリッド車両がアイドリングストップモード進入車速に到達する時、前記“I/Stop for TCU”シグナルをトランスミッション制御装置(以下、TCUと称す)及びエンジン制御装置(以下、ECUと称す)に送る段階と、
(3)前記TCUが、前記CVTのクラッチをオープンしてエンジンの動力伝達を遮断する段階と、
(4)前記ECUが、前記CVTの油圧が完全に抜けた状態でエンジンをオフする段階と、
(5)前記HCUによりモータを相殺トルクで制御する段階と、からなり、
前記“I/Stop for TCU”というシグナルは、前記CVTクラッチの油温と減速度を基にして前記TCUのためのアイドリングストップモード進入許容車速条件を設定したマップを通して作られることを特徴とするハイブリッド車両のアイドリングストップモードの制御方法。
