Claims (1)
- 表面に浸炭焼き入れ処理された高硬度の高炭素層と内部に前記表面よりも低炭素の耐衝撃強靭組織を有する鋼製品に、直径の5〜10倍深さの直径φ0.5〜3.5mmの小径穴明けを行う超硬ツイストドリルにおいて、ドリルねじれ角γを13°〜17°と強度を保つよう小さくし、溝部心厚Wはドリル直径の0.30〜0.37倍と切削抵抗を減少させかつ切り屑の排出をよくして溶着を防ぐように小さくし、主切れ刃である第1切れ刃に対する第2切れ刃がなす第2切れ刃角θを143°〜148°として鋼製品表面の高硬度の高炭素層での切れ刃チッピングを防ぎかつ内部の耐衝撃強靭組織での切り屑の溶着を防ぐようにし、さらにウエブテーパWTはマイナスの−0.05〜−0.40mm/100とし切り屑の排出をよりよくするようにして、前記切れ刃にTi化合物、Al−Ti系化合物、Al−Cr系化合物を含む硬質被膜コーティングが施された超硬ツイストドリルであって、前記ドリルの切れ刃前縁、リーディングエッジ及び切れ刃コーナ部に微小の幅bが0.01〜0.05mmのホーニングを施して刃こぼれを防ぐようにして、かつ前記ドリルのランドの前縁と後縁にそれぞれ前縁マージン及び後縁マージンを設けて切削の安定を図るようにしたことを特徴とする超硬ツイストドリル。
