Description
前記中心電極の先端部及び前記接地電極の先端部間に火花放電間隙を有する内燃機関用スパークプラグであって、
前記中心電極の先端部及び前記接地電極の先端部のうち少なくとも一方には、貴金属チップが接合されており、
前記貴金属チップは、Ptを主成分とし、Rhを5質量%以上含むとともに、添加元素としてタングステン(W)を含み、前記添加元素の総含有量が0.1質量%以上であることを特徴とする。
前記中心電極の先端部及び前記接地電極の先端部間に火花放電間隙を有する内燃機関用スパークプラグであって、
前記接地電極の先端部には、略円柱形状又は多角柱形状をなす貴金属チップが接合されており、
前記貴金属チップは、接地電極本体から自身の先端までの軸線方向における突出長が0.3mm以上で、かつ、軸線方向から見た断面積が0.79mm2以下であるとともに、
白金を主成分とし、Rhを3質量%以上含み、添加元素としてWを含み、前記添加元素の総含有量が0.1質量%以上であることを特徴とする。
Claims (4)
- 中心電極と、
前記中心電極の外側に設けられた絶縁体と、
前記絶縁体の外側に設けられた主体金具と、
前記主体金具に設けられた接地電極とを備え、
前記中心電極の先端部及び前記接地電極の先端部間に火花放電間隙を有する内燃機関用スパークプラグであって、
前記中心電極の先端部及び前記接地電極の先端部のうち少なくとも一方には、貴金属チップが接合されており、
前記貴金属チップは、白金を主成分とし、ロジウムを5質量%以上含むとともに、添加元素としてタングステンを含み、前記添加元素の総含有量が0.1質量%以上であることを特徴とする内燃機関用スパークプラグ。 - 軸線方向に沿って延びる中心電極と、
前記中心電極の外側に設けられた絶縁体と、
前記絶縁体の外側に設けられた主体金具と、
前記主体金具に設けられ、先端部が前記中心電極の先端部と対向するよう配置された接地電極とを備え、
前記中心電極の先端部及び前記接地電極の先端部間に火花放電間隙を有する内燃機関用スパークプラグであって、
前記接地電極の先端部には、略円柱形状又は多角柱形状をなす貴金属チップが接合されており、
前記貴金属チップは、接地電極本体から自身の先端までの軸線方向における突出長が0.3mm以上で、かつ、軸線方向から見た断面積が0.79mm2以下であるとともに、
白金を主成分とし、ロジウムを3質量%以上含み、添加元素としてタングステンを含み、前記添加元素の総含有量が0.1質量%以上であることを特徴とする内燃機関用スパークプラグ。 - 前記貴金属チップは、ロジウムを5質量%以上含んでいることを特徴とする請求項2に記載の内燃機関用スパークプラグ。
- 前記添加元素の総含有量が0.1質量%以上3質量%以下であることを特徴とする請求項1乃至3のいずれかに記載の内燃機関用スパークプラグ。
