Description
NH2−Ar1−SO2−Ar2−NH2
(式中、Ar1およびAr2は、炭素原子の任意の非置換もしくは置換6員環芳香族基であり、Ar1およびAr2は同じまたは異なるものである)

本実施例は、PSAステープルファイバーと、m−アラミドステープルファイバーと、p−アラミドステープルファイバーと、帯電防止ポリアミドステープルファイバーとの均質ブレンドの難燃性紡績糸および布を例示する。PSAステープルファイバーは、ジメチルアセトアミド中で等モル量の塩化テレフタロイルと共重合させた4,4’ジアミノジフェニルスルホンと3,3’ジアミノジフェニルスルホンとから製造されたポリマーから製造され、Tanlon(登録商標)の一般名称で公知である。m−アラミド繊維は、ポリ(メタフェニレンイソフタルアミド)ポリマーから製造され、商標NOMEX(登録商標)繊維でE.I.du Pont de Nemours & Companyによって市販されている。p−アラミド繊維は、ポリ(フェニレンテレフタルアミド)ポリマーから製造され、Kevlar(登録商標)29の商標でE.I.du Pont de Nemours & Companyによって市販されている。帯電防止ポリアミドステープルファイバーは、ナイロン鞘とカーボン芯とを有し、(Invistaから入手可能な)P−140ナイロン繊維として公知である。
型紙によって布を布原型にカットし、これらの原型を縫い合わせて産業で保護衣として使用するための防護カバーオールを形成することによって、衣類をはじめとする保護物品へ実施例1の布を仕立て上げる。同様に、布を布原型にカットし、これらの原型を縫い合わせて防護シャツおよび1対の防護ズボン1着を含む保護衣組み合わせを形成する。必要ならば、布をカットし、縫って、カバーオール、頭巾、袖、およびエプロンなどの他の保護衣構成要素を形成する。
次に、本発明の好ましい態様を示す。
1 糸中のポリマーステープルファイバー、低熱収縮繊維、帯電防止繊維、および難燃性繊維の合計で100重量部を基準として;
4,4’ジアミノジフェニルスルホン、3,3’ジアミノジフェニルスルホン、およびそれらの混合物からなる群より選択されたモノマーから誘導されたポリマーまたはコポリマーを含有する少なくとも25重量部のポリマーステープルファイバーと;
2〜15重量部の低熱収縮繊維と;
1〜5重量部の帯電防止繊維と;
21以上の限界酸素指数を有する難燃性繊維である残部と
を含む難燃性紡績糸。
2 前記ポリマーステープルファイバーが50〜75重量部の量で存在する上記1に記載の難燃性紡績糸。
3 前記ポリマーステープルファイバーが60〜70重量部の量で存在する上記2に記載の難燃性紡績糸。
4 前記ポリマーステープルファイバーに使用されるポリマーまたはコポリマーの少なくとも80モルパーセントがスルホンアミンモノマーまたはスルホンアミンモノマーの混合物から誘導される上記1に記載の難燃性紡績糸。
5 前記高分子ポリマーが、塩化テレフタロイル、塩化イソフタロイル、およびそれらの混合物の群より選択されたモノマーから誘導されたポリマーまたはコポリマーをさらに含有する上記1に記載の難燃性紡績糸。
6 上記1に記載の糸を含む織布。
7 上記1に記載の糸を含む防護服。
8 a)糸中のポリマー繊維、低熱収縮繊維、帯電防止繊維、および難燃性繊維の合計で100重量部を基準として、4,4’ジアミノジフェニルスルホン、3,3’ジアミノジフェニルスルホン、およびそれらの混合物からなる群より選択されたモノマーから誘導されたポリマーまたはコポリマーを含有する少なくとも25重量部のポリマーステープルファイバーと;2〜15重量部の低熱収縮繊維と;1〜5重量部の帯電防止繊維と;21以上の限界酸素指数を有する難燃性繊維である残部との繊維混合物を形成する工程と;
b)この繊維混合物を紡績スフ糸へ紡績する工程と
を含む難燃性紡績糸の製造方法。
9 前記ポリマーステープルファイバーが50〜75重量部の量で存在する上記8に記載の難燃性紡績糸の製造方法。
10 前記ポリマーステープルファイバーが60〜70重量部の量で存在する上記9に記載の難燃性紡績糸の製造方法。
11 前記ポリマーステープルファイバーに使用されるポリマーまたはコポリマーの少なくとも80モルパーセントがスルホンアミンモノマーまたはスルホンアミンモノマーの混合物から誘導される上記8に記載の難燃性紡績糸の製造方法。
12 前記高分子ポリマーが、塩化テレフタロイル、塩化イソフタロイル、およびそれらの混合物の群より選択されたモノマーから誘導されたポリマーまたはコポリマーをさらに含有する上記8に記載の難燃性紡績糸の製造方法。
Claims (4)
- 糸中のポリマーステープルファイバー、低熱収縮繊維、帯電防止繊維、および難燃性繊維の合計で100重量部を基準として;
4,4’ジアミノジフェニルスルホン、3,3’ジアミノジフェニルスルホン、およびそれらの混合物からなる群より選択されたモノマーから誘導されたポリマーまたはコポリマーを含有する少なくとも25重量部のポリマーステープルファイバーと;
2〜15重量部の低熱収縮繊維と;
1〜5重量部の帯電防止繊維と;
21以上の限界酸素指数を有する難燃性繊維である残部と
を含む難燃性紡績糸。 - 請求項1に記載の糸を含む織布。
- 請求項1に記載の糸を含む防護服。
- a)糸中のポリマー繊維、低熱収縮繊維、帯電防止繊維、および難燃性繊維の合計で100重量部を基準として、4,4’ジアミノジフェニルスルホン、3,3’ジアミノジフェニルスルホン、およびそれらの混合物からなる群より選択されたモノマーから誘導されたポリマーまたはコポリマーを含有する少なくとも25重量部のポリマーステープルファイバーと;2〜15重量部の低熱収縮繊維と;1〜5重量部の帯電防止繊維と;21以上の限界酸素指数を有する難燃性繊維である残部との繊維混合物を形成する工程と;
b)この繊維混合物を紡績スフ糸へ紡績する工程と
を含む難燃性紡績糸の製造方法。
