Claims (2)
- 内燃機関の始動後において、空燃比がリッチである状態で内燃機関の運転を確実に継続し得る限界適合噴射量を設定し、
限界適合噴射量よりも少ない燃料噴射量で運転する場合のリーン適合噴射量を設定し、
内燃機関の始動後は、燃焼が安定していると判定される場合にリーン適合噴射量によりリーン適合運転を継続する一方、燃焼が安定していないと判定される場合には限界適合噴射量により運転を行うかまたはリーン適合噴射量よりも燃料噴射量を増量して運転を行い、
リーン適合運転の開始から所定時間経過するまでに空燃比のリッチを検出しない場合には限界適合噴射量に切り替えて空燃比フィードバック制御を開始するものであり、
前記リーン適合運転の開始から所定時間経過するまでに空燃比のリッチを検出しない場合における限界適合噴射量による運転は、排気ガス中の酸素濃度を測定するためのO 2 センサが活性化したと判定されるまで継続する内燃機関の運転制御方法。 - 所定時間は、内燃機関の温度が高いほど短い時間に設定される請求項1記載の内燃機関の運転制御方法。
