Claims (4)
- 単量体を含む原料混合物の重合反応を行う重合反応槽と、
該重合反応槽内で前記原料混合物の攪拌を行う、回転可能なシャフトに取り付けられた攪拌翼と、
前記シャフトを支持する軸封軸受け部と、
を備える重合反応装置であって、
前記軸封軸受け部は、軸シール部(A)、該軸シール部(A)と前記重合反応槽との間に形成された空隙部、該空隙部と前記重合反応槽との間に設けられた軸シール部(B)、及び、前記空隙部に重合禁止剤を含有する液体を導入する液体導入口から構成される軸封部を有し、且つ、前記液体導入口から導入される前記液体が、前記空隙部から前記重合反応槽内に排出されるように構成されており、
前記軸シール部(B)がリップシールにより形成されている、重合反応装置。 - 前記軸シール部(A)がメカニカルシールにより形成されている、請求項1記載の重合反応装置。
- 請求項1又は2記載の重合反応装置を用いて重合体を製造する方法であって、
前記重合禁止剤を含有する前記液体を前記液体導入口から前記空隙部に導入しながら、前記単量体を含む前記原料混合物を前記重合反応槽内に連続的に供給し、重合反応を行う工程を有する、重合体の製造方法。 - 前記液体が、前記重合禁止剤を前記単量体に溶解させた液体である、請求項3記載の重合体の製造方法。
