Claims (5)
- 複数の発光素子と、
前記発光素子の光量を検出する光量検出手段と、
前記光量検出手段で検出した光量と予め定められた基準値との比較に基づいて前記各発光素子を発光させて露光を行う場合の前記各発光素子の電流値を順次決定する光量制御を行う制御手段と、
前記発光素子ごとに複数設けられ前記制御手段の前記電流値を決定する電圧をそれぞれ保持する保持手段と、
前記制御手段で前記電流値を順次決定する前記複数の発光素子のうち最も早期に前記電流値を決定する前記発光素子については、前記光量制御を行うに先立って当該発光素子に対応している前記保持手段と前記制御手段とを切断されていた状態から接続状態にする接続手段と、
を備えている露光装置。 - 前記複数の発光素子は、その中の一部と他の一部とがそれぞれ異なる感光体を露光するものであり、
前記制御手段は、前記感光体ごとに前記感光体の露光に使用する前記発光素子について前記電流値を順次決定する制御を行ない、
前記接続手段は、前記感光体ごと前記感光体の露光に使用する前記発光素子について最も早期に前記制御値を決定するものについて、前記光量制御を行うに先立って当該発光素子に対応している前記保持手段と前記制御手段とを切断されていた状態から接続状態にする、
請求項1に記載の露光装置。 - 前記制御手段は、感光体の露光に使用するのが前記複数の発光素子の一部であるときは、当該一部の前記発光素子のうち最も早期に前記電流値を決定するものについては、前記光量制御を行うに先立って当該発光素子に対応している前記保持手段と前記制御手段とを切断されていた状態から接続状態にする、請求項1に記載の露光装置。
- 感光体と、
前記感光体を露光して静電潜像を形成する複数の発光素子を有する露光装置と、
前記静電潜像をトナーで現像する現像器と、
を備え、
前記露光装置は、
複数の発光素子を有する露光部と、
前記発光素子の光量を検出する光量検出手段と、
前記光量検出手段で検出した光量と予め定められた基準値との比較に基づいて前記各発光素子を発光させて露光を行う場合の前記各発光素子の電流値を順次決定する光量制御を行う制御手段と、
前記発光素子ごとに複数設けられ前記制御手段の前記電流値を決定する電圧をそれぞれ保持する保持手段と、
前記制御手段で前記電流値を順次決定する前記複数の発光素子のうち最も早期に前記電流値を決定する前記発光素子については、前記光量制御を行うに先立って当該発光素子に対応している前記保持手段と前記制御手段とを切断されていた状態から接続状態にする接続手段と、
を備えている画像形成装置。 - 複数の発光素子と、
前記発光素子の光量を検出する光量検出手段と、
前記光量検出手段で検出した光量と予め定められた基準値との比較に基づいて前記各発光素子を発光させて露光を行う場合の前記各発光素子の電流値を順次決定する光量制御を行う制御手段と、
前記発光素子ごとに複数設けられ前記制御手段の前記電流値を決定する電圧をそれぞれ保持する保持手段と、を備えている露光装置を制御して、
前記制御手段で前記電流値を順次決定する前記複数の発光素子のうち最も早期に前記電流値を決定する前記発光素子については、前記光量制御を行うに先立って当該発光素子に対応している前記保持手段と前記制御手段とを切断されていた状態から接続状態にする接続手段をコンピュータに実行させる、コンピュータに読取可能なプログラム。
