前記フルオロポリマーがポリテトラフルオロエチレンである医療用ガイドワイヤ。 - 請求項1又は2に記載の医療用ガイドワイヤであって、
交換ガイドワイヤである医療用ガイドワイヤ。 - 請求項1乃至3のうちのいずれか一項に記載の医療用ガイドワイヤであって、
少なくとも1つの表示システムが表面に設けられた医療用ガイドワイヤ。 - 請求項1乃至4のうちのいずれか一項に記載の医療用ガイドワイヤであって、前記コーティングが治療剤を含んでいる医療用ガイドワイヤ。
- 請求項1に記載の医療用ガイドワイヤであって、
前記炭素質の主鎖が極性有機基を含んでおり、該極性有機基がヒドロキシル基及びカルボキニル含有基を含んでいる、医療用ガイドワイヤ。 - 請求項5に記載の医療用ガイドワイヤであって、
前記潤滑性のコーティングがポリビニルピロリドン又はその共重合体を含んでいる医療用ガイドワイヤ。 - 医療器具であって、
体内通路を横切るための細長い部材であって、エッチングされた炭素質の表面であって表面露出の炭素質の主鎖を表している炭素質の膜を備えている炭素質の表面を備えているフルオロポリマーコーティングを含んでいる細長い部材と、
前記表面上に設けられた潤滑性で親水性のコーティングであって、前記炭素質の表面に非共有結合によって接合された1以上のポリマーを含んでいる、前記潤滑性で親水性のコーティングと、を含んでいる医療器具。 - 請求項8に記載の医療器具であって、
前記炭素質の主鎖が極性有機基を含んでおり、該極性有機基がヒドロキシル基及びカルボキニル含有基を含んでいる、医療器具。 - 請求項9に記載の医療器具であって、
前記フルオロポリマーがポリテトラフルオロエチレンである医療器具。 - 請求項8乃至10のうちのいずれか一項に記載の医療器具であって、
カテーテル又はガイドワイヤである医療器具。 - 医療器具であって、
体内通路内を横切るか又は体内通路内に移植するための部材であって、炭素質の表面であって表面露出の炭素質の主鎖を表している炭素質の膜を備えている炭素質の表面を備えているエッチングされたポリマー部分を有している部材と、
前記炭素質の表面に接合された潤滑性で親水性のコーティングであって、前記炭素質の表面に非共有結合によって接合された1以上のポリマーを含んでいる、前記潤滑性で親水性のコーティングと、を含んでいる医療器具。 - 請求項12に記載の医療器具であって、
前記ポリマーがフルオロポリマーである医療器具。 - 請求項12又は13に記載の医療器具であって、
ガイドワイヤ、カテーテル又はステントである医療器具。 - 請求項12乃至14のうちのいずれか一項に記載の医療器具であって、前記コーティングが治療剤を含んでいる医療器具。
- 請求項15に記載の医療器具であって、
前記治療剤が抗生物質又は抗血栓剤を含んでいる医療器具。 - 医療器具に潤滑性のコーティングを適用するための方法であって、
ナトリウムによってエッチングされたポリマー表面であって表面露出の炭素質の主鎖を表している炭素質の膜を備えているナトリウムによってエッチングされたポリマー表面を備えた医療器具を準備することと、
潤滑性で親水性のコーティングを前記ナトリウムによってエッチングされた表面に適用することと、を含み、
前記潤滑性で親水性のコーティングが、前記炭素質の表面に非共有結合によって接合された1以上のポリマーを含んでいる、方法。 - 請求項17に記載の方法であって、
前記ポリマーがフルオロポリマーである方法。 - 請求項18に記載の方法であって、
前記フルオロポリマーがポリテトラフルオロエチレンである方法。 - 請求項17乃至19のうちのいずれか一項に記載の方法であって、
前記医療器具がガイドワイヤ、カテーテル又はステントである方法。 - 請求項20に記載の方法であって、
前記医療器具がガイドワイヤである方法。 - 医療用ガイドワイヤを製造するための方法であって、
細長いワイヤを準備することと、
前記細長いワイヤ上にフルオロポリマーのコーティングを適用することと、
エッチングされたフルオロポリマーの表面であって表面露出の炭素質の主鎖を表している炭素質の膜を備えているエッチングされたフルオロポリマーの表面を形成するために、前記フルオロポリマーのコーティングをナトリウム金属によってエッチングすることと、
前記エッチングされたフルオロポリマーの表面に潤滑性で親水性のコーティングを適用することと、を含み、
前記潤滑性で親水性のコーティングが、前記炭素質の表面に非共有結合によって接合された1以上のポリマーを含んでいる、方法。 - 医療器具に潤滑性の及び/又は調剤のコーティングを適用する方法であって、
前記医療器具のポリマー部分のエッチングされた炭素質の表面に、潤滑性で親水性のコーティングを適用することを含み、
前記炭素質の表面が表面露出の炭素質の主鎖を表している炭素質の膜を備えており、
前記潤滑性で親水性のコーティングが、前記炭素質の表面に非共有結合によって接合された1以上のポリマーを含んでいる、方法。 - 請求項23に記載の方法であって、
前記エッチングされた炭素質の表面が化学エッチングされたものである方法。 - 請求項24に記載の方法であって、
前記エッチングされた炭素質の表面がナトリウムによってエッチングされたものである方法。
