本発明は低刺激パック化粧料に関する。更に詳細には、pH安定性に優れた、皮膚に対する刺激性が低い弱酸性のパック化粧料に関する。

【従来の技術】
フェイス、ボディ用のパック化粧料には、ピールオフタイプ、拭き取りタイプ、洗い流しタイプなど種々のものがあるが、いずれの剤型も皮膚に適度な厚さに塗布し、一定時間放置後、剥離したり、拭き取り、洗い流すことによって、皮膚の保湿・賦活・皮膚表面の汚垢除去を図っている。

このようなパック化粧料のうち、とくに毛穴の汚れなど汚垢の除去に重点を置いた剤型に、カオリナイト、スメクタイト、ベントナイト等ケイ酸塩鉱物を主成分として含有したものがある。

しかしながら、こういったケイ酸塩鉱物、とくに増粘性を有する該成分を主体とするパック化粧料は、配合成分の性質上、示性pHが7.0以上のアルカリ性を示すことが多く、使用法上、皮膚上に比較的長時間塗付する必要があるため、アルカリ過敏症の人が皮膚刺激を感じるという問題があった。また調製当時は弱酸性であっても長期的にはpHが上昇し、安定性に問題が生じる。

こういった問題を解決するため、パック化粧料のpHを下げる手段として酸による中和が考えられるが、長期的にpHを弱酸性に維持することは難しい。例えば代表的な中和剤である乳酸を用いる場合、pHを弱酸性に維持するためには2重量%以上のごとく多量に配合する必要があり、その結果他の成分の配合が制限されたり、大量配合そのものによる刺激を感じることがあった。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
本発明の目的は、経時的にpHが上昇することなく安定性に優れ、皮膚に対し低刺激の弱酸性のパック化粧料を提供することにある。

【課題を解決するための手段】
かかる実情において、本発明者は鋭意研究を行った結果、後述する成分を組み合わせることにより、経時的にpHが上昇することなく安定性に優れ、かつ皮膚に対し刺激性が低い弱酸性のパック化粧料が得られることを見出し、本発明を完成するに至った。
すなわち、本発明は、
1.pH調整剤と増粘性を有するケイ酸塩鉱物とを含有し、系のpHが7.0未満の弱酸性である液状の低刺激パック化粧料であって、
ケイ酸塩鉱物がベントナイトであり、含有量が2〜5.5質量%であり、
pH調整剤がカルボキシビニルポリマーであり、含有量が0.05〜0.2質量%であることを特徴とする液状の低刺激パック化粧料。

【発明の実施の形態】
本発明で用いられるpH調整剤としては、カルボキシビニルポリマー等を挙げることができる。カルボキシビニルポリマーは1%水溶液にしてpHが3〜5の範囲である。このような成分の配合量は、本発明の低刺激パック化粧料中0.02〜0.4重量%が好ましく、特に0.05〜0.3重量%とすることが好ましい。

また、無水ケイ酸は一般に球状の微粒子粉体であり、皮膚に対する物理的な刺激が少ない成分である。このような成分の配合量は、本発明の低刺激パック化粧料中1〜15重量%が好ましく、特に2〜10重量%とすることが好ましい。無水ケイ酸は、パック化粧料において、pH調製剤として作用することができる。本発明の低刺激パック化粧料はpHが7.0未満に安定的に保持される。このようにして得られる低刺激パック化粧料は、弱酸性であり長時間塗布しても刺激感が抑制されている。

本発明における低刺激パック化粧料には、増粘性を有するケイ酸塩鉱物を含有する。該成分としては代表的なものとしてモンモリロナイトを主成分としたベントナイト等が挙げられる。

ケイ酸塩鉱物の配合量は、塗付時の使用性の点から、本発明化粧料全量中に1.5〜6.5重量%であるのが好ましく、特に2〜5.5重量%とすることが好ましい。

本発明の低刺激パック化粧料は、上記成分のほかに、通常のパック化粧料に含まれる保湿剤、界面活性剤、多価アルコール、低級アルコール、油剤、防腐剤、薬剤、香料、着色剤、水等が配合される。

本発明の低刺激パック化粧料は、常法により製造することができ、例えば、増粘性ケイ酸塩鉱物に、水、多価アルコール、保湿剤等の成分を混合、分散後、ここに低級アルコール等のアルコール相を加え、混合する等の方法により得ることができる。本発明の低刺激パック化粧料は、ボディ、フェイスに通常の使用方法により用いることができる。

次に、本発明を実施例によりさらに詳細に説明するが、本発明はこれによって限定されるものではない。なお、配合量はすべて重量%である。
実施例に先立ち、各実施例で用いた試験法、評価法を説明する。

[安定性]試料を調製後、調製当日および30日後にそれぞれ適量とり、pHメーター((株)堀場製作所;pH/ION METER F-32)にて測定した。評価は、調製当日のものと30日後に測定したものの差を以下の基準で行った。
◎: pH値の上昇が0.5未満
○: pH値の上昇が0.5以上1.0未満
△: pH値の上昇が1.0以上1.5未満
×: pH値の上昇が1.5以上

[刺激感] 試料を調製日から30日経過後、当社専門パネラー10名により使用試験を行った。試用試験はそれぞれブラインドにて行い、使用中または使用後の刺激感の有無について官能評価させた。
なお、官能評価(刺激感)は次に示す評価基準に従って評価した。

刺激を感じると回答したのが3〜7名 △

(実施例1〜4、比較例1〜3)下記表1中の(1)に(2)を加え攪拌分散させ、ここへ(5)を加えて湿潤させたところへ(3)、(4)、(6)を加え、均一に攪拌する。そこへ(7)、(8)を加え、均一になるまで攪拌し、試料(パック化粧料)を得た。
これら各実施例、比較例の試料を用いて、上記評価基準により安定性、刺激感の有無を評価した。結果を表1に示す。
